AAnonymous UserThe B&B was super clean and comfortable, the room was spacious, and it felt just like home – so cozy! The owner was also incredibly warm and attentive. They even showed us how to rent an electric scooter to explore the ancient city, which was super convenient. Dali Ancient City is right across the street. We also found lots of local snacks at Sanyue Street. There's even a washing machine available upstairs for laundry. And the best part? We had a view of the snowy mountains from our room. Basically, if you're not planning on going to the eastern route, you don't need to hire a private car; an electric scooter is enough. If you're planning on driving yourself, remember to apply for an international driving permit in advance.

GGuest UserThe inn is very close to the Erhai Lake, only a few hundred meters away on foot. It is also very close to Yinqiao Town, so it is very convenient to visit the market. The room is very quiet and comfortable at night, and the decoration is very new. You can tell at a glance that the store owner is very careful in tidying up the room, not to mention the water and electricity. The weather in Dali was quite bad on the day I arrived, but it was really super comfortable to take a hot shower when I arrived at the hotel. When I got off the high-speed rail, the housekeeper took the initiative to contact me and told me how to get there. When I arrived at the ancient city, the housekeeper drove over to pick me up, which was very nice. Along the way, he shared some information about local tours with me. The proprietress was also very enthusiastic. When I arrived at the inn, I happened to meet someone for dinner, haha, so I just had a meal. I really love this inn. I will stay here again when I come to Dali next time.

GGuest UserThe B&B was spotless and well-maintained with excellent facilities. The environment was beautiful, and the rooftop terrace offered stunning views of the Cangshan sunrise and sunset, overlooking the ancient city – truly delightful. The room was bathed in warm sunlight, and enjoying tea while gazing at the ancient city from the bay window was a real treat. The owners were incredibly kind, warm, and genuine, always ready to help with any request. They gave us practical tips and food recommendations that didn't disappoint. There's also a very friendly dog named Wangcai and two adorable cats. When we left, they even helped us with our checked luggage, showing genuine care for their guests. I'll definitely recommend this place to friends and will choose it again if I ever return. I'm currently in a Lijiang B&B, unable to sleep, and the contrast makes me miss that place even more – it had a special kind of warmth.

AAmenda =)Make sure you communicate with the team via wechat before heading over, because they will pick you up from the nearest road where cars can drive to. Its about 200m away from the accommodation.
The location is convenient, few eateries and convenience stores that opens till late nearby. But of course their attractions are scattered around, so cabbing everywhere is still necessary.
LOTS OF FLIES AT NIGHT, those that are attracted to lights. Their doors are all installed with the flies prevention blinds, but still insufficient. Tip: off your room lights before heading out to the balcony.
Water pressure is good. But water heater takes about 5mins to get warm, water doesnt turn cold during your shower.
Free breakfast is the same everyday. Staff are hospitable, friendly and approachable.

SSam AussiOur stay at this mini hotel near Erhai Lake was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The hospitality was outstanding, with the owner and their friends and family creating a beautiful evening gathering that we will never forget. The delicious noodles, fruits and the morning Pu'er tea were delightful touches that added to the overall experience.
The hotel itself is new and beautifully designed, blending modern amenities with the rich traditions of a courtyard setting. The rooms were immaculate, superbly clean, and very comfortable, equipped with everything a traveler could need. They even helped us park our car nearby, which was very convenient.
The star of it all was the wonderful lady owner. She was always ready to jump up and help with whatever we needed. We don't speak Chinese, but communication was easy using online translation. In the morning owner took us for a walk near Erhai Lake, which was a memorable highlight of our stay.
The location of the hotel is perfect, situated between the rice fields and the lake shore, just a one-minute walk to the boardwalk along the lake. We left feeling amazed and recharged, and we sincerely hope that our travels will bring us back to this wonderful hotel near Dali ancient city again.

GGuest UserWhat a hidden gem of a guesthouse! The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming. On our first afternoon, the landlady even invited us to have dinner with them and helped us plan our itinerary.
The guesthouse's courtyard is beautifully designed; you can take stunning photos without even leaving the property! Plus, the location is fantastic. You can easily reach the ancient city to soak in the local atmosphere, head to Erhai Lake for breathtaking views, ascend Cangshan Mountain to embrace nature, and explore Xizhou Ancient Town to experience Bai ethnic culture—all by electric scooter!!!
The room is cozy and comfortable, with thoughtful touches evident in every detail. Here, you can enjoy peace and quiet while still having easy access to all that Dali has to offer. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Dali!!

MM2cfmi0xv****The room was absolutely gorgeous! I booked a high-floor ocean view room with unobstructed views. The room was very comfortable. I booked this place because I needed to catch the high-speed train. It's less than 2 kilometers from the train station, so taxis are very convenient. There are also many places to eat; a food street is just 400 meters away with a wide variety of choices. The receptionist was incredibly welcoming and gave us complimentary welcome snacks and Dali-style flower cakes. The breakfast rice noodles were also excellent and tasted delicious. There's a viewing platform upstairs with stunning views. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I would definitely stay here again next time.

GGuest UserWe rented the Garden Deluxe Room, with a mountain view. We find the description and pictures were accurately advertised, and the service was impeccable. We were very pleased with our rental, as it was private, clean and orderly. The hotel is conveniently located within the Dali Ancient Town, close to Biai Road and Renmin Road intersection (see picture of map). The morning and night views from the terrace were stunning. The Dali Ancient Town is as lively as you would imagine, with tons of food and shopping options. Our experience in Dali was awesome, with it's majestic mountains, beautiful lake, vibrant towns and peaceful villages.
However, the best part of this stay was our interactions with the hotel owners, who are a lovely couple. They are good people - very kind, helpful and approachable. Although we had to use an English to Mandarin translation app for most of our conversations, they were patient and made recommendations that we really enjoyed. They helped us book a tour of Erhai Lake and we had a wonderful time sightseeing with the bus tour company (highly recommended if you don't know where to start exploring). We also took their scooter bike to explore the Three Pagodas on our own and drove around the lake afterwards. Please consider renting their scooter bike, as it was super fun and the price is very affordable. As language is a barrier for us, they not only helped us book our ride to Lijiang, but they also gave us a hotel recommendation, which their son runs. To us, they are very trustworthy, so we're sure we will have another pleasant stay in Lijiang.
After all, it's not how clean the hotel is, or how beautiful the surroundings are, it's the people we meet along the way that makes it a wonderul trip experience. If there is another hotel rating for overall hotel experience, it would be a 10/5 for us. The owners definitely made our short stay very comfortable and our adventures amazing - thank you so much! We would definitely come back to this hotel if we are in this area again!

NNurul Ayuni NordinLocation was ok, its in a small alley off the main road so it was away from the noise and bustle of the narrow roads
However:
- we arrived at around 11.45am and was told to come back at 2pm as our room was not ready. The hotel’s listing mentions that check-in is at 12pm
- room size is ok, but doesn’t feel as clean as pictures. A lot of black marks/scuffs on the walls that affect the general look of the room
- toilets are definitely a downside, not renovated with the floor paint rubbing off on my feet when I use it
- if your room is on the 2nd floor, be prepared to have to carry your own luggage up the narrow stairway
- MOST IMPORTANT NOTE: taxis & Didi are VERY difficult to get in the mornings (before 11am). Highly advise to schedule a ride the night before.
Owner tried his best to help us despite the language barrier but it was still a bit difficult to communicate

They were also kind enough to let me change rooms to avoid smoke due to my asthma. Water is free. Location is perfectly in the centre of Dali Ancient City - short walks to parks, markets, temples, etc.!!!
