Amazing
XXiaolizi1972It's a historic hotel with a hot spring culture. Located on a mountain, it's inaccessible by public transportation; a taxi from the station costs around 100 RMB, but calling a taxi is convenient. The hotel has three private hot springs, marked with round signs outside. You can enter when you see an empty one, but there will be someone inside. Most rooms have private hot springs, and they are very nice. It's best to book a room with a private hot spring, as the other rooms are quite basic and not as refined as those around Mount Fuji. The cleanliness is also just average; the tables were dusty. Dinner is Japanese cuisine, beautiful and delicious, with fresh ingredients. Prices have increased significantly during the National Day holiday; the usual price of around 3000 RMB is quite good.
AAnnaTsangHana Beppu Stay is clean, comfortable, and incredibly relaxing. The rooms are modern with a cozy touch, and the onsen is a perfect bonus. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient yet peaceful. A great place to stay—I’d definitely return!
MM502128****This was my second stay here because I had such a good experience the first time, mainly due to the great value for money. The room was quite spacious, and it seems the hotel has been renovated in recent years, as it was clean and tidy. Although both breakfast and dinner were buffets, the quality was good. For breakfast, I made myself a lavish seafood rice bowl with plenty of fish roe! The hot springs were also nice; I went straight for the outdoor pool.
焦焦糖小布丁This hotel is absolutely fantastic, with a trendy design. It's clean and comfortable. Each room is a standalone villa with an amazing sea view, so you wake up to the ocean. Plus, it's right next to the sand bathing beach, super convenient!
LLeeI stayed with my family during our trip to Beppu, and it exceeded all my expectations. We wanted to experience a traditional-style Ryokan, and this was the perfect choice. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring that everything was well managed.
One of the highlights was the ability to reserve a private bath, which made the experience even more relaxing. The breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere was peaceful and calm, making it an ideal place to rest and unwind.
The location is also convenient—just a 7-10 minute taxi ride from Beppu Station. I highly recommend this Ryokan to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing stay in Beppu!
GGuest UserThe room was spacious, and the mountain view was quite nice on a clear day. The drinks at the dinner buffet were very satisfying, the food selection was average, with snow crab available seasonally, although the steak was of slightly subpar quality.

GGuest UserHands down my favorite hotel in Beppu! I was worried the standard room wouldn't compare to the open-air bath room, which was fully booked for my first night. But to my surprise, they put me in a corner suite on the top floor with an ocean view for my first night's standard room! The service was impeccably good – just the right amount of warmth, and they were incredibly accommodating. The value for money is truly unbeatable. It was far more satisfying than the Kai and Seikai hotels I'd stayed at in Beppu before (and this one was less than half the price!). So sometimes, a higher price doesn't necessarily mean better quality – you really have to experience it for yourself. Breakfast was just okay, but filling, and dinner was incredibly generous and delicious 🤤
YYuki UyangaThis spacious accommodation is ideal for a family getaway with several members. It was tidy and cozy, making it a pleasant place to stay with my kids. The highlight was the garden outside and the large windows that let in the morning sun, creating a lovely atmosphere for breakfast while gazing outside. Unfortunately, the hot spring was out of order when we got there, but it appeared to be large enough for two people to enjoy. I was initially concerned that the size of the apartment would make it chilly upon arrival, but the heating system was effective, and the place warmed up quickly.
GGuest UserIt is an old ryokan.
The bathroom also needs to be equipped with hot and cold water.
The size of the room is satisfactory.
It's very cold, but you can control the heater.
Although it is a weekend, the price is too expensive and you have to pay a 1000 yen hot spring tax even if you do not use the hot spring when you check out.
