Had a fantastic stay! The room was spotless, and the bedding was super comfy. The owners were incredibly friendly and responsive. The location was convenient, and it was really quiet at night, making for a very relaxing experience overall. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town. Highly recommend!

On my way back, I returned to Yuezhu Yishan. It's close to the ancient city, which is convenient after a long day of sightseeing. The bedding was just right – not too soft, not too firm – ensuring a good night's sleep. Every corner was spotless, and all the necessities were provided. The concierge was as attentive and thoughtful as ever, helping with our luggage. It felt just like coming home. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The breakfast with minced pork rice noodles was delicious! The owner, a retired serviceman, was incredibly kind and provided excellent service. The room had a beautiful view, facing Cangshan Mountain and backing onto Erhai Lake, and it was very spacious. Great value for money! The only downside is that the soundproofing isn't great; even with the windows closed during the day, you can still hear the music from Sanyue Street. Also, the walk from the guesthouse to the main road is a few hundred meters down a very dark alley, which can be a bit spooky at night if you're alone.

We stayed for 4 days during the May Day holiday. It was great. The B&B is very new, with good facilities and a relatively quiet environment. The best thing is that it is close to Erhai Lake. It takes only 1 minute to get to the beach after leaving the B&B. You don't have to rush to watch the sunrise in the morning. The B&B owner was very considerate. When we arrived on the 1st, it was much later than expected. She was waiting for us and asked us if we had dinner. She sent us travel tips, introduced delicious shops around, and sent us a fruit plate. One day when it rained, she even lent us an umbrella. It was a very good stay experience. If I go to Dali again, I will consider staying again🧡ྀི💛ྀི❤️ྀི

The mountains and rivers are truly beautiful, and Dali is so romantic! My 3-day trip to Dali has come to an end. I stayed at this traditional Bai-style guesthouse on Foreigner Street the entire time. It was clean and tidy, and disposable towels and toiletries were replenished daily. The guesthouse has three floors, with a rooftop terrace on the fourth, and the common areas are also very pretty. The room even had a vanity table, which is a big plus for women. It's very close to Fuxing Road and West Gate, making getting around super convenient. The owner also gave us detailed travel and sightseeing tips. It was a very pleasant trip! 🏕️

I'm a local and I stayed at Sanniu Island with my child during the off-season. This hotel offers great value for money and allows you to enjoy the lifestyle around Xindi Cafe. Compared to similar hotels, it's quite affordable. It's separated from Erhai Lake only by a lush, flowering green belt, so there's no noise from crowded corridors!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lily Pad Hostel and would happily return. It offers excellent value for money and is a great base for exploring Dali. The hostel is in a good location, just a little outside the main town. It’s an easy walk, although you do need to cross some busy roads, which could be a little challenging if you’re travelling with small children. The room was clean, and the bed sheets were spotless. We also had a lovely view from the landing. There were some friendly resident bunnies wandering around, and we enjoyed having a ping pong table to use during our stay. The only minor downside was that the shower temperature was a little inconsistent, switching between hot and cold. Aside from that, we were very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay. We would thoroughly recommend Lily Pad Hostel to anyone visiting Dali and would definitely stay here again.

The room type was pretty good, and there were fellow travelers to team up with in the group chat. The hostel had good soundproofing, and the front desk offered free earplugs. It's located within Dali Ancient City, making it very convenient for walking around, and transportation is easy. The scenery is also nice, and there are cats at the property. You can even use the owner's computer to transfer photos, which is a great service. There are many beautiful hydrangeas planted at the entrance.

The rooms weren't large but were clean, with modern amenities. It's located right on the main road of Dali Ancient City. I stayed on the ground floor, but the views from the rooms upstairs were quite beautiful. There are some peach trees in front of the house; if you go during the flowering season, you'll be amazed. Before going, I checked the map and thought it was on a main road, so I assumed a car would be able to pick me up right away. But upon arrival, I learned that cars are only allowed in at night; in the morning, cars are prohibited, only motorbikes and bicycles are allowed. So every time I needed to go somewhere, I had to walk to the main road, which was a bit inconvenient – ​​this is the biggest drawback you should consider. On the other hand, the owner was quite enthusiastic; I checked in at 1 AM and he waited until he fell asleep, making me think I was being locked out!

This was my first time staying in a youth hostel, and the room was quite nice. The window offered a view of Cangshan Mountain. Both the owner and the other guests were very warm and friendly, even inviting me to join them for a BBQ and beer. However, I wouldn't recommend it for those who prefer a quiet atmosphere over a lively one.
