"I've been to Dali many times, and each time I try a different guesthouse. This time, the platform recommended ”Yan Chuanshu Inn” based on my preferences, and I was drawn to it at first sight. It's located in the heart of Dali Old Town, in a relatively new area, and it's very quiet. What I absolutely loved was that the guesthouse has three adorable British Shorthair cats! Maikou is a chubby one who loves to lie on the floor and act cute. Tiechui is a Scottish Fold kitten, very clingy, and has the best personality. Gangdan is a British Blue cat, independent and very wary, lively and mischievous – as expected, you can only pet him when he's in a good mood [lol][lol].
Despite that, I still adore them, haha. My stay here was completely therapeutic because of the cats, and also because of the attentive service from the guesthouse owner. The owner has a great demeanor, and the service was impeccable. She helped me with my luggage and, knowing it was our first time exploring Dali, recommended some delicious and reasonably priced food spots in the Old Town [munch][munch]. Furthermore, the room I booked was really spacious, and the bed was huge – a Stressless brand, super comfortable! The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the overall cleanliness was excellent. The cleaning auntie tidied my room daily. The guesthouse courtyard has many flowers and plants, and the rooftop offers beautiful views of Cangshan Mountain ⛰️⛰️. I especially loved going up there in the evening. All in all, the accommodation I chose for this trip was truly wonderful. I think I'll recommend it to my friends next time～[heart][heart]"

The owners are incredibly welcoming; they helped me with my luggage and gave me great recommendations for food and attractions. I absolutely adore their little one! Outside the district is the sea-ring road, along the sea-ring road can be reached [Dali ancient city] [Haidong Shuanglang] [Xiaoputuo] [Douce Town].
"We will be back! This felt like a home away from home, except it had such a wonderful view of the lake. The host was super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, close to the railway station, which was very handy for us as we came over from Kunming and then went back. You're close to many of the central places and with DiDi taxi, it's super easy to get around from here. We will for sure book here again; we're already planning a visit back."

"Our 'butler service' means you get a dedicated butler providing one-on-one service from the moment you check in. They'll contact you in advance to confirm your arrival time, arrange shuttle pick-up, and send friendly reminders about breakfast times and other important notes via group chat.
Facilities: The hairdryer's airflow is really weak, not even as strong as the wind off Erhai Lake! The bedside lamp isn't working, but everything else is okay.
Cleanliness: Clean, tidy, and no strange smells – pretty good.
Environment: The space is large and bright. My only complaint is the view from the window isn't great.
Service: The service is excellent; anything we needed was delivered to the room very quickly, and the breakfast tasted good.
Honestly, the view from the guest room window is quite disappointing."

The small courtyard is located at the south gate of the ancient city of Dali, and it takes about 5 minutes to walk to the ancient city. Backed by Cangshan Mountain, facing Erhai Lake. There are a variety of local specialties to choose from, and the surrounding life and entertainment are complete. It is about a 15-minute drive from the scenic spot Chongsheng Temple Three Pagoda Park, Cangshan Grand Cableway, Tianlong Babu Film and Television City and Erhai Lakeside Internet Red Ecological Corridor check-in point. Convenient travel and convenient transportation are indeed a rare golden location!
"I recently stayed here as a solo traveler, and this hotel was the highlight of my trip to Dali.
The hotel is located directly opposite the South Gate of Dali Old Town - truly steps away from the ancient city walls, only 3-4 mins walk yet it's quiet at night. There are also many delicious local eateries all within a 2-minute walk and also foot massage place. After you explore and have tired feet, I highly recommend that place - only 2 mins walk from the hotel. Calling a taxi (DiDi) to any attraction is also very convenient.
The hotel owner is an incredibly kind and genuine person. She made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Even though I speak very little mandarin, they made an effort to speak very slowly for me. The most memorable moment was when she invited me to join her and her friends for a home-cooked dinner at the hotel. As a solo traveler, that gesture of community was truly special and something I can't book on trip.com.
This hotel made my Dali trip unforgettable. Thank you for the wonderful memories."

"這次入住體驗感直接拉滿！首先要誇爆這裏的公區，一進門就被庭院裏的水池吸引，水超清，裏面養了好幾條胖嘟嘟的錦鯉，看着它們游來游去，煩躁的心情瞬間就平靜了。我們剛到大門口，民宿管家就眼疾手快地沖出來幫忙提行李，一路送到房間，全程笑容滿面，真的太加分了！房間更是沒話説，床品軟硬適中，一沾枕頭就睡得很沉，睡眠質量直線飆升。全屋智能控制簡直是我這種懶人的福音，動動嘴就能開關燈和窗簾，科技感與舒適感並存，這次選對地方了！"

"The first hotel on our Yunnan trip was absolutely fantastic! The moment we stepped into the courtyard, we were instantly charmed by the beautiful flowers and plants, and seeing the adorable cats and dogs just lifted our spirits.
The room was very clean, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, which is one of my must-haves when choosing accommodation. The bedding was super comfortable, and the bed was great for sleeping. They even had a direct drinking water dispenser in the room, which felt much safer than an electric kettle.
The guesthouse is just over a ten-minute walk to the South Gate of the ancient town. The walk back takes a few minutes longer because there's an uphill slope right before you reach the guesthouse, but if you rent a scooter, it's no problem at all. They even thoughtfully provided a foot bath tub in the room – soaking my feet after a long day was so relaxing.
The staff at the guesthouse were all young men, and they were warm and welcoming without being intrusive.
If I come back to Dali, I'll definitely choose this guesthouse again."
