"This was one of the best value-for-money accommodations during my entire trip. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options. As long as you're willing to wait, you can pretty much enjoy every private hot spring. My favorite private hot spring was Guanhaisi (Watching the Sea Temple) because it offered the best views. What's even more commendable is their free noodles in the evening; they were much tastier than many paid options outside (if you don't have a specific dinner spot in mind locally, I highly recommend eating at the hotel. It was far better than the trendy BBQ places I sought out from Xiaohongshu!). Oh, and the hotel has an incredibly high 'Korean content' – it felt like I was in Korea!"

"The room and the Onsen were EXACTLY like those in the listing and were absolutely stunning! The breakfast was delicious and the range more than adequate. The location is good if you drive but is about 1km walk to Beppu Tower and a bit more from the night street. But I’d happily trade that for the spacious room and the wonderful sea and sunrise view."

A modern Japanese inn whose guestrooms are all detached and feature their own hot spring baths; perfect for room-only accommodation during your vacation in Beppu

"Everything was perfect. The location is perfect, right next to the Kawasaki bus stop. The Toyonokuni Expressway Bus makes traveling between Fukuoka Airport and Hakata Tenjin easy, much more convenient than taking the JR train. There are quite a few restaurants nearby, including a large 7-Eleven across the street and a supermarket about 700 to 800 meters away. The overall ambiance is classic Japanese, quiet and peaceful. The rooms are all single-family houses. Although the room we were assigned was slightly different from what I had seen when booking, with only a semi-open-air onsen, we were traveling with just my daughter and me, so one onsen was more than enough. The staff was very friendly and provided detailed information. The only downside was that there was a light-transmitting window above my bed, with no curtains, which caused me to wake up early every morning. However, this wasn't a big deal for me, so I give it a full rating. Highly recommended!"
