Exceptional Stay! Sanjian Seaview Hotel was truly one of the highlights of my trip to Dali. Facing the beautiful Erhai Lake with breathtaking views of the majestic Cangshan Mountains, the scenery was simply stunning from sunrise to sunset. The room itself was spacious, clean, comfortable, and impeccably maintained. I especially loved the fully smart-controlled features adding a modern and luxurious touch to the stay. Combined with the panoramic views of Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain, it created a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. Every corner of the property is thoughtfully designed, making it incredibly aesthetic and Instagram-worthy. The food was another highlight. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and supper were all included, with a wide variety of choices and incredibly generous portions. As someone with a smaller appetite, I requested reduced portions, and the staff were more than happy to accommodate my request. Their attentiveness and flexibility were greatly appreciated. One unique feature was the complimentary photography session offered by the hotel. With such stunning scenery as the backdrop, it was hard to resist. The photographer was young, passionate, professional, and knew exactly how to make guests feel comfortable in front of the camera. Fair warning - you may arrive intending to enjoy only the complimentary photos, but you might find yourself purchasing a photo package because the results turn out far better than expected! Although the hotel is located slightly away from the popular tourist attractions, I found this to be one of its greatest strengths. Away from the crowds and bustle of the tourist hotspots, the hotel offers a peaceful and tranquil retreat where guests can truly relax and appreciate the natural beauty of Dali. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, making the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, this was more than just a hotel stay, it felt like a place where time slowed down. Leaving was the hardest part. For a brief moment, I found myself wondering what it would be like to stay a few more days, or perhaps forever. It was the kind of place that made the outside world feel a little less urgent and every moment a little more precious. A truly memorable stay, and one that I will look back on fondly long after leaving Dali.

The facilities are brand new and well-equipped, and the service is exceptional. They helped us with our luggage and even saw us off to our car. Every day, they delivered breakfast and afternoon tea to our room, along with tremella soup. They were always ready to assist with any request. This is a truly fantastic hotel, and I love the exterior design. You can get some great photos without even leaving the hotel.

This place exceeded expectations. The staff were incredibly helpful and courteous — they gave us tips on local activities and things to watch out for, and were consistently friendly and responsive to every request. At one point they even brought us free coffee outside of normal coffee hours, which was a small touch that said a lot about their hospitality. Breakfast was a highlight — more like a full restaurant meal than a typical hotel spread. The resident dogs added a nice touch and were a lot of fun to have around. The room itself was lovely, with a traditional floor-seating setup that felt authentic to the area. Location-wise, it’s conveniently close to the ancient city, but still surrounded by quiet, serene countryside, surrounded by sunflowers and corn patch If you’re looking for a place to truly unwind and do nothing, this is it. The setting alone made relaxing effortless. 这家酒店超出了我们的期待。工作人员非常热情周到,给我们提供了当地活动的建议和需要注意的事项,而且始终友好、有求必应。有一次他们甚至在非咖啡时间给我们送来了免费咖啡,这个小细节体现出他们真诚的待客之道。 早餐是一大亮点——比一般酒店的早餐丰盛得多,更像是一顿正式的餐厅大餐。店里养的狗狗也很讨人喜欢,给我们增添了不少乐趣。 房间本身很不错,传统的地台式布置很有当地特色。地理位置也很方便,离古城很近,但周围环境依然宁静祥和,四周是向日葵田和玉米地。 如果你想找一个真正能放松、什么都不做的地方,这里就是了。光是这里的环境,就让人不自觉地放松下来。

I rarely write reviews, but Wuyun (Cloudless) really made our stay incredibly comfortable~ Room: All facilities worked perfectly, and the room had ample space. The balcony offered great views with good privacy (I thought with guesthouses being so close, privacy might be an issue, but it wasn't at all); aside from a few small, natural flying insects in summer (which the housekeeper explained), everything else was excellent~ Breakfast: Delicious! Both the yogurt bowl and rice noodles were tasty. The balcony where breakfast is served offered a completely different beautiful view, making breakfast a very enjoyable experience. Environment: The entire guesthouse environment exuded a sense of quiet and tranquility. With abundant white decor and lush greenery in every corner, it's clearly a well-designed space. No need to worry about the coffee shop affecting the accommodation; the lodging area remains very quiet. Coffee!!! My partner and I had 2-3 cups each per day, not just because it's free for guests (this service is truly unique and outstanding!), but genuinely because the beans were delicious, and the housekeepers consistently made excellent coffee (as someone used to mediocre coffee in Shanghai, I was pleasantly surprised to find such great coffee in Erhai). All the other beverages were also wonderfully prepared. We even bought a lot of drip bags and coffee beans when we left, haha (my friends also said they were delicious!). I forgot to take pictures, but the room was really big and beautiful, and you could get some sun in the mornings. The guesthouse is inside the ancient city but not in the busiest area, so it's very quiet at night. Taxis can drop you right at the entrance, and it's close to everything for exploring. The large bathtub was great for a relaxing soak, and the air conditioning had a heating function, plus there was an electric blanket. A special shout-out to the young man who runs the place; he was super responsive whenever we had a question and even lent us his e-scooter.

