The front desk staff were very friendly, both when I called to confirm my booking and during check-in. The room was quite basic, but overall comfortable, and the bathroom was reasonably clean, not looking dirty or having significant signs of wear like water stains. Breakfast was pretty standard; most of the dishes were cold, and not many people were eating, but it was enough to fill up.
Had a galactical stay ✨ Clean and nice environment. Friendly and helpful staff. Was a nice experience sleeping in a spaceship which also offers privacy by sleeping in your own space. Colors of the lights are adjustable 🌈 :)

The hotel is really close to Luodong train station, making it super convenient to get to famous milk rolls, various eateries, and the night markets. Qinggou Night Market is also fantastic and easily accessible from here.
I loved that the bathroom had two showerheads, and the TV could be rotated, which was great for watching Netflix.
However, the electrical outlets were quite loose when plugging things in, which could definitely be improved.

The hotel is in an excellent location, with a convenient parking lot. Although the hotel facilities are old, they are well maintained. It is very quiet at night. There are not many breakfast items but they are all delicious. The staff has a friendly service attitude. I will choose again next time Check in!
A large-scale leisure and business hotel in Luodong Jingjing business circle.
Kavalan Hotel is located in front of the railway station and goes straight for about 500 meters. It is only a 15-minute drive from the venue of the International Children's Play Festival (Dongshan River Water Park & Wulaokeng Scenic Area), and walk to the famous Luodong Night Market It only takes 3 minutes!
Neo-classical style guest rooms, both elegant and comfortable, tall and spacious; especially with floor-to-ceiling viewing windows, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Guishan Island and the plain, and the town scenery is always in sight.

The location is very central, almost within walking distance of Luodong Night Market, Yih Shun Hsing, Ah-Wan, and various drink shops. The hotel also offers free parking.
The location is in the city center, right next to the night market! So filling up on food in the middle of the night is absolutely not a problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Standing next to Luodong Sports Park, Jiuwu Hotel has comfortable guest rooms with large floor-to-ceiling windows. The considerate and professional services make you feel like you are at home away from home. Especially located in a moderate location of tourist attractions, only five minutes' drive from Luodong Railway Station, the traffic is very convenient, which will save you more time.

Although the hotel's furnishings are not that new, they are clean and tidy, and the double room has enough space. It is also good to use a split air-conditioner. The only drawback is that the water pressure is not stable enough when taking a shower.
The attitude of the service staff is very good, both at the counter and in the restaurant. Breakfast was also good.

Highlight is definitely the common room, very comfy and set up in a way which is ideal for playing games together and getting to know new people.
Beds are comfy with curtains and showers and bathrooms are clean.
Bicycles are also available, really convenient way to grab a quick snack, since the hostel is admittedly not in super short walking distance to many things.
Great place to stay in Yilan.
The surrounding area is quiet, and I come here often. It's pet-friendly (but it's best to keep your own pet well-behaved). There's parking available, and a balcony. A FamilyMart convenience store is within walking distance. Once you've been here and are familiar with the roads, driving to Luodong or Wujie city center is quite quick. It's a bit of a shame there's no bathtub, but my boyfriend always sleeps very well here, saying the environment is comfortable and he rarely encounters strangers, so he feels very at ease.

