　We stayed at a hot spring with a few rooms. We were able to enter the hot spring for 24 hours and entered many times in the middle of the night. The meal of the inn is delicious, but when I went to the second time, I stayed overnight and went to eat nearby. If possible, I think there is a plan with breakfast for one night. It was very healed.

Location is excellent, about 1 minutes walk to the train station, or to the main street, both of which have lots of restaurants. The staff are very helpful, although only 1 lady could speak reasonable English. The rooms are very spacious, and comfortable, although the bathroom is on the old side. Those who used the onsen really loved it, although you have to pay an onsen tax, even if you don't use it. Breakfast is on the expensive side, and even little kids have to pay. However, free coffee/tea and soup are provided in the lounge area. There are lot of lockers, but only 2 washers/dryers. The dryer function is not effective, even after 60 mins of drying, so I ended up hanging the clothes in the room to dry instead.

It is a Japanese style five story inn in front of Echigo Yuzawa Station. It was personally good in a tatami room with a bath in the room. There was a low score comment on the color 々 site, but the receptionist man, free coffee, room and stone bath in the room were very good. The cleaning was also neat. The restaurant is also very delicious with a lot of Niigata. There is a regular lodging separately because I do snowbo, but this hotel is very good in front of the station! Check-in is also 2 o'clock, check-out can be stayed for a long time at 11 o'clock. Please also keep your luggage after check-out and correspondence ◎! Thank you for your wonderful time.

近くに国道17号がありますが、住宅街の中にあるので、うるさくもなくゆっくりできました。 駅前にあるバス乗り場にもでやすいので、スキースノボで来るならとても良い場所かと思います 小さいですが３〜４人くらい入れる広めの大浴場あり。 中から鍵をかけて使用して良いとのことです。 なので貸切状態でゆっくり入れ、とても快適でした。 出る時は、電気を消して扉を全開にして開けておきます。 特に予約とかはないので、鍵がかかっていなければ入れる感じです。 乾燥室のような板置きもあるので、スノーシーズンには重宝します。 ハンガー掛けるところもあるので、ウェア等も乾かせます。 板のお手入れのことも伝えたら、快く延長コードを貸してもらえました 乾燥室でワックスがけもさせていただけたので良かったです。 部屋は２名用なので、広々しています。 机も仕事するには問題ない広さです。 帰りが遅くなる時は、鍵を持って出た方が良いです。 早く戻る時も持ってても良いかもです。 一度、フロントに預けて出た際に、午後早めに戻ってきましたが、呼び鈴押しても全く出てこなかった時があります。 電話もかけてみましたが、やはり出ず… 10分くらい待ってようやくエレベーターで降りてこられたので、フロントにいない場合もありです。 数日滞在でしたので、毎日清掃も入ります。 バスタオル類や歯ブラシも毎回新しいのを置いてもらえます。 乾燥室のような板置きもありです。 ハンガー掛けるところもあるので、ウェア等も乾かせます。 板のお手入れのことも伝えたら、快く延長コードを貸してもらえました。 乾燥室でワックスがけもさせていただけたので良かったです。

It is near Echigo Yuzawa Station. It is located on the side of the line of the Shinkansen and Joetsu line, and it is not a high platform, so it is not an inn to enjoy the scenery. Enter the entrance and turn left and reach the front desk. It feels like a business hotel rather than an inn. Because of the corona countermeasure, the counter at the front desk does not carry out any procedure, and it is done on the sofa. You can pass the pen and describe the inn book, but the pen is not used. There is also a lounge, but it was not open. It was a room Japanese room 10 tatami mats, but there were also 6 tatami mats like the next room, and I felt wide. The bath is on the opposite side of the front desk on the first floor. There is a slightly wet inner bath 1 and a hot open-air bath, and the Joetsu Shinkansen downhill can be seen 々. The towel is very thick, and it is not possible to use it as a hand towel, and I think it is better to bring a body towel in the room. The meal is a dining room on the second floor. It was designated as 19:30. There are waiters and waitresses, but most of them seem to be in training, and the timing of bringing food is slow, and if you don't urge again, you won't fire a pot or a pot. There was no Nakai in wafuku, and it was like a business hotel with Japanese rooms and hot springs. There were few rooms, and the bath was not crowded, and I was able to relax without worrying.

Visited hotel in Autumn Nov 23. Stayed 1 night. Room: Spacious, with 1 shower room, 1 dressing area with sink, 1 toilet room with another large sink, bedroom has a sitting area, full sized wardrobe, and 2 twin beds. The room was quiet throughout the night and we had a comfortable stay. One minor comment is that the mattresses on the bed felt old as they sagged in the middle, leaving you without back support. I slept well nevertheless Onsen: Not sure if spring water was used, but the onsen areas were large, with not just an indoor onsen but also an outdoor one, and jacuzzis in 2 forms (sitting and lying down). Very relaxing after a long drive. Breakfast: Quite a good spread with Japanese options, western options, and fruit, yoghurt w compote and juice / coffee/ tea stations. All in this was value for money for the price we paid

