This hotel was great! I know there are a few negative reviews about service. However, we really enjoyed our stay. The shuttle buses to our room on the hill were 24 hours and they came within 5 minutes of our call. The hotel also offers shuttles to Patong beach which saved us a lot of money on transportation!

A nice modern clean hotel. I stayed here with my daughter and used it as a launch pad to the port where Phi Phi tours depart from. The good: Helpful check in, including for organising our tour. Clean and modern. Nice rooms, bathrooms and quiet central air. A top Chinese restaurant attached to the lobby. They had a street food popup rooftop restaurant. The views in the evening were stunning with bush on one side and nightlights on the other. Once you get over the 200 baht charge, the hotel taxi to the old town was very nice. A free shuttle I didn't use - only twice daily, and just to the Central mall. They had connecting rooms, which can be tricky to find. The bad: It's a bit far from things. There is no balcony at the room. The menu prices listed exclude tax and service.. a pet peeve. There was no facility to charge to the room. Paying by credit card in the restaurants they kept setting to the foreign card currency, via some third party with a poor conversion rate. It was a real struggle just to simply get a charge in Thai Baht. The pool is very small but has a nice view. The gym looked pretty good but I didn't use it. Would I stay there again? Yes for sure.

It was a very beautiful and relaxing stay. We had the Senses Suite which came with a jacuzzi and ample room space with living hall, balcony etc. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. Everything is good except for the location which was quite far from the beach as the place is located on a hill top. Nevertheless this is compensated with a complimentary shuttle service which goes to Patong beach and shopping mall, Jungceylon. By foot, you will need 15-20 minutes to walk but by car, about 8 minutes. The swimming pool is huge and very beautiful overlooking the sea and town. Overall it was a really good stay.

I recently had the opportunity to extend my stay at Thavorn Beach Village Resort and Spa Phuket due to a missed flight, and I must say it turned out to be a delightful experience. The hotel staff was extremely helpful in accommodating our last-minute request for an extra night, ensuring a seamless transition to a new room. Although our new room was located further up the hill, away from the beach, it was a luxurious haven. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities one would expect from a high-end resort. The panoramic views from the room were stunning, making up for the slight inconvenience of having to take a slow-moving roller coaster car to the lobby area. Speaking of the facilities, I can confidently say that they are nothing short of excellent. The resort boasts an array of amenities catering to various interests and preferences. Firstly, they served delicious cuisines that you simply have to try. I mean for me, all the meals I had there was perfect. Dinner - Asian Buffet Breakfast - Breakfast Buffet Lunch - ala-carte at Beach Restaurant Bad thing: Splash Jungle Waterpark needs EXTENSIVE maintenance. If you planning to ride on those “giant” slide, I recommend you not! It causes my back to be itchy and is this acceptable? When was the last you guy sanitise the tube? Is it still up to the standard set and how will you ensure the ridding the tube will not cause any repercussion to its user?

Staffs are friendly . My son likes the fun pool alot . Room with jacuzzi is great . Breakfast spread is nice . Hotel is great especially one of the buggy staff , dint manage to ask for his name but he is most friendly and funny . Just one issue for room : ants can be seen crawling everywhere. Even no food around . We still have to throw containers of food at level one to prevent more ants to room . I extended one more day and Counter staff did not inform that we have to go to counter to renew the check in card . We only realized after we tried tapping card to room after a long day . We have to then walk back to check in counter to enquire . And the staff didn’t explain what happen til I ask . Staff did not apologize too .

But then bad start very good. We booked a normal room. Unfortunately, we were first brought into a room in which apparently a short time before was a water damage. It smelled insupportable muffy and many of the furniture were cool. I asked for another room and got it next to it. That was not really better, but it smells less bad. After a bad night at the smell and noise of the street we asked again for a new room and I proposed an upgrade. We could then eventually move to a quiet and renovated room. This room was very wonderful. I recommend therefore just booking a little better room. The location of the hotel is good. At foot you reach the old town and everything you needed. The style of the hotel is very beautiful. The staff friendly. Breakfast I would probably not book for it even in the night. It is not a buffet but a pre-order dish with two drinks that is brought to the room. The Thai dishes are good and rich. The American is made of a (!) untoasted dish toast. Last night we had a fire alarm in the middle of the night because a person smoked in her room. It quickly dissolved that it was nothing dangerous. However, it was not excused with a word. I found it very bad. In principle I would book it again but just a better and quiet room and without breakfast.

