Breakfast offers a good variety to choose from, and the late-night snacks were also quite good. I immediately canceled our reservations at other hotels and decided to stay here for our entire trip. "Booking the Qiuguo Hotel (Central Street Songhua River Branch) was the smartest decision I made on my trip to Harbin! I was genuinely impressed by its location – absolutely the top choice for anyone visiting Harbin, as it perfectly solves all travel inconveniences. The hotel is situated in the prime, core area of Central Street, an unbeatable location. It's right at the intersection of Da'an Street and Central Street. You can step out and walk less than a hundred meters to reach the famous cobblestone pedestrian street of Central Street. No need to wake up early or rush for taxis; you can just walk out anytime to explore European-style old streets, visit Russian architecture, and easily buy Madier popsicles and Qiulin red sausages, fully immersing yourself in the vibrant local life and exotic atmosphere of the 'Ice City'. Transportation is incredibly convenient. It's very close to Exit 1 of Central Street Station on Metro Line 2, just a few minutes' walk with luggage, making it super easy to get to various scenic spots or transfer to other lines. It's also near Harbin Railway Station, making short trips efficient and stress-free, completely eliminating worries about traffic jams or long commutes. All major attractions are within walking distance. In about ten minutes, you can reach the Flood Control Memorial Tower and the banks of the Songhua River. In summer, you can stroll along the river, enjoy the evening breeze, and take a boat ride to admire the river views. In winter, you can directly access various ice and snow activities. St. Sophia Cathedral is within a fifteen-minute walk, allowing you to easily visit this popular landmark, saving a lot of travel time and leaving more time for enjoyment. Downstairs and around the hotel, there's a complete range of restaurants, specialty snacks, supermarkets, and convenience stores, making it super easy to find meals and buy supplies. This excellent city center location perfectly balances sightseeing, transportation, and dining, offering incredible value for money for independent travelers. I genuinely can't fault the location; next time I visit Harbin, I will definitely prioritize staying at this Qiuguo Hotel again!"

"The hotel price was very reasonable, and the front desk gave me a free upgrade. Its location is fantastic, right downstairs from Central Street. There's a Line 2 subway station nearby, making it convenient to get to the museum and Sun Island. Since it's a heritage-protected building, there's no restaurant, but the hotel thoughtfully provided a packed breakfast. The front desk also stored my luggage for free, which was a huge help. The room had a lovely fragrant smell, and the environment was excellent. There are two very large Matryoshka dolls at the front desk and downstairs. Downstairs, there's also a souvenir shop. Walking from the entrance of Central Street all the way to the riverside, there are so many snacks, delicious food, and shopping experiences, plus you see quite a few foreigners. Overall, this hotel left a deep impression on me. It's right at the entrance of Central Street. I decisively extended my stay for another night because the room truly has a great environment, complete facilities, plenty of hot water, and 24-hour front desk service. For just over 100 RMB, it's incredibly good value for money. I really love it here and will recommend it to my friends."
