We stayed for 5 nights and really liked the location. It’s about a 5-minute walk to the station and nearby supermarkets, and Checkpoint Charlie is just around the corner. The WiFi worked well, the shower had hot water, and there was enough space for my luggage. Overall, everything was convenient and comfortable, with nothing to complain about.

A really nice and clean hotel with well-appointed rooms, and the small kitchenette with a fridge is a perfect addition.

The location right near Checkpoint Charlie is superb. There are small cafes around, as well as McDonald's and KFC where you can eat relatively cheaply.

The room cleaning wasn't great because we seemed to always be in the room at the wrong time. The one time out of three days that the room was cleaned, the trash cans unfortunately weren't emptied.

Did all I needed, room was comfortable and we'll serviced. Room rates very competitive. Location was fine (S-Bahn station right outside & train only 20 minutes to central Berlin) Also the local suburb of Spandau was a vibrant area.
Would definitely consider Hotel Garner if visiting Berlin again. Views from the restaurant were stunning (also from my room, but got lucky being on the 15th floor!)
Bar & snack area in the foyer was perhaps a little limited, but this is a place to stay - not a social hub - so that's not a major concern. 
In short: friendly, comfortable, clean and easily accessible by public transport.  Good place.

An excellent hotel for the price. If you plan to explore the area on foot, this is the ideal choice. It is close to the train station, conveniently located, and features nice rooms. For Europe, the price is very affordable. You can book with confidence—I highly recommend it for a comfortable stay. You just need to go by walk. A lot of great places you can see just go walk around the hotel.

I really had a lovely stay at this hotel. The receptionist was so nice and accommodating. I truly never had such an amazing experience before. The room itself was very clean and modern. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again for my future trips in Berlin. The location is also great if you don’t mind walking a bit to get to the bus or underground station. ￼￼

I highly recommend this hotel; the breakfasts are excellent, and the metro station is nearby!
The only thing is the room is very small, really small!
The receptionists were great, they were always helpful with anything! The breakfast staff were also great, everyone was very efficient!
When we ran out of food, they refilled it quickly!

The staff were friendly and very helpful and the hotel is conveniently located near to a subway station. The hotel room was relatively no-frills but had all the essentials. The lift in the hotel is a bit small so that might be problematic for travellers with larger suitcases.

The location is fantastic in my opinion! There are good connections to the subway and commuter rail, and the bus stop is just around the corner. Buses run every 20 minutes. The food at the hotel is good for the price.

The reception staff is very friendly.

The room was clean, except for the dusty windowsill, hence only 4 stars for cleanliness.

I can't comment on breakfast, as we didn't have it.

Otherwise, we are very satisfied with the hotel. So, for the price, it's excellent!

This is a no frills hotel good for staying a couple of nights. It is quite expensive for what it actually is, but it was among the cheapest options I coule find when booking. Perhaps that's the price standard in Hamburg. The room looked a bit dated but it was quite spacious compared to other hotels in Europe. The location is great, close to the city centre and train station. However, you do see a lot of weird people wandering around the area near the hotel. I did not have any issues, but I would recommend staying vigilant. Breakfast is basic, but at least it is included so you won't leave hungry in the morning.

The hotel is a little old. It’s located across from the train station. It is easy to walk around the city or take the trains to other nearby towns. The breakfast selection is not the best but it seems that we had no choice. The room is clean but the shower is a little old with some stains.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location was excellent, with a metro station just a short walk away, making it very convenient to get around the city. The hotel was clean and well-maintained throughout my stay.

The only downside was that there was no refrigerator in the room, which would have been a useful addition. However, the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made the overall experience more enjoyable.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its great location, cleanliness, and helpful staff.

Environment: The hotel is about a nine-minute walk to the nearest subway station, which is two stops away from Namba.

Service: It was raining on the day of check-in, and they offered free umbrella rentals. The front desk staff were warm, polite, and helpful.

The lobby had toiletries, bathrobes, a coffee machine, and water available.

Cleanliness: Perfect score.

The room size isn't very large, so it might not be ideal if you have a lot of luggage. It's perfectly fine for a solo traveler, though.

The room was quite spacious and the location was convenient for getting around. It's a shame I was rushing and didn't get to try the breakfast. The hygiene was good, and the soundproofing was excellent. Plus, there was complimentary water. I'd definitely consider staying here again.

The room had enough space for the two of us, which can be hard to find in Japan. The bed was very comfortable, and the hotel was conveniently located just a 7–12 minute walk from the nearest station entrances, making it easy to get around Osaka.

We also appreciated the complimentary water and snacks, which were a nice touch after a long day of exploring. The reception staff were always polite, friendly, and very accommodating to our needs throughout our stay.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. If we visit Osaka in the future, Garner Hotel will be our first choice.