We were satisfied with our room in this hotel: - the room was clean and got cleaned every day - there's a fridge in the room and you get a small bottle of water every day - it's near the city center of Phuket Town (around 15 minutes on foot) but you don't hear the traffic in the center (there were some roosters next to the hotel, and they were pretty loud and active from around 5 am, but I guess this was something temporary because nobody else wrote about them :D) - you can climb the Khao Rang viewpoint before the peek tourist hours (it takes around 10-15 minutes to the top) There are no real negative parts to this room, but just in an fyi sort of way - we booked a room with a balcony and although the balcony was there, it's not really a sort of a place to sit in and relax, which we thought it would be (you enter it through a window, it's pretty small and tight). The other thing is that we needed transport to the Rassada Pier early one morning and the hotel has or can organize this transport - but the price we were told was pretty high (700 baht!), which is pretty strange considering that even the regular-taxi-mafia charged less than this. I wouldn't mind staying here again, but mainly since my boyfriend and I aren't drivers and couldn't rent a scooter, next time I would probably search for accommodation closer to the bus station because this would make it easier to travel to other parts of the island with public transport and avoid taxis as much as possible.

Check in was swift/ prompt. Hotel lobby is always kept clean. Room is spacious with balcony facing poolside and has bathtub, perfect for a good soak before getting some good sleep. Patong beach is just 350m/ 5mins walk. If you’re adventurous do to walk further to Patong boat pier (650m frm hotel) Bigger 7-11 store right in front of the Patong beach which has fresh daily pastries/ bakes and ready-to-eat salad bowls (very fresh if you get them early morning, right after your morning beach walk) Many food/ restaurants/ cafes available just on the long stretch of Patong beach. Walking distance to Bangla Rd too. Hotel provides clean beach towel and umbrella too so helpful/ useful during my 4 days stay as the Sun was too hot, and I’d sit 2hrs on the beach to read my book and gazed at the sunset. Highly recommend this for solo traveler, safe neighbourhood and value for money.

Pros: Staff are friendly and efficient. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Room was clean. View was nice. About 10-15 minutes walk to the beach. Vendors are nearby and along the walk to get to the beach. Tours can be booked in hotel lobby or next door. A quality spa is next door, so it was 650Baht for 1 hour full body aromatherapy oil massage. There are street massages nearby for 200Baht if you want simple and cheaper. No noise heard from within the room. Rooftop pool area is beautiful. Fitness room is simple Cons: The beds looks comfy but it's hard. They went for extra extra extra Firm! A mattress topper was brought in and it was helpful. The building is very close to other hotels so you can see into other rooms and they can see into yours. Just make sure to close your blinds. Busy area so the roads gets traffic. Just plan ahead for it if you have to take a car somewhere.

Prior to arriving at this hotel, we had stayed at some nice hotels in Vietnam & Cambodia, which in our view we’re getting better as our trip progressed. That wasn’t the case with the Beachfront hotel. First impressions were ok but we arrived late in the evening, and the receptionist must have been in a rush, as she rhymed off a lot of information in a matter of seconds. Our room, to be fair, wasn’t bad until we looked around. The first thing we noticed, was the toilet seat. It was a small size seat put on a large bowl!! We opted for the sea view room, but it wasn’t until the morning when we looked out the window, that we overlooked a field full of ****s and old tin buildings. Technically, we could see the sea, but really! We had to strain our neck to see it! Then came the beach! What beach? An area at the bottom of the hotel that is covered in sand and has sun beds. They have a bar there, so that saved the day, or did it? We quickly noticed that between the hours of 15:00 - 17:00 & 19:00 - 21:00 were happy hours, where they advertise 2 drinks for the price of 1. That made things better, until we noticed that all drinks on happy hour were nearly double the price. So, a bottle of Chang beer was normally 130 baht, but on happy hour, the same bottle was 250 baht!!!! Rip-off! If you happened to be one of the lucky ones to get the hotel transport to a beach area, some 15 minutes away, you’ve done well. The vehicle can only sit 8 persons, which means, most of the hotel wishing to go to the beach area, needs to order their own transport. Give credit where credits due, the breakfast and food in general is good. Staff in the restaurants are polite and helpful, but less can be said for the reception area. I found them slightly abrupt, ignorant and no patience. If you’re staying here for one or two nights, it’s ok, but anything more, I wouldn’t bother. The one thing that did come out of our trip here, was the menu. As much as the food is good, it was same old, same old, so we went out one night for something different. This lead us to a restaurant called Zen Eat, only about a 5 minute drive in a taxi, which should cost about 200 baht. A fabulous French fusion restaurant that was just amazing. You really have to try.

