GGuest UserThe room is compact but fully functional, conveniently located right next to Wankdorf station. It's so easy to get around; you can literally leave two minutes before your train departs and still catch it. Essential cooking utensils and knives are provided, so you can buy ingredients from Coop or Migros and cook your own meals, which is a lifesaver for Chinese guests missing home cooking.

GGuest UserHotel looks great. Rooms are spacious and we had a free mini bar. However, the room gets humid soon when you take a shower and the airconditioning/ventilation isn’t the best. We could also hear our neighbors upstairs well. Furthermore, the cleaning staff took our room key with them and forgot to refill the mini bar.

AAlberto Gómez PiñaThe Hotel is very nice. The staff is great and cool. Modern decoration everywhere, also in the rooms. All is well equipped. The only thing we didn’t like is the food, very limited and not too tasty (all is defrosted in microwave). Also the parking, is public and 30chf per day. The overall experience is very positive. There is no doubt that we will repeat in another moxy as they are all over the globe.

GGuest UserFrom arrival it felt I was judged as I just came for hike and now in my going out clothes.
3am footsteps above ere so pound kept me awake, moving at that time caused me anxiety so I tried putting my headphones in. 7am it started again.
I came to check out and mentioned it and basically was told off my the male reception most for not coming to them and then asked for city tax. Customer care was zero! I was tired and upset and all I got was rudeness. At 3am I don’t want to be moving room. I hasn’t asked for a refund. Maybe a coffee or a wave of the city tax would have been nice rather that this lack of regard.
Never ever will I stay here again and I would highly appreciate a chat with the manager as I am not happy about this treatment.

JJass_30I had a wonderful stay at Youth Hostel Bern. Everything about this place was excellent. The location is perfect — very close to the main railway station, and buses and trams are easily available, which made traveling around the city super convenient.
The hostel itself is very nice, neat, and clean. The rooms were comfortable, and the bedding was fresh, tidy, and well arranged. Bathrooms and toilets were extremely clean, which made the stay even more comfortable.
The environment of the hostel is pleasant and welcoming. On top of that, the breakfast was superb with great options to start the day.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend Youth Hostel Bern to anyone visiting the city.

GGuest UserHotel is just beside the train station. All attractions is within walking distance. There is a supermarket nearby and shipping mall. They also provide free local transport during our stay.

GGuest Userplace are in center of bern. everything is nearby and walking distance , can save more pennies . you dont need an cab at all. railways is next, even beautiful viewpoint is just 10 mins walk. the clock tower just 5 mins walk. and so easy to check in. all is just on ur mobile phone apps. happy with my stay. with our spacious room. i dont have proper photos. since we have early check out. but is looks way more bigger than picture. can accomodate even 5 person in bed . it says double but i think both bed are queen size. 🤣🥰❤️
so comfy bed too.

as stated that they will provide ”2 king beds” in the room, that's totally not true, only 1 king size bed and 1 sofa bed only
and the front office told us that this hotel did not have any rooms with 2 beds actually, so just be careful
and unfortunately, the room provides a open kitchen, yet the cooker is not working
for tourists staying in the hotel, you will have a free ticket for the local bus, but please do ask the front office unless you may not get it (luckily we search online and find out this, so we go back to the front office and ask for it)
Other than that, the location of this hotel is very convenient, just few mins from the station.

GGuest UserA good hotel local to the city and accessible by tram, in a quiet location. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable with a view of the city. The room contains a fridge stocked with refreshments that you have to pay for with tea and coffee provided. The bathroom contained little touches with sealed packets of ear buds, nail file and tooth picks which is nice touch. Buffet breakfast was good with a nice variety of food catering for all tastes however the plates are quite small so be prepared for a few trips back and forth to the buffet. The pool was good but cold when first entering so be prepared ro swim a few laps ro warm up.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a short walk to both the subway and train stations, which was a real game-changer for anyone traveling by public transport. Whether catching an early morning train or returning late at night, it was stress-free and significantly saved travel time and energy. Despite the smaller room size, its outstanding cleanliness and superb location still make it a highly recommended stay.
