We did not have a car to take us back to the hotel in Pudacuo National Park, and she immediately asked her colleague to pick us up.

It is what a good hotel should be like. The room is clean and the bedding is impeccable. The water temperature is suitable and they thoughtfully inform you that bathing in plateau areas should not take more than 10 minutes. The front desk staff are also very nice. The breakfast at Shangri-La is also rich and delicious. The key point is that you can tell from the name that the room can supply oxygen (you need to contact the front desk for oxygen supply service). You can go hiking at night without worry. You don’t have to worry about high reflexes. Anyway, you can breathe oxygen while lying on your own bed, so you have peace of mind😼

We chose this hotel for its new and modern rooms kitted with oxygen supply. We were pleased with the welcome drinks and fresh towels upon arrival. We loved our room, which included a comfortable bed, open concept bathroom with strong shower pressure, choice of designer toiletries, automated oxygen supply after 630pm to help with the high altitude, a 100 inch Xiaomi TV and quality tea minibar snacks in the room lounge area. We wished we could have a better view than the building next door but this is a small issue as we were out most of the time. We enjoyed the good night dessert left in our room every night, and we had ample ******* breakfast every morning, which kept us energised till afternoon. (You can also choose Chinese and Western breakfast.) The hotel provides free bottled water in the lobby, convenient before stepping out or returning from a long day. We thought there was a butler service to help with maps, travel information, transportation or tours in and around Shangri-La but maybe we were mistaken. The two female reception staff and concierge were friendly and helpful in answering our questions but they were also busy doubling up as room and breakfast service staff. Despite this, they did a good job of tending to many guests. Location of the hotel is outside of the old town. We have to take a 12-15 minute walk along a side road and cross an avenue to get to the bridge that leads you to the entrance of the old town. Not to worry, if you do not wish to walk to town (or walk back at night), taxis or DiDi aren't expensive. We would still recommend the hotel for its great value.

This is a newly opened hotel. The facilities are well-equipped and the sanitation is very clean. The room has no smell and the environment is very quiet. The service attitude is very good. My room in Feifan is going to be the highlight of the stay. It is large, spacious for family of 4. The second floor is definitely the cutest part. We really enjoy our stay here. The host also helped us with all travel related needs like ordering taxi, sending us chaffeur to tour the Napahai, bringing us luggage, as well as picking us up at the train station. One thing to add, I felt like a proper training for the reception would really elevate the overall ”luxury” experience. The breakfast needs more depth, maybe ******* meal will make this more special. Kudos to the manager for sending us back to the train station. Notes for foreigner, try to get locals to phone the hotel number to inform them about your booking so they can have your wechat for convinience.

I had such a great stay at Lanyun Inn. Upon arriving at this quiet and comfortable Inn, I was immediately impressed by how spacious and inviting my room was. It came with heated floors, a comfortable bed, hot water, great wifi, and very convenient location. I got the best sleep here throughout my entire stay in China. I'm not sure if the girl working the front desk is the owner or not, but she is so nice. She helped me bring my bags to my room, answered any questions I had, and took me to the airport at 6am - no questions asked! I have to say the hospitality at Lanyun Inn is some of the best I've come across throughout my travels. Thank you so much for making my stay so great and I highly recommend staying here!

The room was nice and clean, providing a comfortable stay. Located in an area with ******* traditional clothing shops, the hotel offered a delightful cultural experience, and walking around at night in the cool weather was especially enjoyable.
