The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, and they even provided three bottles of water. The best part is its location; it's right across from King's Cross Station (don't follow GPS, it takes a longer route), connecting to both the Underground and Eurostar. The building itself is over a hundred years old, full of history, and has a particularly photogenic staircase – very British! Breakfast was plentiful, but it's not a buffet, so be sure to check the menu.

The room facilities were excellent, the aesthetics were great, the environment was comfortable, and the service was superb, especially the staff at the front desk.

The location was also convenient, with a pleasant surrounding neighborhood. It was safe and tranquil.

The staff's service attitude and competence were generally very good. However, the staff at the breakfast restaurant could need improvement.

The service staff in other areas were all fantastic. One of the front desk staff members, an African American man, was particularly warm, friendly, and responsible. He helped my child print documents late at night, thoughtfully provided stationery, and even offered the second-floor art lounge area free of charge for guests to use for working, studying, or reading late at night.

In short, I would definitely stay here again.

This is by far one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The service from the staff was incredible, so thoughtful and kind. The room wasn’t ready for check in time unfortunately. The hotel is beautifully designed. I will definitely be back.

My stay started off reasonably well, but the second night turned into a very frustrating experience.
After my first night (booked via Marriott APP), I decided to extend my stay via Trip.com (which resulted in being assigned a different room), as overall the hotel seemed acceptable, though there were some minor issues in the room — for example, the faucet was loose, and the toilet made noise when sitting on it (to the point where I was slightly concerned it might not be properly secured). Breakfast was à la carte and tasted decent.
However, the second night was extremely unpleasant.
When I was about to go to sleep, I noticed black marks/stains on the bed sheets, which made me uncomfortable. I called the front desk, and was told that housekeeping had already finished for the day, so there was no one available to change the bedding and no immediate solution offered.
When I asked what could be done, I was told that clean sheets could be brought to me — which implied that I would have to change them myself. Only after I questioned this did the staff offer to move me to another room.
Shortly after, the staff came to my room and informed me that I would need to pack all my belongings and move to another room on a different floor immediately. I was also told that I could not leave my belongings in the original room. As she was the only staff member on duty, I had to handle all packing and moving myself.
This happened at around 2:00 AM.
I was genuinely shocked. Based on my past experiences with Marriott International hotels, the usual approach in such situations is to allow the guest to move to a new room to rest first, and pack belongings the next morning — especially at such a late hour.
What concerned me most was not just the inconvenience, but the response. When I tried to explain why this arrangement was unreasonable, the staff focused solely on the fact that she was the only person on duty, rather than acknowledging the impact on the guest.
The following morning at checkout, I raised this issue with the front desk. I received a rather expressionless apology, along with an explanation that she belive it was a “miscommunication.” This response felt dismissive and failed to address the core problem.
Obviously, there are issues in:
	•	Hotel management (only one staff member on duty overnight)
	•	Service policies (no proper solution when basic room issues occur)
	•	Staff training (lack of customer-oriented problem handling)

Top class hotel and lovely room 

Only downside was they no longer do the Executive Lounge which was a lovely touch to chill outside of the room and enjoy a nice ambience. One of the reasons I booked. Was disappointing to find was no longer a thing

The location is fantastic, with Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Kensington (where the Changing of the Guards takes place), Hyde Park, the National Gallery, Chinatown, and Victoria Station all within a 20-minute walk. St. James's Park Underground Station is a three-minute walk away, and there are also shops and dining options nearby. The service is excellent, with a daily happy hour offering free drinks and snacks (which vary daily), and performances on Fridays. The room was spacious and perfectly accommodated our family of three. The hotel restaurant is a bit pricey, but the food was excellent.

A large number of mirrors are used throughout the room to create a sense of space. Unfortunately, all the mirrors except the bathroom have many stains. The water pressure in the bath is very low and thinner than the faucet, which is very dissatisfying.

The location of the hotel is very close to the bank subway station, and it is convenient to travel. The surrounding supermarkets, bars, Chinese restaurants, and pharmacies are very complete. The lobby of the hotel is gorgeously decorated, and the hotel was remodeled from the former headquarters building of the Bank of London. The front desk service is good, but the breakfast restaurant service is extremely poor! After ordering breakfast on the first day, it was delayed. After waiting for nearly an hour, when I asked the waiter, he said that the customer hadn't ordered yet? ! Go to breakfast at 10 o'clock on the fourth day, and it is said that it is closed after time! When checking in, the time told by the front desk is 10:30! It's inexplicable! ! !

