The hotel has a ladies-only floor, which is very quiet and thoughtfully equipped with many toiletries, including face masks and skincare products. There's also a FamilyMart convenience store on the first floor, which is super convenient.

The hotel entrance is also where the airport limousine bus stops. However, buses heading to Haneda Airport need to stop at the Shinjuku Bus Terminal for ticket checks after picking up passengers from all hotel stops. It takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes from the hotel to Haneda T3, but the actual journey from Shinjuku Bus Terminal to the airport is only 40 minutes; the first hour is just spent picking up other passengers.

It's a 10-minute walk from the hotel to Shinjuku Station at a normal pace for a woman.

Every time I visit Tokyo, I choose a hotel near Shinjuku Station. Although this hotel's facilities show some age, they are well-maintained. Considering its excellent location, it offers great value for money. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

Staying in a tatami room was a new experience! My only minor quibble was the TV being on the side of the bed, which felt a bit unusual. Otherwise, everything was super comfortable. This is the closest hotel to the exhibition center, and I've been staying here for years. The staff are always incredibly helpful, quick to answer questions and resolve any issues. And the breakfast? Consistently amazing!

The Washington Hotel Annex is actually a separate building, with a dedicated landmark on the ground floor of the main hotel. It's easy to find by following the signs. The annex is next to the main building and is considerably quieter. The front desk is on the second floor, where you can check in yourself or with staff assistance. The hotel boasts excellent facilities, an elegant atmosphere, and generously sized rooms with attentive service. The lobby offers complimentary items like facial masks, cosmetics, and toothbrushes, and services such as luggage storage, a laundry room, and microwaves.  There's an airport shuttle bus stop right downstairs, but tickets need to be purchased in advance. You can buy them on the first floor of the main building or by scanning a QR code at the bus stop – Alipay and WeChat are not accepted, only cash or bank cards.  The hotel is surrounded by numerous restaurants and supermarkets, making it very convenient.  It's also very close to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, where you can enjoy a free sunset view from the observation deck in the evening, as well as a beautiful light show.  The room lighting isn't very bright, and the bedside lamp takes a while to turn on after pressing the button.  The hotel is a bit of a distance from the subway and train stations.

This hotel is turning out to be my go-to as it is my second time staying there out of my 3 times visiting Tokyo. Very conveniently located, just a short 2 stops away from Tokyo station, and at the mouth of the vibrant and exciting Akihabara Electric Town, it was a cozy home away from home. This time round though, I was assigned a room on the 3rd floor, just off the reception and I was afraid that it would be noisy, but it was well off the main area so it was still fairly well contained. Room was as usual, cozy and comfortable and had a bigger desk area than my previous stay. Walking distance to Aikihabara, and many abd eateries, kobinis, and a minute away to Akihabara Station, really the location takes the cake. Nothing much negative to say, and definitely will be top of the list for subsequent Tokyo visits!

The room is still relatively large. It is quite close to Lichuan Station. The room is very clean. The surrounding is quiet but the cloth is remote. There is no bear. It is just that the lobby is on the 3rd floor. It is not easy to find. It is recommended to Google Maps.

You won’t have to be worried even if it’s snowing or raining.

A side note to travellers from the hotter climate, the hotel doesn’t supply air conditioning during winter. Instead it has a small webbed facility that allows outside air to flow into the room. This slight chills the room. However during the day, the room will be super hot.

Initially we had a room facing the sun and when we checked in, the room is super hot. Called the customer service only to find out they didn’t have air conditioning during winter and we have to rent a fan from them.

After a slight communication, the customer service is kind enough to upgrade us to a bigger room which is slightly cooler. Big props to the customer service lady! 5 stars service !

I think this hotel is in a great location and offers excellent service. However, it's a 20-30 minute walk from Yamagata Station, so if walking is too much for you, I recommend taking a taxi.

It's a short walk if you stroll around town while sightseeing, so don't worry about that.

Also, there's a hot spring on the first floor, but it's open until midnight, so if you want to take a night bath, there's a slight chance you might miss it depending on what time you get home. Of course, there's a regular shower room and bathtub in the room, so you can wash up there.

In addition, the morning bath is open from 6am to 10am, so it's no problem to take a leisurely bath. With a hot spring, this was a great hotel that I'd like to return to. There's also a Lawson on the first floor, so you can buy something to eat and relax in your room.

The cleanliness process is not good enough when  comparing with the price and the hotel rating. I found a lot of hairs in the wall of the bathroom and the small towel. I told the staff to clean in the bathroom because just one night and I do not want to move to a new room. 

The front staff was nice but they solved the problem by using tissue in the bathroom and there were still some hairs in the wall.

However, the location is good within 3 mins from Rinku Town station by walking and there is a bridge to connect with the hotel. Also, there is Family Mart at the 2nd floor.

The self-check in and check out machine is at the front desk but there are many staff stands around the area. 

The most impressive service was the free shuttle bus to the airport. There was a reservation system and the driver was police and drive safely.
