5 star service from the front staff! they reimbursed my taxi fare cos they couldn’t reach me… carried my heavy luggage too! helpful service which made my 1 night stay very enjoyable!!! location is abit far from tourist spots but close to erhai lake park… you can literally walk to the park!!! if you are looking for quiet and seaviews, this is the stay for you!! oh and there’s a mini mart on the right side of the hotel… how convenient 🫶👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The facilities are brand new and well-equipped, and the service is exceptional. They helped us with our luggage and even saw us off to our car. Every day, they delivered breakfast and afternoon tea to our room, along with tremella soup. They were always ready to assist with any request. This is a truly fantastic hotel, and I love the exterior design. You can get some great photos without even leaving the hotel.

The room I stayed in was incredibly spacious, bright, and clean. The air conditioning worked perfectly for cooling, and both the hot and cold water temperature and pressure were excellent. I had a really good night's sleep. The service was also fantastic. All necessary information, including the WiFi password, breakfast details, and laundry service, was sent promptly via WeChat. The room even had an umbrella and a canvas bag for guest use. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered a good variety of food. It's a perfect location for setting off on a bike ride along the Erhai Lake West Corridor, and it's not overly noisy or crowded. It's also not far from Dali Old Town, Three Pagodas Park, and Xizhou Ancient Town.

I forgot to take pictures, but the room was really big and beautiful, and you could get some sun in the mornings. The guesthouse is inside the ancient city but not in the busiest area, so it's very quiet at night. Taxis can drop you right at the entrance, and it's close to everything for exploring. The large bathtub was great for a relaxing soak, and the air conditioning had a heating function, plus there was an electric blanket. A special shout-out to the young man who runs the place; he was super responsive whenever we had a question and even lent us his e-scooter.

The hotel's location is superb, making it very convenient for getting around, shopping, and dining – excellent accessibility all around. The breakfast buffet completely exceeded our expectations. The variety was rich and comprehensive, catering to both Chinese and Western tastes with a vast selection. The ingredients were fresh and authentic, and dishes were replenished promptly. The taste and quality were on point, making every bite a comfortable and reassuring experience. The hotel's amenities are excellent, including a self-service laundry room, which is incredibly practical for long trips and family travel, perfectly solving laundry woes on the go. Throughout our stay, the service was meticulous, thoughtful, professional, and attentive. The entire experience was comfortable and hassle-free. From the hardware facilities and environmental hygiene to the quality of service, everything was impeccable. It's definitely a top choice for accommodation when traveling, and I will prioritize staying here again on my next trip!

This was my first time in Yunnan, and I specifically chose this guesthouse because it's right next to a police station. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming, helping us with our luggage and giving us great tips for sightseeing. The courtyard is spacious and quiet, and it's only about a ten-minute walk to the ancient city. I really wished I could have stayed another day or two if my itinerary wasn't already set. Coming back around 11 PM, almost all the streetlights were off, but the guesthouse still had a super bright light on at the entrance, which I found incredibly thoughtful. We woke up late, and the kitchen had thoughtfully saved breakfast for us. The breakfast was very plentiful and made fresh by local aunties. Their human touch really surpasses many large hotels. If I ever come back to Dali, or if friends visit, I will definitely highly recommend this guesthouse.

Our 'butler service' means you get a dedicated butler providing one-on-one service from the moment you check in. They'll contact you in advance to confirm your arrival time, arrange shuttle pick-up, and send friendly reminders about breakfast times and other important notes via group chat. Facilities: The hairdryer's airflow is really weak, not even as strong as the wind off Erhai Lake! The bedside lamp isn't working, but everything else is okay. Cleanliness: Clean, tidy, and no strange smells – pretty good. Environment: The space is large and bright. My only complaint is the view from the window isn't great. Service: The service is excellent; anything we needed was delivered to the room very quickly, and the breakfast tasted good. Honestly, the view from the guest room window is quite disappointing.

Heartwarming Service but Disappointing Room Layout & Location 1. Amazing Staff Support: • As foreigners without Chinese phone numbers, we couldn't rent the ”Snoopy” electric cars. The staff went above and beyond, using their own accounts to scan, pay, and even remotely lock/unlock the cars for us throughout the day. They even handled the return process when there were technical issues. • Flexible Service: They were kind enough to serve breakfast at 8:00 AM (30 minutes earlier than scheduled) to accommodate our early plans. ＞＞＞ The staff here are the biggest plus. They were incredibly welcoming, enthusiastic, and supported us throughout our stay in Dali. Whether it was helping with our heavy luggage or providing local recommendations, their hospitality was genuine and much appreciated. 2. Room Layout: Not as Expected We booked a ”2-bedroom suite,” but it was actually two separate rooms with private entrances and no shared indoor area. The second room was extremely small; with two large suitcases open, there was almost no space to move. The photos on the listing were quite misleading regarding this separate layout. 3. Location & Accessibility The homestay is in a quiet, isolated area with no shops or restaurants within walking distance. You have to take a taxi for everything (5–30 mins to major attractions), which adds significant costs to your trip. ===＞ While the people here are wonderful, the high price doesn't quite match the room's convenience and location. Best suited for those who don't mind taking taxis and want a quiet stay.

Blindly picked Vanso with a friend and it turned out to be a hidden gem! The small courtyard with its lush greenery is lovely, just like having your own backyard. Perfect for relaxing, sipping coffee, and chatting. The decor is simple and gentle, the bath amenities are high-quality, and every corner is spotlessly clean. The concierge staff are incredibly friendly and approachable; they patiently gave us recommendations for local food and must-visit spots, and were always available when we needed anything. We spent a whole day holed up in our room, enjoying the peace and quiet. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and we even got a sweet treat in the evening. The value for money far exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Dali.
