Hotels near Dadonghai International Diving Club, Sanya

We were returning customers to this hotel, having been there once before during the times of Covid. The last time we gave the hotel 5 stars, this time I feel I can give it 4. For the following reasons. The location and cleanliness were very good. Close to shops and rooms cleaned each day. We did ask to be re-roomed after the first night, as the room we were first in had a bad smell, like drains, however the staff member known on Wechat as ”You are my Sunshine” was very quick to assist and upgraded us without questioning to a better room. I would say he was a very good staff member. Last time, more staff spoke English, however on our arrival, the women at the counter assumed we were Russian, in fact, most staff members did, and when we asked if there were any English speaking staff to help us, many staff (including those that arrange excursions and work in the restaurant) simply shook their heads or outright walked away. Thankfully, my broken Chinese got me through most of it, but I would recommend for the future, as more travellers come, they have at least one person there to speak Russian or English. Another issue about facilities. There are 2 pools, but I never saw the adult pool to be open, only the baby pool. And the private beach was unfortunately manned by lifeguards who wouldn't allow people to swim in the small waves of the ocean (I understand safety is important but they were blowing whistles for adults who were only paddling up to their ankles.) In future, in peak times, I'd suggest having both pools open, especially if the ocean is off limits. This said, there was always a sunbed avaliable. The breakfast was nice, with a good selection to suit all, and it continued until past 11am, which was helpful. If you want to watch TV, they have a large screen, but take a cable to hook up your computer unless you want to pay to mirror your phone through an app。 In general it was a pleasant stay, there are things to be improved, but I've stayed in much worse.

Squat toilets are in the rooms without balconies, which I discovered when I moved from the balcony room. The shower and bed are also much lower quality for not much or a price difference, so I recommend the balcony room. The bathroom, bedding, kettle were all clean. The balcony furniture in good repair. Nice smelling toiletries. The owner was a sweet lady. I would definitely stay again. :)

Well, this hotel was perfect a few years ago. I remember it was even better than nearby 5 star hotels. I was disappointed this time, because it got old. It doesn't feel like that beautiful Barry hotel it used to be. But, still the location is convenient and the price is very pleasant. Only because of its low price I would recommend it. But don't expect anything fancy. I hope that Barry will be renovated in the nearest future.

Very good experience. Because I was too satisfied on the first day, I continued for two more days. The front desk was very enthusiastic about the attractions and travel plans. I lost my ID while washing clothes, but luckily it was found and returned by the hotel. Reassuring and reliable hotel. The hotel is situated in a very touristy area. Many Russian-speaking tourists. There is a mall by the hotel and a food court area across the street, the beach is within walking distance. The room was clean it came with basic amenities, I would take an extension lead to charge multiple devices. The elevators are very slow and if you want to relax by the pool and find a place to sit you need to go early as the seats get taken fast. The gym area has enough equipment to get the job done. Check-in and check-out were very fast, we had no problems. If you cannot speak Chinese they will translate. There were a few rude entitled tourists. Be courteous and respectful to the workers and people trying to help, and make an effort to use their language either via a translation app or learn a few words. You will see the instant appreciation and respect for trying. If you go to the front of the pineapple and walk left for about 5/10min you can find some Western restaurants called the Dolphin, Little India and an Italian place. If you want coffee early in the morning there is a Starbucks on that same road that opens at 7:00 am. Overall it was a good stay for a business trip with no issues.

It's good. The house is very clean and well laid out. It's quite big and can accommodate four people without any problem. The small room also has a separate bathroom. The view from the balcony is particularly good at night. The price is also very reasonable and highly recommended! ! ! I just forgot to take photos, but the interior decoration is very warm and nice.

Although the house is not newly decorated, it is well maintained, and the corners of the bathroom are very clean. The living room is very spacious, and it feels like home to sit on the sofa and watch TV. The washing machine is also equipped with washing powder, which is very thoughtful. The staff is also very enthusiastic and will take the initiative to help carry the boxes, which is very kind. I will choose it again next time!

We stayed 4 days and we had a great time, nice beaches, relaxing time great sea food. Sally from the hotel speak english and she was very helpful. Very large rooms with excellent view.

The room is clean and comfortable, the service is warm and thoughtful, the facilities are complete, and the accommodation is very good for business and travel. In particular, the price provided by Ctrip is very cheap and preferential.
