The room was a duplex, with the bed upstairs and a sofa, TV, and bathroom downstairs. It was quite clean, and the Guangzhou Tower was pretty close, about a 15-minute walk. I didn't realize when I booked that the bed and bathroom were on separate floors, which was quite inconvenient when staying with a child. Going to the bathroom meant going downstairs. Ordering takeout was easy, but the robot delivery system wasn't great. It arrived at the door, but without instructions, it left. When I called the front desk, they said I needed to leave the door ajar for the robot not to leave, which seems a bit illogical! Also, I had to go to the front desk to get breakfast vouchers, and I only found out when an auntie there reminded me as I was about to get breakfast. The front desk didn't inform me during check-in. The hotel wasn't cheap, and I don't feel it was worth the price!

I always end up staying here for every exhibition, but honestly, the rooms are tiny, like something you'd get for 200-300 yuan. The place is a real maze with so many rooms. The inward-opening window was a pain. I only stayed one night, and honestly, I'd rather go to a hotel further away than stay here again. Because the room was so small, the ventilation was really poor, and there was an unpleasant odor I couldn't quite place.

I stumbled upon this hotel online and decided to book it after seeing its prices and room types fit our family trip. We booked three rooms this time. It took about 20 minutes to get there by taxi from Guangzhou East Station. The return trip by subway was about 50 minutes, which was a bit of a hassle as we had luggage and had to transfer lines once 😂. The hotel is conveniently located near Tangxia subway station and bus stops. There are many restaurants and shops nearby, and the street lights make it very lively at night. There are two hotels on this street, and to be honest, this one's facade isn't as impressive as the one next door 😂. The 2nd and 3rd floors are commercial, and rooms are on the 4th to 6th floors, with only one elevator. We booked rooms on the newly renovated 4th floor. Check-in was relatively quick upon arrival, and our rooms were ready. The front desk staff were polite and welcoming. Overall, the rooms were spacious and the facilities were decent. My only minor complaint is that the bathroom floor is elevated, which can be a bit inconvenient. The air conditioning is a standalone unit. The one thing I'd really commend is the excellent ventilation in the bathroom 🤣. As for soundproofing, it's definitely a weak point. I already anticipated this when booking as they mentioned providing earplugs 😂. On the first night, I heard karaoke singing before falling asleep, and loud shouting from outside was very clear. On the second night, I could hear loud conversations from the adjacent room. Also, I could vaguely hear the sound of toilets flushing and water draining from the shower in the next room 😂. Furthermore, my room was directly above a restaurant, so in the morning, I'd get an automatic alarm clock announcing 'payment received xxx' 🤣. The air conditioner in one of the rooms was dripping, thankfully we discovered it in the morning. If it had been dripping all night, the accumulated water could have caused a slip and fall 🧐. Another morning, I opened my door to find a delivery order outside. I immediately told the staff it wasn't ours. The receipt showed it was placed at around 1 AM, and it was still by my door when I returned that evening 🤨. I had to call the front desk again for them to finally remove it. On a positive note, I'd like to praise the cleaning lady – she was exceptionally good.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Bottled water was complimentary, which was a nice touch. The environment was pleasant, and the facilities were comprehensive. It's very close to Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, and it was wonderfully quiet at night, ensuring a good night's sleep. I highly recommend staying here, especially if you're in town for an exam.

The room was clean and hygienic, and its close proximity to the city center made getting around very convenient. There are plenty of local food options nearby. Right across the street is an elementary school, so there are many snacks to try when school lets out 😋. The room itself was large, spacious, and very clean, and the projector was super convenient to use. Toiletries were replaced daily and were all disposable. I'm very satisfied and will definitely come back again!

I've stayed here many times, and the staff always upgrades my room. It's very clean, and the facilities are all there. There are a lot of food options downstairs, and the front desk even provides disposable earplugs. It's great, I'll definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

This hotel was managed by a new company a month ago, not under Atour X hotel group anymore, but it still retains the Atour service standards. Staffs are friendly and helpful. However, the breakfast variety has been cut, still very good overall. And the shower room is quite a problem for us, we had never experienced such a small space to take a bath, the clothes hanger string is in the way of the shower head direction, and my towel took a bath as well when I take a bath.

The location is excellent, very close to the subway station. The environment is great, very clean, and the service is impeccable. The smart voice control for lights and curtains is super convenient, making it the perfect choice for business trips or travel!

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Guangzhou – Five Stars. Fantastic little hotel tucked into the vibrant hustle and bustle of Guangzhou. I was initially cautious because the room rate was so low, and I wasn’t expecting much. In fact, I wasn’t even sure if the room had an attached bathroom and was mentally prepared for a shared one. To my pleasant surprise, the hotel turned out to be a proper, clean, and well-run establishment. My room had an attached bathroom with crisp, clean towels. The air conditioner worked perfectly and even had a heating option for winter. The room size was more than reasonable for the price I paid. What truly stood out was the reception staff. They were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and empathetic. On two occasions, they arranged taxis for us and even stepped outside to make sure we got into the right car—speaking to the driver if needed. Their care and attention made a real difference. My compliments to the staff and a heartfelt thank you. I will definitely stay here again.

Just wanted to escape from home and have some quiet time alone. This hotel right next to Tangxia Metro Station is actually really good. There are plenty of places to eat and shop around here. After a satisfying meal, I could even work out a bit in the small gym back at the hotel. Then, back in the room, a refreshing shower, and I could roll around freely on the super luxurious 2.4-meter bed. Woke up to a rich and varied buffet breakfast. Couldn't be more content! 👍👍👍
