QQingqingzifairyMy best friend and I did a ton of research for our Dali trip, specifically looking for picture-perfect spots, and we definitely didn't regret choosing Huayin Nanyang! The retro Nanyang style decor is incredibly tasteful. Our room was spacious and had floor-to-ceiling windows, offering panoramic views of Erhai Lake right from the bed. The ground floor was a photogenic dream – every shot looked like it belonged in a magazine. The influencer-favorite swing by the sea was the cherry on top; pictures with seagulls flying by were just stunning! After a tiring day, we returned to the hotel to find a thoughtful bowl of warm white fungus soup waiting for us. These little details really make all the difference – it was such a heartwarming touch!

DDianaDDThe views are stunning, the environment is comfortable and peaceful, and the facilities are comprehensive. The toiletries are thoughtfully chosen, and you can even enjoy a bath! The complimentary afternoon tea and breakfast are delicious, and the service is incredibly attentive and detailed. The staff, both gentlemen and ladies, helped with our luggage during check-in and check-out, which was very considerate! The free shuttle service is also a great perk! And the complimentary laundry service was perfect for washing all our clothes from the previous few days! My only minor complaint is that the shower drain was a bit slow, causing water to pool into the toilet area. This could be improved. We'll definitely be back next time!

MM322358****The butler service was exceptional; they were highly efficient and enthusiastic in addressing any issues. The environment is pleasant, and you can take a taxi right to the entrance, where parking is also very convenient. The room itself was clean and beautiful!

GGuest UserManager Chen and the front desk team are hospitable and take very good care of the guests. They are constantly on the lookout to check that we are well rested and taking measures to protect ourselves against the high UV rays and elevation levels of Dali. Hotel is very well located in a quiet high end residential area within short walking distance to a modern mall. We can also watch sunrise at the lakeside ＜100 m away. We had a very enjoyable stay.

GGuest UserChoosing Fengshen Seaview Hotel in Shuanglang was absolutely the right decision! The overall two-tone design is incredibly stylish, making every casual photo look like an influencer's perfect shot, complete with a natural 'vibe' filter. The room directly faces Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, offering expansive, unobstructed views. You can witness stunning Erhai sunsets without even leaving your room – the scenery is just incredible. The service is also exceptionally thoughtful and attentive, and there's even a lovely afternoon tea. My stay here was fantastic; it's just so relaxing to stay here when visiting Dali~

TTraveling Family from GermanyWe had a very smooth experience from arrival to departure. The hotel organised a transfer from Dali Railway Station, which worked perfectly. Upon arrival, we were immediately helped with our luggage. Check-in was straightforward and worked without any issues for foreign guests. Basic English is spoken, which is fully sufficient for communication.
The hotel itself is small and built in a beautiful traditional Chinese style, with a lot of wood and a charming inner courtyard with warm lighting in the evening. The rooms are duplex-style: a cosy living room downstairs and a rustic bedroom upstairs, plus a balcony with a lovely view of the surrounding mountain peaks. The design feels authentic and calm. Bathrooms are slightly lower in height, so guests above 1.80m might find them a bit tight. Cleanliness throughout the property is excellent. Despite the traditional architecture, all modern comforts are available: fast and stable internet, strong heating in both living room and bedroom (important in winter), and a generally very comfortable atmosphere.
The location is near the Three Pagodas, just outside the main tourist development zone. You can walk to the first restaurants within minutes, and there is even a local restaurant directly next to the hotel. The Three Pagodas are within very easy walking distance, and from there you can conveniently use DiDi or rental scooters to reach other sights around Dali.
Breakfast can be taken either in a small dining room or delivered to the room. It is local Chinese style, adapted to the region, very tasty and served with a smile. Great coffee is available.
Checkout was simple, and the hotel arranged our return transfer as well. We even received a small souvenir gift per room, which was a very thoughtful touch.
Overall, this hotel is a real highlight in Dali. It feels like stepping back in time, but without sacrificing modern comfort. It is ideal both for exploring the main attractions and for simply relaxing in a quiet, peaceful setting away from the busier city areas.

GGuest UserThe concierge arranged everything quite well for us. We stayed on the 4th floor, which was convenient for going out through the side exit. It was super easy to hail a taxi from there. There aren't many dining options nearby, but the hotel offers a 5-photo scenic travel photoshoot.

They meticulously confirmed my arrival time and check-in details in advance. Check-in was quick and seamless upon arrival, not wasting any time; no unnecessary procedures or long waits. They were also proactive in helping with any issues I encountered during my stay. They know all the hidden gems and stunning photo spots nearby, and carefully curated travel plans for dining, accommodation, and activities, helping guests avoid all sorts of hidden travel traps. The room was bright, clean, and clutter-free, with a minimalist, artistic, and calming decor. Every detail, from the layout to the furnishings, was meticulously arranged. The bedding was skin-friendly, breathable, and soft, making for an exceptionally comfortable sleep every night. The breakfast was rich in flavor and authentically local, with a diverse selection of dishes catering to both northern and southern palates. Ingredients were sourced fresh daily, organic and free from additives. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful, with a strong local vibe, making for a livable and serene environment. The value for money is genuinely superb. I've already recommended it to all my family and friends, and I will definitely be staying here again on future trips.
