"The room was incredibly clean, practically on the doorstep of Erhai Lake, with a balcony offering a stunning sea view.
The service was excellent. They provided luggage pick-up and drop-off, the front desk and butler were very friendly, and they even helped with laundry. Complimentary water and drinks were provided in the room. The breakfast offered a good variety, the environment was beautiful, and it was quiet at night. Coming during the off-season offered great value for money. They even gave out small gifts for Christmas, which was a thoughtful touch.
**Environment:** The room was exceptionally clean, virtually right on Erhai Lake, and the balcony had a fantastic sea view. Breakfast was varied, the surroundings were lovely, and it was peaceful at night. Visiting in the off-season provided excellent value for money. They even had little Christmas gifts, which was a very thoughtful gesture.
**Service:** The service was absolutely wonderful. They offered luggage transfer, the front desk and butler were super friendly, and they even assisted with laundry. Free water and beverages were supplied in the room.

LLixiaobaoI was initially concerned that the Xiaomei King Room, which lacked air conditioning, would be hot and small. However, it was nothing of the sort – it was absolutely stunning, and the service was impeccable! My elderly companion did mention that the noise from duvets being washed at night made it difficult for her to fall asleep. Despite this, overall, we were very pleased. I had planned to visit the wetland park for the sunset, but a staff member advised there was no need, as we could enjoy the view directly from their property! They even provided a complimentary farewell gift upon our departure!

MM336290****The hotel's location is excellent and very quiet. Since it was the off-season, the front desk upgraded us to a 270-degree sea-view room with a balcony, where we could even feed the seagulls right from our room!
The room setup was very thoughtful, with amenities like steam eye masks and facial towels provided. The complimentary travel photography service was fantastic; they had various beautiful dresses available for free, and the photographer was efficient with shooting and editing, making the photos look like professional portraits.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend staying here.

What's particularly great is that this area isn't an 'internet-famous' crowded spot, allowing you to effortlessly enjoy a serene and relaxing vacation. It's also lovely to see many local villagers strolling around, which genuinely adds to the authentic and laid-back holiday atmosphere.
And let's talk about the breakfast – it's absolutely phenomenal! I easily devoured three bowls of their delicious rice noodles, and they even offer Cantonese dim sum, with their steamed chicken feet being simply divine.
Parking is super convenient with a dedicated lot just 100 meters behind the hotel. The service is impeccable: staff assist with luggage during both check-in and check-out, and there's a handy golf cart shuttle service.
The hotel's grounds are like a beautiful garden, and nearby you'll find bicycle rental shops and travel photography studios. The hotel also has its own restaurant. If you're looking to escape the crowds and enjoy a peaceful holiday, this place offers everything you need for a perfect getaway while ensuring a quiet and comfortable retreat. Truly a wonderful vacation and a fantastic hotel!

The hotel offered excellent additional value, including complimentary Instagrammable photo spots on-site, a photographer who provided a wonderful experience and captured beautiful moments, an all-day, on-demand hotel shuttle service, and the hotel's partnered driver for our second-day coastal tour also offered incredibly attentive service. Overall, it made for a truly enjoyable trip.

TTiansanshijiushiwoyaThis is my fifth time vacationing in Dali, and it's been a really busy year. Dali is such a relaxing city. I stayed at the Jupiter Castle Hotel once before, right after it opened, and it left a deep impression. So I returned to Wenbi Village. Compared to a few years ago, Wenbi Village's commercial offerings are much more developed, and this hotel's service is even more meticulous. The overall aesthetic is perfect for photos. My room booking included complimentary pick-up service from Dali Airport, taking me directly to the hotel. The butler kept in touch throughout my stay. That very evening, I saw a 'burning cloud' sunset, which hadn't appeared for many days. The next morning, I witnessed the rare sight of the sun illuminating Cangshan Mountain. Wenbi Village is situated at an elevation that offers a panoramic view of Cangshan and Erhai Lake, arguably one of the best locations. Although it's been open for three or four years, the hotel is very well-maintained. The mini-fridge was stocked with many complimentary items, including face masks, jellies, and drinks, all free to enjoy. The hygiene was impeccable, and the overall environment was fantastic. Just staying in the room, curled up on the sofa, with the warm sunlight streaming in and bathing me, instantly made all the stress and exhaustion from work disappear. Thank you, Dali, and thank you, Jupiter Castle, for making this trip so perfect. I'll definitely stay here again next time I get the chance!

Once again, we say goodbye with that familiar ache of reluctance in our hearts.
Yet this farewell is softened by a unexpected tenderness—a beautiful twist of fate. A sudden bout of altitude sickness in Lijiang forced us to alter our plans and return to Dali. Little did we know this detour would lead us to the most wonderful surprise: XingMu Villa, tucked away on the green slopes of Haidong. Perhaps this was destiny's gentle hand at work all along?
We were truly blessed to meet the villa's kind-hearted owners, whose genuine warmth made us feel as though we had returned to a home we never knew we had.
The goodbye was especially moving. When our driver, Master He, arrived, the owners personally came out to see us off. We shared joyful smiles in a farewell photo, and they gifted us my favorite rose tea—a touching gesture I'll always remember. The hostess, aware of my recent knee injury, carefully helped me into the car, her eyes filled with such sincere care, as if I were her own. When she said how much she enjoyed hosting us and how special we were to her, my heart echoed every word.
Though every wonderful journey must eventually end, the memories we've made here will stay with us forever. As our car carried us away, the gentle scent of rose tea still lingered, a fragrant reminder of this heartwarming chapter.
Until we meet again, XingMu Villa. May you continue to shine brightly, and may every traveler who finds their way to your doors experience the same extraordinary warmth that embraced us during our stay.

11381145****We booked the Duchamp room this time, traveling with seniors and children. There's a corridor outside the balcony, and the room is on the first floor. Plus, there's a bar right next to the hotel with a live singer performing until past 11 PM. If you're sensitive to noise or need a quiet sleeping environment, I wouldn't recommend this room type.
However, the scenery in Dali is absolutely stunning. As the saying goes, 'Cangshan is a masterpiece painted without ink, Erhai is an ancient zither played without strings,' truly unforgettable.
Everything else was excellent, especially the butler service. They were very attentive and helped us resolve any issues we encountered. The afternoon tea and late-night sweet soup were also lovely. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation and would definitely come back to experience the charm of Dali and immerse ourselves in the local culture again if we get the chance.