It was a really great stay. Grace and Mihail were very accommodating and the service was excellent. The location of the hotel is recommended as it is very central.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The location is excellent, really close to Dubai Mall. The only downside is the traffic during peak hours, but otherwise, it's perfect. The views and scenery are incredible, very Dubai-esque.

The hotel environment is super comfortable! The rooms are clean, and the service is great. The front desk staff are all very nice. There are also excellent restaurants and a fantastic pool inside the hotel. All in all, I really love this place. Highly recommended! Thumbs up~

Excellent hotel, in an excellent location. Very nice rooms. Beautiful pool on the 3rd floor. Quite nice territory and a good beach. There are also disadvantages - there is construction near the pool on the street. Not noisy, not dusty, does not particularly interfere. But the sight of the crane certainly does not win. There are many activities on the beach, so there is always quite loud music. Lovers of a quiet holiday may not like it. Otherwise, great.

Helped to arrange the room, Nour at the front desk is great, next to the city walk, very convenient

The hotel itself is fine, but the location is terrible. Taking a taxi to the nearest metro station costs 70 PLN, which is a waste of time and extra money. Breakfast is overpriced for the quality; the coffee is undrinkable, absolutely the worst. The rooms are clean, though when I booked a 'luxury room,' I expected a view other than a highway (especially since the photos looked different). Overall, I recommend choosing a hotel much closer to the metro, as you'll save time and money – a taxi for just 5 km is incredibly expensive here.

I'd like to outline the pros and cons of my stay at this hotel. ^^

**Pros:**
① Free admission tickets to Legoland Water Park + one of the following: Legoland, Riverland Park, or Real Madrid Park.
② The parks are adjacent to the hotel, so you can walk there.
③ The hotel has a small pool and a grassy area for a bit of exercise (there's a small soccer goal, and my child enjoyed playing soccer there).
④ There's a kids' club where hotel staff organize hourly programs. This means you can drop off your children there (my younger son even got a temporary tattoo, as shown in the photo. Surprisingly, there were also two PS5s, which were very popular).
⑤ There are three restaurants within the hotel, so you can have all your meals there.
⑥ The overall vibe is very similar to Aulani Resort in Hawaii, with Hawaiian-inspired decor and music playing.

**Cons:**
① It's located far from Dubai city center, so you'll primarily be spending your time at the hotel and the parks.
② Absolutely no Middle Eastern feel.

Very nice newer hotel. Service was ok. Security arrived quickly to reset the safe, though the maintenance staff couldn't fix my dripping shower faucet. They showed up right away, misdiagnosed the problem and said it would stop over time. It didn't. When I notified the front desk the next morning, they assured me that maintenance would be there to fix it. They never showed up again. Three days of hearing a dripping shower faucet...
Oh yeah, and don't get a room on the second floor near the fitness center. Gyms bros too weak to properly put down dumbbells. *****s letting them drop and thus rattling everything on the floor at all hours of the day and night.

The hotel facilities are perfect and clean, except for the order details that need to be marked with breakfast (including breakfast: 20 USD for breakfast), everything else is very good👍

This is not my first time here , I used to be very nicer when it was Thompson , now the service is very bad specially, the guy who fill out the bar inside the rooms he’s very very rude .

Brand new hotel.
Recently renovated. Walking distance both from Arena and from.Sradium

Nice hotel apartment, across from Civic Center station with underground parking. Very good service from front desk staff. A lovely space with coloring area in the lobby, restaurant are precursor to the apartment: full kitchen, living room, dining area, two tvs, balcony and bedroom, kind of classic Marriott style. But unlike Marriott there were no extra towels, bathrobes, slippers or toiletries beyond soap and shower cap. 

The restaurant hours on the key are incorrect. The restaurant closes at 930pm although front desk said only the kitchen closes at 945pm. Anyway the mix up led to none of our interactions with the reticent restaurant's staff for room service. The restaurant takes a daily siesta too, though the key says weekends only. The 12 doesn't let Door Dash come to the apartment, only the lobby. However, 12 Staff will deliver if anyone's available; otherwise you have to go to the lobby.  

All in all, it was a very pleasant stay.
