The environment is great, very clean, and convenient for shopping with the subway nearby. You can also enjoy the hot springs, which have a subtle herbal scent and are very soothing. After soaking, there are delicious ice cream and Yakult available. The facilities are decent, and the room is quite spacious. The service is good, and you can store your luggage for free.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station Exit 35. From Haneda Airport, you can take a bus directly to the Sunshine City bus stop.

The hotel staff, including the front desk and restaurant, were all excellent. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. On the 15th floor, there's a hot spring bath, with Yakult available in the mornings and ice cream in the evenings. The ice cream was really good – on our first day, we foolishly bought ice cream at the supermarket, but after that, we just waited for the complimentary evening ice cream! Oh, and there's free ramen available after 9:30 PM.

Everything was great, apart from the small room size.

I enjoy the stay. Great location and acceptable price.  Breakfast wise, just a bit weak. However is enough to fill up the stomach.  I will stay here again for the location purposes

This is hands down the best value-for-money hotel I've ever stayed at. The room, while not huge, was incredibly clean. I really appreciated the thoughtful detail of having an entryway partition door, which really helped with privacy.

The hotel service was also excellent. The complimentary hot spring access is a definite plus. Tsubaki-no-Yu (Tsubaki Hot Spring) is free for guests and open both in the morning and evening.

The complimentary Yonaki Soba (night-time ramen) was a lifesaver; it was such a thoughtful touch for anyone who gets hungry late at night. Plus, there's a self-service drink bar with tea, coffee, and juice. And in the morning, they offer free Yakult (lactic acid drink). After a hot spring dip, you can even grab a free ice cream, which was perfect for those late-night cravings. I'd often pop up to the 11th floor for one. They really go above and beyond!

They also provide free yukata (Japanese robes) in the room. All in all, the value for money here is outstanding. I'll definitely book this place again on my next trip to Tokyo.

The room is perfect for 1-2 persons. However, there might be no enough for 2 big luggage. Love the onsen amenities and ice-cream after onsen. Google Map recommended to walk from Shibuya station but walking from Harajuku station is easier.

the location is close to ueno skyliner and also tokyso station. it is good option for staying after landing and traveling shinkansen the next day. It has reading desk at the shared area of the top floor！ the onsen is always nice！ it is close to game center at Arihabara and Kanda Myoisin Shrine

Service: Extremely satisfied. First off, this isn't a hotel that offers Chinese-speaking services, but the Japanese staff were incredibly kind. Even with my broken middle school English and a translation app, we managed to communicate. When I entered, the handsome guy at the front desk immediately hoisted my large suitcase onto his shoulder and carried it up to the second floor for me, and another young man helped me with check-in. Of course, as I mentioned at the beginning, this isn't a hotel with Chinese service. Initially, I couldn't find the entrance, and there was no front desk on the first floor. When I called, the staff only spoke Japanese. I asked, 'Can you speak English?' and the front desk replied, 'No, I can't speak English...' 😂 Being in a new country for the first time almost worried me to death. However, once check-in was sorted, it was all wonderful experiences. 

Food: Absolutely fantastic. The main reason I booked this hotel was its reputation for high-standard and authentic Japanese buffets. Staying here meant I didn't have to stress about finding different local specialties every day. The breakfast buffet filled me up so much that I wasn't hungry at lunchtime 😂, and there were even late-night ramen noodles, which was excellent! I highly recommend booking the breakfast-inclusive package. 

Facilities: The room was too small. As soon as I entered, I felt a bit unlucky. There wasn't enough space to turn around once my suitcase was in, and the shower room was tiny too. My child bumped their head while showering and started crying. Everything else was fine though; it was clean, and the toilet was a smart one.

I want to thank this hotel and all the ordinary Japanese people I met on this trip for making me feel welcomed and happy.

The room was a bit small, and there was some noise at night. Breakfast was filling, not a huge variety but all the basics were there. The location is very convenient, with a supermarket and the Ginza Line subway station right outside. It's about a 10-minute walk to attractions and shopping malls, so it's not overly crowded. I mainly stayed multiple nights to enjoy the foot bath daily. The large public bath on the rooftop, with its sauna and open-air hot spring, was really comfortable. It was great for rejuvenating every day. I even went up after breakfast one morning, had a Yakult, read some manga, and then went back to sleep. 