The reception is basic and run down. Initial thought embrace the jungle theme. The trek to our room was long with many steps, not the picturesque route imagined. We went through a very large run down wooden area, maybe a closed cafe. Initially the room looked perfect from the outside. When they opened the door the smell hit us, like a smoke den. So strong you could taste it. Honestly never been in a room anywhere with such a stench. Requested a move which happened promptly, not a problem. When we got to the next room the outside ashtray had been hidden under the table and the room sprayed with eucalyptus to mask the smoke. We requested to move hotels. Our agent couldn’t get us a move for two days which we agreed to. Hotel refunded agent no problem. The rooms have very dark furniture and are very dark. First night in the room I was bitten everywhere. Spent a month in Thailand and not a single bite. This was ridiculous When we met the agent in reception she commented on how many bites I had, yes from last night. The room was sprayed later that day. All our luggage ( waiting to move hotels) was moved. One bag shoved in a cupboard we didn’t know existed leading us to believe we had lost a bag. The whole experience was a nightmare. Breakfast was ok. Limited selection, cold fried eggs Coffee very good. We were shocked that this was the “rock” restaurant in the night. Thank goodness they didn’t respond to our two booking request months earlier for my hubby’s birthday, It really doesn’t deserve the hype. If you are disabled, have problems walking or children this isn’t the resort for you. Our first room had large pebbles on the floor all around the bath in the middle of the room. Not enough room to walk around them. The second room had a large shelf at the side of the bed, why? You needed to get in and out of the bed half way up to avoid knocking yourself. They did offer free evening meal at a local restaurant that they own. Food and service very good, only plus. We had come from a 5* hotel and this was supposed to be a 4.5* something very wrong with the rating system. Would never return. Hotel we moved to, same rating, fabulous! Booking again.

Had a really nice stay at the hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was well kept, clean with a nice modern design. It has all the standard amenities plus the room and bathroom is really large so that adds to the comfort. The balcony comes with stools and a mini table. The bed was surprisingly comfy and better than most hotels I've stayed at. The only drawback of the room is the air conditioning which I think is too cold and can't be adjusted, but that's not so bad in the hot climate. The location is top notch and within walking distance to the beach and nearby bars, restaurants and shopping mall. There will be a lot of night music and traffic noises nearby so I chose a room facing the pool / garden side and that already cancels out 95% of the noise. I especially enjoyed the rooftop pool and the buffet breakfast.

My first time on Tripadvisor to share some disappointments about the level of services I received upon check-in at this so called ”5-star” hotel. - I am Thai but live abroad. I came home to Phuket to visit my friends and family and chose to stay here to get a holiday feeling while in my home place. - I drove to the resort myself, and came in right past the security box but no one came out to help guide me to where to park or tell me about the lobby location as the lobby is not in an obvious place. - There's a sign pointing to the lobby but the road is very steep and not an easy drive up - I drove right up to the lobby, jumped off the car and came inside the lobby (still with no human contact up until this point) - At the reception, there were two staff there, with no smiles on their face looking busy counting the money. My friend had to say hi to get their attention. - The check-in process was fast and easy but we were disappointed as there were no cold towels nor welcome drinks provided. (I thought this was something to be expected at a 5-star hotel). - The check-in was done within 2 minutes, and we were provided with a room key card but no other information was provided i.e. breakfast time & location and facilities around the hotel. We had to ask for this information as we walk to our room. - There were 4 bottles of water in the room but they were left out of the fridge so none of them are cold and ready to drink. In the 30+degree heat, cold water is something very common in hotel rooms in my opinion and experience staying in hotels in Thailand. - The bed is big but the mattress is very hard and not comfortable. - We're in the room for the past 40 minutes and the air conditioning does not feel anywhere near cool when it was set at 18 degrees. Overall we are very disappointed with the check-in and services at the lobby as both myself and my friend did not feel welcome. The room is another disappointment, no cold water in the room, a hard mattress, the pillows feel cheap and the air conditioning does not get cool. None of our experiences so far feel like any other 5-star hotel we have stayed in before. I would definitely not return here again in the future or not recommend this place to anyone.

