Guest UserWe chose this hotel after seeing photos of the amazing views from its rooms - and we were not disappointed. The hotel is located in a high rise residential apartment complex, and situated in between the east and west banks of Erhai lake. You could see both banks clearly from the balcony, with Cangshan serving as the backdrop.
Service was personal and wonderful too. We had our rooms upgraded for free to a bigger one, and the staff gave many useful recommendations of local restaurants, attractions and bike rental - very very handy for cycling Erhai lake (the bike shop she recommended was professional and provided high quality bikes which enabled us to go halfway around the lake, and could be returned at a different location). She also made us tea personally upon request, and offered to teach us teamaking.
Overall, a very pleasant stay with nothing to complain about. Will recommend this hotel to fellow travellers who are looking to stay in a less touristy part of Dali, away from the ancient town area, with amazing views from the hotel itself.

Guest User【Convenient Travel】Airport transfer (choose one) or airport/high-speed rail station transfer for stays of two consecutive nights (choose one of four): It's only a 10-minute drive from the airport, which is super convenient. Plus, the lady at the front desk was waiting for me early in the morning to drive me, which was very thoughtful.
Facilities: The room facilities really offer great value for money. There's a mini-fridge, a Laifen negative ion hairdryer just like the one I use at home, and the central air conditioning heats up very quickly!
Environment: The Erhai Lake is right outside, so I watched the sunrise in the morning, had breakfast, and felt fantastic.

Lize from South AfricaWe had a great stay at Country Inn by Radisson in Dali and would happily stay here again. It offers excellent value for money, very friendly service, and clean, comfortable rooms in a convenient location.
Location:
The hotel is around a 10-minute Didi ride from Dali Ancient City, the Three Pagodas, and the Old Tea Horse Trail and 15min ride to Longkan Pier, making it easy to explore the main attractions on the West side. There are also plenty of convenient shared rental scooters available outside each morning, and taxis arrive quickly.
Room & Cleanliness:
Before arriving, we requested a non-smoking room. Our original room was still undergoing a smoke removal treatment, so the staff kindly upgraded us to one of their ”Pure Stay” rooms on the second floor. It was also much quieter, which was appreciated as I needed to work during our stay.
The room was clean, spacious, had no smoke smell at all and even had an air purifying system. The hotel feels very new and is well maintained all lights and curtains in the room can be controlled with smart panels. The bed was soft and comfortable, with thick, good-quality duvets that made for a great night's sleep. The air conditioning was excellent and a welcome relief from the summer heat, keeping the room cool and comfortable throughout our stay.
The bathroom was equally clean, with an automatic flushing toilet featuring a built-in UV sanitiser as part of the Pure Stay room. The shower had excellent water pressure, and as someone with very long, thick hair, I was pleasantly surprised about the quality of the shampoo and conditioners.
Service
The service was one of the highlights of our stay. The front desk staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and eager to help. A special thank you to the two gentlemen at reception who went above and beyond to communicate with us, organise the room upgrade, and even print several work documents for me free of charge. We were also welcomed with a small gift at check-in, which was a thoughtful touch.
Facilities:
The hotel has a lovely garden with several attractive spots for holiday photos. There is a convenient 24-hour tea and coffee station in the lobby, as well as a large power bank rental station before heading out for the day. The only small suggestion would be to also provide coffee sachets in the guest rooms for added convenience.
The complimentary WiFi is an open network, which is a bit risky. It was a little slow for heavier work tasks but was perfectly adequate for normal browsing and everyday use.
Breakfast:
Breakfast was the only area that did not quite match the rest of our experience. There was a reasonable selection, but we found it fairly basic, particularly for international travellers, and chose to have breakfast elsewhere on our second morning.
Overall:
This hotel offers excellent value, outstanding cleanliness, genuinely helpful staff, and a convenient location for exploring Dali. If you are looking for a comfortable, modern hotel with friendly service, I would happily recommend staying here.

Guest UserOur stay at this B&B in Dali far exceeded our expectations. It's managed by the same team as the Manxin Mansion Hotel, sharing resources, which offers excellent value for money. The location is superb, situated just outside the ancient city, only a hundred meters walk to enter. This made exploring the old town and finding food incredibly convenient, and getting taxis to various attractions was also easy.
The B&B's hygiene was impeccable; our room was spotless and dry, making for a worry-free stay. For breakfast, we could enjoy the rich buffet at Manxin Mansion, and also had complimentary access to their hot springs and outdoor pool. Soaking in the hot springs after a day of sightseeing was incredibly relaxing. The viewing terrace on the hotel's third floor was a delightful surprise, offering expansive views that perfectly captured the majestic Cangshan Mountains and the gentle Erhai Lake. Sitting on the terrace, enjoying the breeze and the scenery, was incredibly therapeutic.
The service throughout our stay was exceptionally warm and attentive. The staff were responsive and friendly, paying great attention to detail. With its peaceful yet well-equipped environment, this B&B is a top choice for accommodation around Dali Ancient City. We'll definitely prioritize staying here again on our next visit!