Facilities: Honestly, it's pretty average. Among the Dormy Inn hotels I've stayed at, this one is not great; it's quite old and worn.
Cleanliness: Since it's an older hotel, the conditions aren't particularly good.
Service: There's basically no service, though the rooftop terrace has a bit of a unique touch.
Also, the hot spring has separate times for men and women, which can be a bit inconvenient when you want to use it.
However, being able to see the Skytree is a nice bonus.

I had a fantastic stay at Dormy Inn Korakuen! The hotel is impeccably clean and the staff were incredibly helpful. The highlight was definitely the hot spring—it was so relaxing after a long day of exploring. I also loved the signature free late-night ramen and the ice cream/probiotic drinks after the bath. Great value for money and highly recommended!

This hotel is considered a premium property within the Dommy Inn group. You take off your shoes upon entering, and the room is quite spacious, comfortable, and cozy, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. You can change into the room's yukata for dinner or to use the hot springs. They offer late-night ramen and complimentary cold drinks, including Yakult, after your bath. I stayed for three nights, and coming back from the cold outdoors truly felt like returning home – comfortable and relaxing.

This hotel is located about 15mins walk away from Nakanosakae Station and 10mins walk away from Sendai Aquarium. Mitsui Outlet is also conveniently about 10mins walk away.

Check in can be a chore as it is self service but the staffs are available to help with the information required. Other than that, the hotel is awesome!

Breakfast has a huge spread, especially with the Salmon and Tuna Sashimi to make your own don. After your onsen bath, there is ice popsicle at night and lactic drink in the morning. The hotel also provides their late night Soyu Soba for free if you are hungry.  Other than this, there is a comic library to pass your time. Room size is decent. Enjoyed my stay here for 2 nights.

the location is good as it takes only 10 mins walk from the Sendai JR Station.  Breakfast food provides a lot of choices including the famous Zunda-mochi.  You may not need to queue up at Sendai Asaichi Morning Market for Zundai mochi.  Curry beef tongue is cooked very soft and tasty.  Free ramen, Yukult, ice cream stick is provided in different time slot.  You may eat over 1 bowl of Ramen if you can during 9:30pm to 11pm every night.   Free washing machine is provided inside the onsen.  Spacious room that allows 30” luggage case to open.
Sendai is worth to visit again.

Free soba and hot onsen on night really appetizing during winter. Full facilities such as laundry, free ice cream, and enjoy comic lounge. Breakfast like a local. Surely would come again in the next trip⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The location is very convenient as it is above a subway station and close to Kokubuncho.
The breakfast was also sumptuous, and the beef tongue croquettes and beef tongue curry were delicious.

Location of this hotel is insane, the service is good, the hotel lobby can connect to Lawson without going out to the street. But! I think Namba is a little bit chaos, normally I always stayed at Yodoyabashi, Shin Osaka and Umeda district, I think these three districts are quieter, I stayed here and hear 🚨 every night which effect my sleep quality. Anyway, the onsen is very relax and natural, and there are plenty of ice creams for free, night time ramen for free, and two massage bed for free (lots of people queues here, so be hurry!). And the room has some brown watermark on the wall so not much clean, but don’t expect much because it’s budget hotel, with all these free amenity I appreciate it so much and I couldn’t complain much. Thanks

The hotel's location is excellent, conveniently accessible from either Nippombashi or Nagahoribashi subway stations. The best option is Exit 10 at Nippombashi Station, which has an elevator – perfect if you have heavy luggage and want to avoid stairs. Dotonbori is right across the street from the hotel, and Shinsaibashi is also very close, making shopping incredibly convenient. You can even walk to Namba Station, though it's a bit further, where you'll find Takashimaya department store, which is great for browsing. The hotel has a hot spring bath, which is popular with Korean guests, and offers unlimited ice cream and Yakult! The front desk staff are warm and polite, and some even speak Chinese. There's a FamilyMart convenience store downstairs, making it super easy to grab snacks. The hotel breakfast is bountiful, and the cleanliness is impeccable. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The hotel service was very attentive, and all the staff were incredibly friendly. The free hot springs and ramen every night were the absolute highlights, along with complimentary popsicles and drinks – these thoughtful details truly made us feel welcome. The room was clean and comfortable; it was an almost perfect stay!