We recommend Bandara! We had a lovely journey here at Bandara. The pool and its view are incredible. The room is super clean and confortable and the staff is amazing! Always smiling, ready to help, very charming. They also can help you book any taxi ride or activities. The breakfast was always delicious. We really enjoyed our stay! :) oh and it is 2 minutes walking feom a 7-eleven. ;)

Had a great stay at the hotel, spacious rooms and lovely swimming pools and pool bars. We would’ve loved to see more pictures f a variety during breakfast time, too many of the same dishes especially since we stayed for 5 nights. Better shuttle service to the beach would’ve been great too, there are only 4 opportunities each day to take the shuttle bus to the beach nearby and back to the hotel. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bang Tao and they had a shuttle service going to the market and beach at all times, this made it just nicer to plan your day and a wonderful extra service from the Hilton. Rooms have very little privacy, although the views are incredible, you have to keep your blinds closed at all times otherwise the room opposite you can look directly into your bedroom which just spoiled having these great windows and views. Overall good stay and was quite relaxing, friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is so good! The room was big and clean. Cleaning every day. So close to the beach! Just cross the road and here you are. Breakfast was amazing! Really a lot if different food, so everybody can choose what they like. Wifi was workinv in the room in a good way! Tv as well! On the roof the swimming pools were working, but one area was closed. Maybe that area opens only for high season. But without that area it was still great! Definitely will come back here one day 😁😁 The only minus was that on balcony our clothes were not drying at all, cause the window was small and it was going inside (between the 2 hotel buildings) and there was a roof between the buildings, so, there was no any ventilation. So, the clothes were getting smelly instead of drying. 🤦🏼♀️ But there are other areas with opened balconies, so, maybe in those rooms there is no such a problem.

Love this resortl! Great pools and convenient location! Good for family and friends! The room is clean and big! It's only 3 minutes away from beach and there's 711 right across the street! 2 pools for grown ups are very big and nice and the kids pool is very nice too(according to my childhood memories) The poolside bar has variety of drinks and the staffs there are always friendly and nice! The staffs at this hotel was really amazing even the hotel guard and the gardening staffs! Everybody was very friendly and kind especially Bunrung, Supith and Keaw! Just checked out from here today and I already miss it!

The rooms are small, cleaning is practically not available. During the week, the floors have not been washed. The bathroom was full of sand. The hoods in the shower are not present. The door in the bathroom is broken, it was necessary not to close it at all 🙈 On the balcony at all did not come. The dryer is not available. Toilet paper was not put. The pool is closed at 9, and even just sitting next to it after 9 is not possible. Very noisy. Not much that the stadium and club under the window, and the crowds of neighbors hear all night. Single slippers have not put. The dish washed. In general, from cleaning one visibility. Parking is not available. Everything stands in front of the entrance and under the open sky. Breakfast is scarce, close to 10 no longer add anything. Near bed there are no bulbs. The light switch is between the pillows. At night, the head was constantly lighted and woke up. The hotel was not very much liked at all.

