"It was my first ryokan experience and the best lodging experience.
The semi-open-air bath inside the room and the family bath outside can be temperature-controlled, and it was nice that I could use them freely whenever I wanted.
The course meal served for dinner and breakfast were all brought to the room. The taste was also good, and the course meal for dinner was especially delicious.
They also set up the bedding for me.
The staff were so kind that I thought they were overly kind.
It was really good! I would visit again."

"I was worried because there weren't many Korean reviews recently. This was my first trip to Japan, and I really wanted to go to Beppu, but I was worried about where to stay. I booked this accommodation after looking at the photos of the interior without even looking at the location, but when I made the reservation, it turned out that it was located a bit far away from the downtown area! However, since the purpose of going to Beppu was the hot springs, I felt it was a great advantage to be able to use the hot springs within walking distance from my accommodation.
The accommodation is really clean and cozy, but also spacious and comfortable! The bed was so soft that I slept well until morning without waking up even once! Also, they say it is difficult because the accommodation is on a hill, but since the trip is a series of walks anyway, I was able to experience the Japanese countryside and it was really nice! ā„ And thanks to the host who kindly guided me, I felt really good!
If I go on a trip to Fukuoka, I will definitely go to Beppu again, and I intend to visit this accommodation again! Thank you so much for giving me happy memories :-)"

Amazing
MM224587****This hotel was truly the highlight of my trip to Japan. Nestled on the hillside, the views from the window are breathtaking, especially from the infinity pool where you can overlook most of Beppu. It gives you a sense of serene detachment from the urban clamor, as if you're uniquely clear-headed amidst a busy world. During our stay, there were occasional showers, and after the rain, the mountains would often become shrouded in mist, making the landscape incredibly dynamic ā sometimes clear and picturesque, other times beautifully hazy and ethereal.
The hotel's hot springs (onsen) are another major feature. The male and female baths are separate, ensuring privacy, and each has its own outdoor bath. What's more, the male and female sections switch over daily, so if you stay two nights, you get to experience both unique bath areas. The hotel also provides guests with traditional Japanese yukata robes and geta (wooden clogs).
Regarding transportation, since the hotel is on a hillside, they offer a shuttle bus. However, it's small with limited seating, so reservations are essential. What's fantastic is that if you can't reserve a spot, the hotel *provides a taxi free of charge*. Let me emphasize that: free, free, free! So, the only potential inconvenience of staying here is perfectly addressed.
While the standard breakfast selection is decent, they also have a 'hidden menu' ā definitely ask for it!

GGuest UserIt was a very clean hotel and I had a comfortable stay.
The staff were very attentive and helpful in responding to each of my requests. They were also very kind to my children.
Once you've stayed here, you'll definitely want to return.
I've stayed here many times, and each time a new wing is built, it's always evolving in a good way.
The buffet (with all-you-can-drink alcohol) and hot springs are the best!
LLamāsHotel facilities, environment, service attitude, food,
They are all over five stars.
The only drawback is that the location is not very convenient.
Because it takes 6 to 10 minutes to walk from the station.
Would more recommend self-drive tour more convenient!
If you would choose one night two meals,
I really have to solemnly explain to everyone.
Request at Gahama's own Japanese restaurant. Kappo Matsuhide.
This Japanese restaurant is super delicious, the service attitude is super good!
And the other building. Harumi. Japanese cuisine. Xuan. really bad
The staff service attitude is very good, but eat more hastily.
The food cooking tastes also relatively poor! Choose carefully!
GGuest UserThe hotel building is artistic designed, staff are super helpful and friendly, and fusion dishes at the Peak restaurant are excellent. The environment and surrounding are very pleasant but donāt expect convenience stores nearby.Ā
The only negative thing is they have onsen built in the room. When first stepped into the bedroom, thereās a strong smell of sulfur. The hotel probably wants to address it by having good ventilation such as air freshener machine prior to check in otherwise guests would get the wrong impression of poor/dirty drainage.
GGuest UserThe hotel is nice, clean and hygienic, suitable for young people. The price is affordable. There are free hot springs nearby for the three days of New Year. It is only a seven- to eight-minute walk from Beppu Station. There is something to find on Baidu Maps. The owner is Chinese and very enthusiastic. Easy to find with Google Maps
