4-Star Hotels in Boston

An excellent hotel! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Although the breakfast selection wasn't huge, it was absolutely delicious and satisfying. They even didn't mind guests taking a reasonable amount back to their rooms (just don't overdo it!). The room wasn't large, but it was perfectly adequate, and the layout was very efficient for a solo traveler. There's a subway station right downstairs, but it was temporarily closed. Luckily, there's another entrance just across the street. Most importantly, I think this hotel is incredibly friendly for Boston Marathon participants: it's very close to the expo, with two DICK'S Sporting Goods and Lululemon stores nearby, and my 'uncle' (referring to a store/landmark) is right across from the expo. You can walk to the starting line or take two subway stops; since Copley station was closed, it was effectively just one stop to the bag drop-off. After finishing the race and picking up my bag, it was just a short walk to an open subway station. It wasn't blocked off, and it was again two stops (or effectively one) back to the hotel. The Back Bay airport shuttle is also very convenient, about a 500-meter walk from the hotel. The Museum of Fine Arts is within walking distance, and the Charles River is perfect for a run. There's a Chinese restaurant nearby, and Berkeley Noodle House is quite good – the owner is from Guangdong, and she's very nice. Surprisingly, I didn't find the Vietnamese pho to be that great.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in Back Bay, making transportation incredibly convenient. There's a shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel, and it's within walking distance of the train station. The views are great, with the Boston Public Library right downstairs, and shopping and dining are very accessible. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding comfortable, and the overall stay was very relaxing. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. Overall, it offers good value for money, and the toiletries and coffee bar were also very good. The only minor downside was that there was only one chair in the room, which wasn't very convenient for two people.

This Indigo should have just been renovated last year, and Apple's own map shows Holiday Choice. I have stayed a lot at Intercontinental / Crown / Holiday / Smart Choice. Get a staple drink for breakfast, a small portion and a bad attitude. There is no garden around this hotel. Why is it called Garden? Because next to TD Garden, which is also the home field of basketball and ice hockey teams, concerts are also held, the price changes a lot, there are often no rooms when there are activities, and it is noisy after leaving at night. It is also next to the North Railway Station and the subway station, but to go to New York from South Station. There is a parking lot and valet parking at the entrance of the hotel. Unfortunately, when I checked in, it was 5 ° C outside, and I changed to the fourth room to heat up. When your room has a small air conditioner as shown in Figure 4, the large air conditioner is likely to be bad, and the small air conditioner may also be bad, much colder than the hallway. There are two types of curtains: blackout and sun protection. The area is convenient – ​​you can quickly reach Cambridge, and Downtown is a 15-minute walk away. , the Freedom Trail is also nearby. The hotel is located in the bus station building, but there are few people around, so it doesn't feel like a neighbor. However, there is a large food court nearby, a huge supermarket with a huge selection of everything, including alcohol and prepared foods. Also across the street is Little Italy, with many delicious restaurants and bars. Overall, we are very glad we chose this hotel.

Harvard is accessible by subway, and MIT is a walk away on the return trip. Chinatown and Macy's are a 5-minute walk away. Cleanliness: Decent. Value for Money: Alright. A good choice if you prioritize saving time and feeling safe. Room Size: The twin room was a suitable size. Soundproofing: Decent. Room Amenities: The beds are high and the mattresses are quite soft. The bathroom has a bathtub (low and small), the showerhead is a bit low, and the water pressure is average. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided. No slippers, toothpaste, or toothbrushes. The room has a microwave and a mini-fridge. There's a free ice machine and water dispenser in the hallway. Service: Check-in is at 3 PM, check-out at 12 PM. Early check-in costs an additional $50. Luggage storage is available in advance (free). A $100 per day deposit is required at check-in (held on the bank card, refunded within 2 hours after check-out). Complimentary cookies are given at check-in (very sweet). The hotel lobby bar features a singer in the evening, offering an American bar atmosphere.

The location is excellent, with convenient access to all metro lines. It's especially handy for getting to and from the airport, which I used multiple times. The hotel itself is clean, and the staff are friendly. The breakfast was also delicious. In the mornings, you can easily access the seaside promenade for a walk, and there are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. I'd definitely like to stay here again on my next visit.

Right in the heart of Back Bay, super convenient for getting anywhere. There's a huge Star Market supermarket next door, so you can grab any food, drinks, or daily essentials in about 3 minutes. This Marriott is just an average Marriott – nothing special, nothing bad, so don't expect too much. No mini-bar though.

The hotel is conveniently located right out of the building, across the bridge, and you'll find the JFK metro station. You can take the Red Line from there to Harvard, MIT, and downtown, which is really handy. There's a Star Market near the subway station, good for grabbing some food, though there aren't many restaurants nearby. The front desk staff, especially the sweet young lady from Guangzhou who wears glasses, was quite enthusiastic. The other Asian-looking staff, I'm not sure if they were Chinese, weren't as friendly, so I didn't get to chat with them. The hotel offers airport shuttle service, which is a great perk. The foreign drivers are also very friendly. I booked a pickup when I landed, and even though it was just me, they still came to get me, saving me a good few tens of dollars. The room was quite spacious, and you can get two cookies from the front desk every day. Overall, it was a good stay, but hotel prices in Boston are seriously expensive!

The hotel's second floor directly connects to the mall, making dining and going out super convenient. It's also linked to one of the subway lines, so you don't even have to go outside. The location is excellent, right next to Newbury. The hotel rooms are quite large, and there are many rooms on each floor, which unfortunately meant housekeeping was slow. I stayed for two days, leaving in the morning and returning at night, only to find the room still hadn't been cleaned. The bathroom towels were of average quality, and the bathroom itself was a bit small, with a shower over the tub.

One restaurant. Just had some breakfast there. A bit pricey, but it is a Hilton. The gym is 5 star. Not a typical hotel gym. This was a highlight. Rooms are fairly large. 2 bottles of water provided in room. Bathroom was large. And for The price per night I paid via Trip.com , it was a bargain compared to other properties in the area. A short walk to Newbury St., and about a 15-20 walk to Fenway.
