Then I went to the guy at the counter again in the evening and he said that currency can be changed even earlier, just wait until 9 am. Finally, the morning of the 4th day came and I exchanged dollars for yuan, they accepted a maximum of 200 dollars for exchange. This is probably the first ridiculous case in all my trips. Conclusion: be persistent in your desires and don't hesitate to remind the staff of what you need.