Our check-in was very smooth. We booked a single room for two days at the beginning, and then added another day. My holiday in the Orchid at Peter. December 2018 I met the hotel, then I just returned to a beer. And there I decided to spend the next holiday from 30.11 – 15.12.2019 there. I was impressed as easy everyone handled each other. You didn't feel so alone and it offered more often a conversation with other nice guests. watching football and a delicious tiger swept at the treasure. In other hotels you are always as an anonymous as a single traveler, although you don't want to be. I felt better with Peter than with the 5 stars that are too many. The rooms are large and clean, the staff is master of the daytime and everyone is trying to make it good for me as guest. Since I like Thai cuisine very much, but also once want to eat pig filet mignons the choice of food is more than pleasant. Eating is in price performance to others very good. Tastefully wonderful both Thai/and German food. Especially well I liked the peasant bread and sauce. The hotel is very centrally located. It has a shopping center nearby, shopping opportunities without end. The party Mile Bangla Road is just a stone throw from the hotel. It is not far too only a morning walk no longer. The Lantern Resorts is in a great location. It’s a short walk from the beach down the length of Bangla Road but it’s far enough away from Bangla Road for the rooms to be very quiet. The hotel has a couple of good swimming pools which are well maintained, the restaurant at the hotel has tasty Western and Thai options and there is a vast array of bars and restaurants very nearby. There is a variety of rooms which suit families, couples or solo travellers. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. I did have one unfortunate incident with the safe in my room but that was resolved quickly and efficiently by the general manager, Sandy. I’ll be coming back in the future and I recommend it to anyone else.

Location is good. Close to Bangla road, close to Malin plaza. Service can be better. There was no slippers in our room, there was no toothbrushes and toothpaste. It's not good for hotel to save money on such a small things. The biggest minus: it was very noisy, very loud music from the bars nearby until 2-3 am, it means no sound isolation at all!! Air conditioner is also very noisy, totally very old and need to be changed already. Swimming pool can be more clean. I am quite happy that I chose Holiday Inn Resort Patong, thanks for those who wrote their reviews 👍this hotel is very close to everything you need, within walking distance to restaurants, malls, convenience stores, beach n the famous walking street. But it is always quiet within the hotel. We don't need to spend anything on transportation except to n from the airport. We stayed at the premium balcony room on the new wing, it is very nice. I like the design of separate toilet, bathroom, sink n dressing table, which is very convenient. All the staff are nice and helpful. The breakfast is ok. Although the variety is not much, it got all the basic stuff. Swimming pool is nice n not crowded at all, maybe Sept is not the peak season. Only one thing that I don't like was the hotel's Friday night BBQ dinner buffet which costs Baht 850 per person. Beef was overcooked, prawns were undercooked. We founded that the BBQ chicken wings bought from the street hawker were much more better n it is definitely an must try.

The hotel was just renovated at the end of last year, only half of it was renovated. We booked a premium terrace room, which has been renovated. The location of the hotel is considered very good. Get a sea view in every room. The room is considered wide. This atmosphere is like being with a girlfriend. The room is a slide loft. It might make the room not look very wow. Amenities are general. But what I don't like is The TV is hanging in a place that makes it difficult to view. because next to the bed Breakfast is considered very good. I like that it has spaghetti as well. Overall, it's very good. There will definitely be a chance to come back and use the service again.

Have stayed one night in this small guest house, at the end of a side street from the main road to the Chalong pier it was very quiet at night but only 2 minutes walk from the bars and restaurants on the Main Street. The downside is that the reception was unstaffed when I got there and I had to use the contact number to get checked in. Apart from that a good location if you are going on dive or snorkelling trips from Chalong with some lively night life and good places to eat very close.

I found myself having to stay longer than intended in Phuket, on short notice, and couldn't be happier I found Phuket Paradiso. It's a great place to stay. Charlie makes you feel so welcome and relaxed. It has the comfortable, warm feeling of staying with family. Clean, safe, secure and only 30 seconds walk from the beach. Nothing is too much trouble for Charlie and his team. He makes an effort to get to know every guest, drops little treats (drinks and snacks) outside your room and is great fun to chat to. I'll be staying here again without hesitation. 5 stars is not enough!

If you’re adventurous do to walk further to Patong boat pier (650m frm hotel) Bigger 7-11 store right in front of the Patong beach which has fresh daily pastries/ bakes and ready-to-eat salad bowls (very fresh if you get them early morning, right after your morning beach walk) Many food/ restaurants/ cafes available just on the long stretch of Patong beach. Walking distance to Bangla Rd too. Hotel provides clean beach towel and umbrella too so helpful/ useful during my 4 days stay as the Sun was too hot, and I’d sit 2hrs on the beach to read my book and gazed at the sunset. Highly recommend this for solo traveler, safe neighbourhood and value for money.