The hotel offers a fantastic view, especially from the rooftop common area where you can see the beautiful Erhai Lake – perfect for photos. The owner is incredibly thoughtful; they offer a pick-up service, and even reimbursed our taxi fare when we arrived. On the second morning, they brought breakfast directly to our room at 10 AM since we hadn't gotten up yet. We enjoyed breakfast in the room while watching squirrels hopping outside – the environment is truly wonderful. The owner also runs a tea business and even gave us some tea as a souvenir when we left. They truly made us feel at home.

We initially only had 3 days visiting Dali, but rarely does a hotel ever influence me in staying longer in a particular city. Dont get me wrong, Dali is VERY BEAUTIFUL. Its got enough offerings for it to convince me to stay longer. But since this is a review of this hotel, I will keep it that way.
For starters, the staff: there are 3 whom we've had the pleasure of meeting
1.) The front desk/lobby gentleman who is very accommodating and knowledgeable. He made sure we were happy with everything and even offered to give my party of 5 credits for our ”didi” rides, one of China's largest ride share.
2.) The young lady housekeeper/tea/greeter/everything, she will provide you with all the necessities you may require. Disposable towels it works, give it a shot before knocking it, bottled water, soap, laundry detergent, anything. She also has the sweetest personality and although I didn't speak Mandarin all too well, we somehow understood each other. Shes simply amazing.
3.) The owner, she is a person of faith. If she senses anything wrong with you, she wont hesitate to offer medicine and food free of charge to make you feel better.
All of the above 3 staff rescued my mom in law when she felt unwell due to altitude sickness. Oxygen bottles were ready at 18rmb each, they even offered to try it first to see if it works before paying. It just goes to show the lengths they are willing to go to ensure their guests are well taken care of.
Now for the hotel: I might have to copy and paste this review because I actually booked 2 rooms. One for my family and another for my inlaws.
I booked the largest two bedroom with bunk bed and really tall ceilings equipped with a living room, and another was a panoramic view of both Cangshan mountain and Erhai lake on the 3rd floor corner. I forgot what it was called but the place was dreamy and well equipped. Not to mention all rooms were decked out with ZEN like decorations beyond compare.
How can I say this in the best way possible...
The location isnt the closest to the ancient city, meaning you cant walk it, but didi is quite affordable that this did not matter to us. The school bells and songs that play during specific hours are oddly satisfying and did not cause any disturbance. Cars will be cars, especially in China, so wherever you stay, hearing horns here and there is inevitable. But the windows, curtains and walls are great for sound absorption.
Combined with the beauty and serene touches this place had to offer like the koi pond, zen garden, traditional pagoda and courtyard aesthetics, along with the decor of each room that surpassed my expectations, I cancelled a more expensive hotel to stay here with the intent of trying only for a night and moving to another. With the cherry on top being served by the most humble staff, our 3 nights in Dali became 5 nights.
The distance to each attraction was never an issue thanks to the affordability of ride share programs in China. Being slightly away from the busy areas, we were welcomed with peace, quiet, and a community like vibe. We walked the back streets, visited a Buddhist temple about 5 minutes away, and dined at actual local restaurants.
The vacation became an eye opener, especially for a westerner like myself.
My family and I, even though we still have 2 nights left, already look forward to our next trip to Dali. And when that time comes, this place will be where we stay without hesitation.
I cancel a lot of hotel bookings because they rarely match what is shown on the app. You know that feeling. But this place, we were brought here for a reason.
My family loves this place. And to the staff, thank you for welcoming us and making us feel comfortable.
Dali, into the awakening place. What a beautiful and appropriate name for such a place of tranquility and hospitality.

Guest UserThe room was very clean, the environment was great, and it was pretty soundproof. The front desk lady was also very nice and even gave us extra breakfast. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay. You can see the sunset from the balcony in the evening, and it was very convenient to wash and dry clothes. The scenery in Dali is also beautiful.

Guest UserThe first time I came to Dali, I originally planned to live alone. I met like-minded friends at the hotel, or fellow villagers. I cooked and played together. I was also very good with the boss. I played games together. This small courtyard is as comfortable as my own home. The style of the room is also very healing and refreshing. Every day, the curtains are opened to the scenery. The sky in Dali is really blue and sometimes there is no blue white cloud! I went to many places, and I stayed for a long time. I felt Dali at a slow pace. I couldn't play, so I took a hair dryer by the sea and looked at the blue sky and looked at the Bohai Sea. It was also very pleasant physically and mentally. Lazy to go out, lie in the room to watch a movie, drink tea, see the scenery outside the window, or bask in the sun in the yard downstairs... I can't praise it again next time! I wish the boss a prosperous business!

Returning to Dali from Jizu Mountain, I temporarily chose to stay at Jinsuo Island. I have been to Dali many times, and this is my first time on the island. This hotel is indeed the most satisfactory one. The room has an unbeatable sea view. You can see the sea and the sunrise while lying on the bed. The facilities are very smart and the hygiene is also very clean. Super cost-effective!
The breakfast in the sea view restaurant is also a little surprise.

Anonymous UserOur stay was wonderful! The room was meticulously clean, even the corners were spotless. The owner was very kind and helpful. The daily breakfast was thoughtfully prepared and genuinely delicious – we were very satisfied. The B&B's location is peaceful yet central, and the courtyard filled with flowers and plants was truly memorable. We loved the room types – the suite with a large bed and floor-to-ceiling windows, and the tatami family room were both very comfortable. My whole family was happy with it.