The hotel is about 8 minutes drive from JR Echigo Yuzawa Station. The hotel has a shuttle bus from the station to the hotel. We didn't know, and didn't call the hotel to pick up. We bought a ticket from Tokyo directly to the JR Station water station nearest to the hotel. As a result, Tokyo arrived at Echigo Yuzawa Station more than 13:00, but the car to JR Water was 15:08, so I had to wait at the station. Fortunately, when we got out of the station, it was snowing, and the children were so happy that they couldn’t care for more than an hour at the entrance of the station. Japan has a very good advantage. Don't worry about losing your luggage and throwing children. We throw the suitcase on the side of the road and play snow. The hotel has no obvious LoGo, and my homework is not enough. Baidu navigation is also not very accurate. We walked around the hotel and finally found it. Asked the owner of the rented ski prop shop next to him, he did not point to it. So I took a picture of the person who went to see it later, remember to find the signboard of Tang Yu Tang, a four-story building with a spiral staircase. Wearing snow boots and carrying a suitcase to walk on the road, there is always a melting snow water spray to the shoes feels very bad. Fortunately, the hotel service is very good. Although they are generally in English, I am generally happy to communicate. The entrance to the hotel waiter will show you what is on each floor. Rent a ski on the first floor, it can be said to be underground, the front desk is on the second floor. Special reminder that after renting the ski equipment, we don’t have to take it upstairs. We don’t know if we go to the second floor. We only know that there is a slope on the first floor. The rented skis are wearing ski boots and are directly on the slope on the first floor. The car is gone, the hotel has a car to go to the ski resort. The time to send is maneuverable and you can tell the hotel reception. Finally, we recommend the hot springs of the hotel. The hot springs have a long history and there are certificates on the walls. It is very comfortable to soak.

Our experience with Hotel Angel Grandia was excellent. From the time we made a booking until we checked out. Thank you, especially to Takeuchi San who we conversed with via email months before our stay. We requested dining arrangements that were not included in the room package that we booked with Agoda and it was perfectly arranged for our 2-night stay. Communication at times took a while to get a reply but Takeuchi San made sure he followed through with answers to my questions and every detail that needed to be arranged, including the time of the dinner. The hotel rooms were perfect. It included some bunk beds and each room differed a bit, some had separators while others didn't but the bedding was complete. There's a vending and ice machine on our floor which was excellent, and a Family Mart right in the lobby, we didn't even have to go outside. And indeed, the ski resort was just outside the hotel. They offered lockers at the back entrance to keep ski equipment. We went to Gala Yuzawa on the 2nd day to snowboard, but we were able to rent ski equipment right outside the hotel which was excellent, with no lines so it saved as a lot of time, and got a discount as a hotel resident. We were basically ready to go when we arrived at Gala Yuzawa instead of queuing up in the long lines there. We also had a chance to play in the snow area behind the hotel which was very convenient. The onsen was great. I had a chance to go to both onsens, one smaller and cozier one and another bigger one, both had indoor and outdoor pools with different water temperatures. It wasn't crowded at all when I went at night. The staff was friendly, their English was not perfect but enough to communicate well with us. There was a slight problem with billing but they were able to resolve it the same day. Overall, we were very happy with the hotel and the service. Having said that we had some issues with Agoda regarding the 3 kids that we got confirmation for. And some limitations of their system required us to advance some amount to the hotel, which Agoda eventually refunded to us. Agoda should improve their system as this was their issue, they should not have inconvenienced the customer in the first place. I would have booked direct with the hotel but didn't find their website that easy to understand for international guests. I would definitely return to this hotel if given the chance to visit the Yuzawa area again in the future. We definitely experienced the local hospitality here.

It was used during the 2022 Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale. The main building, where the lobby is located, is an old private house built in the Meiji period and has been designated as a registered tangible cultural property. This modern Japanese-style hotel has been recognized as a three-star hotel in the Michelin Guide Niigata 2020. The calculated space design has a sense of overkill, but it is calming. I stayed in Classic C-type Room 305 (Komatsu), a twin bed placed on a 10 tatami mat, a space next to 4.5 tatami mats and 3 tatami mats, and a reading space facing the front. It was a bit too large for a couple, but the 3 tatami mats were occupied by chairs and were a little inconvenient. Dinner is a full-course meal called ”Snow Country Gastronomy” based on ingredients and traditional dishes that have been eaten in the snow country for generations. Although the taste was above the level, there was no dish that left an impression with the orthodox menu structure. Although it is a different world once you pass through the gate, it is close to the city area and is along National Route 291, which runs parallel to the Uonuma River, so the location is not very environmentally friendly. It's not bad if you decide to stay home.

There is a slope in front of you and the best location. This time, I used a plan with a ski lift ticket, so it was very good value. The room was a long time ago, but there is no problem because it only sleeps after skiing. The gondola from Naeba Ski Resort to the next Kagura Ski Resort was wonderful. However, it was difficult to have a balanced meal because it was an accommodation plan without meals. Since it was a weekday, there were many restaurants on holidays, and I felt that every restaurant was generally more valuable than the quality. There are two large communal baths, but one of the men's baths was under repair and could not be used, and the only underground large communal bath that was available was incredibly far away. Also, it was dark and lacking in cleanliness, probably because it wasn't cleaned very well, so I didn't want to enter twice. I think it would be difficult to stay unless it was for skiing purposes.