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was spacious, modern, and comfortable, providing plenty of space to relax after a day of sightseeing. The room service was prompt, efficient, and attentive, with the staff always happy to help. One feature we particularly appreciated was the pillow menu, which offered different types of pillows to suit individual sleeping preferences and made our stay even more comfortable. The fitness centre was also well equipped, with a good variety of machines and equipment, making it easy to keep up with our workout routine while travelling. Overall, this is a comfortable and well-managed hotel with excellent service and facilities. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Dali.

The B&B's location is fantastic; you can drive right up to the entrance, and getting around is super convenient. It's just a short walk west to the old town's core, but the soundproofing is excellent, so it truly offers a peaceful retreat despite being in a lively area. The owner has great taste and an eye for aesthetics. The courtyard is spotless, and they offer a breakfast set. Guests are also very considerate. For this location and price, it's definitely a good deal. Highly recommended! However, in summer, you do need to be mindful of humidity and mosquitoes. But the owner provided mosquito repellent and an electric mosquito swatter, and surprisingly, we had no issues at all at night. We even turned mosquito hunting into a fun game, which my kid absolutely loved!

Heartwarming Service but Disappointing Room Layout & Location 1. Amazing Staff Support: • As foreigners without Chinese phone numbers, we couldn't rent the ”Snoopy” electric cars. The staff went above and beyond, using their own accounts to scan, pay, and even remotely lock/unlock the cars for us throughout the day. They even handled the return process when there were technical issues. • Flexible Service: They were kind enough to serve breakfast at 8:00 AM (30 minutes earlier than scheduled) to accommodate our early plans. ＞＞＞ The staff here are the biggest plus. They were incredibly welcoming, enthusiastic, and supported us throughout our stay in Dali. Whether it was helping with our heavy luggage or providing local recommendations, their hospitality was genuine and much appreciated. 2. Room Layout: Not as Expected We booked a ”2-bedroom suite,” but it was actually two separate rooms with private entrances and no shared indoor area. The second room was extremely small; with two large suitcases open, there was almost no space to move. The photos on the listing were quite misleading regarding this separate layout. 3. Location & Accessibility The homestay is in a quiet, isolated area with no shops or restaurants within walking distance. You have to take a taxi for everything (5–30 mins to major attractions), which adds significant costs to your trip. ===＞ While the people here are wonderful, the high price doesn't quite match the room's convenience and location. Best suited for those who don't mind taking taxis and want a quiet stay.

The front desk handles check-ins quickly and efficiently, eliminating long waits and allowing guests to control their sightseeing pace completely. They have a comprehensive grasp of the city's hidden gems and authentic local eateries, and they meticulously compile practical and thorough travel guides, thoughtfully helping guests avoid unnecessary expenses during their trip. The rooms boast excellent natural light, are spotlessly clean, and feature elegant, cozy decor that creates a warm ambiance. All furnishings are complete and thoughtfully arranged with exquisite taste. The bedding is soft and fluffy, ensuring a fantastic night's sleep, quiet and relaxing. The freshly made breakfast is delicious and authentically flavored, with a wide array of dishes to choose from. Ingredients are sourced fresh and locally, guaranteeing safety and peace of mind.

This guesthouse in Dali is absolutely fantastic! The room was spotless, clean, and tidy with no overlooked corners. The bedding was incredibly soft, skin-friendly, and fresh, making for a super comfortable stay. The whole house is equipped with smart home features, which are simple and convenient to use – a real blessing for anyone who loves ease. The owner was warm and thoughtful, patiently answering all our questions and even recommending some local, lesser-known activities, which was incredibly heartwarming. The location is also convenient for getting around. The overall experience was top-notch. If you're coming to Dali, choosing this place is a no-brainer. I genuinely recommend it to all my friends!