GGuest UserMy first stay at Yamagata Hotel was fantastic. The two security guards at the entrance were incredibly friendly and welcoming, instantly putting me at ease and lifting my spirits. From the front desk staff to the restaurant servers, housekeeping, and cleaning crew, you could truly feel the meticulous and thoughtful service throughout Yamagata Hotel. The mini-bar and snacks in the room were all complimentary, which was a very generous touch! The hot spring bathtub in every room is huge and incredibly comfortable to soak in – you don't even need to leave the room! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a high-quality accommodation experience. It's definitely worth a return visit.
GGuest UserThe environment is quiet and peaceful, and it's super close to the train station, just a three to five-minute walk to the bustling city center. The hotel staff are all friendly and enthusiastic, making us feel right at home during our stay. The room and bathroom were clean, and they provided coffee and tea. The mini-fridge had complimentary drinks, plus a delightful surprise: high-quality facial masks replenished daily! There was also a selection of pillows with different firmness levels to choose from. Every day, there's a Happy Hour offering free red and white wine, specially crafted non-alcoholic drinks, ginger tea, and some snacks.
AAi Lun. CThe bustling downtown and market are just a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. Nearly all the staff were incredibly friendly and professional in answering our questions. This trip marked our seven-month anniversary, and it added so many wonderful memories as we head towards our eighth month together.
Upon check-in, the hotel learned we were celebrating our anniversary and thoughtfully upgraded us to a mountain-view room. The in-room welcome drinks were incredibly generous, featuring mini beers, plum wine, coke, and Pocari Sweat – essential for rehydration after a soak; they even included face masks to pamper us while we enjoyed the in-room hot spring bath.
All the room's fixtures and fittings were new and high-quality: a Toto washlet, a Panasonic 1400 nanoe hairdryer, a thoughtful wooden gua sha massage comb, and hyaluronic acid-infused shower gel that left skin feeling smooth and soft. What truly amazed me were the double-layered automatic curtains (even in the room's private hot spring area!). The double room's bathtub was spacious enough for up to four people – a very comfortable size.
In the afternoon, the lobby offered preserved fruits and freshly brewed tea, perfect for a relaxing break after a dip in the outdoor public hot spring. After dinner, they provided handmade kumquat-flavored tofu pudding, and it was unlimited – so generous! (There's a lovely staff member in the lobby, Tina, who's a treasure trove of recommendations for local food and sights; don't hesitate to ask her for her secret list of must-try places!)
Last but not least, I highly recommend trying the hotel's breakfast, especially the freshly blanched beef soup. Even my boyfriend, who grew up in Tainan, the home of beef soup, couldn't stop raving about it.
*If you're planning a weekday visit like we did and want to try some local famous eateries, be sure to check their opening hours in advance. Many popular spots are only open from Friday to Sunday or during specific hours, like mornings until 2 PM. (Luckily, you can find a lot of food on Uber Eats!)
Heartily recommend!
薇薇vivi1. The hotel is new, the surroundings are quiet, and parking is convenient.
2. The room is clean with excellent natural light, and you can see Guishan Island in the distance from the balcony.
3. They offer a thoughtful snack service, so you don't have to worry about getting hungry late at night.
4. The breakfast selection is diverse and plentiful.
5. I would definitely come back again; it was a great stay.
GGuest UserThe hot spring was lovely! They have both a public pool and private baths. There's also a kids' play area on the second floor, which our children absolutely loved, and a great selection of children's books. We even wrote a bunch of postcards there and were able to mail them home for free as a souvenir – what a nice touch!
GGuest UserThe hotel breakfast staff were incredibly polite and always smiling, making the start of the day very pleasant. The restaurant area even preserved the original large trees, designing around them beautifully, and they are very well-maintained – fantastic! The bathroom and soaking tub in our room type this time were quite spacious, giving a very comfortable feeling. 👍
However, there was a thick layer of dust on some counter surfaces in the room and under the bed, which might need more attention from housekeeping.
DDordor^^For this price, I highly recommend this hotel. The location is super convenient, with a convenience store, restaurants, a pharmacy, and the Yishunxuan souvenir shop right downstairs. Tangweigou Hot Spring Park and its market are also nearby, and it's only about a 5-minute walk to Jiaoxi Station.
I was very satisfied with the room's cleanliness and the service. The twin room was spacious, with two extra-large double beds that were more than enough for two people – very comfortable. Don't expect much from the welcome drinks and snacks though, haha! We were lucky to encounter a staff member who spoke Cantonese, and she was incredibly helpful. A big thank you to her!
DdyhxConvenient location in Luodong city centre, walking distance to Luodong Night Market, Luodong Forestry Cultural Park with a supermarket and convenience stores nearby too. The hotel is on level 6 within a building with a few other accommodation chains and offices. There's a car park just opposite the building. I love the decor here, from the clean, sleek interior at reception to the rooms. There are instant coffee and tea bags, and hot/cold filtered water on tap available at the common area just in front of the reception that is open to all guests. They have just 18 rooms here, in varying room types, sizes and interior design but they all look great! I love the use of positive messages on coloured backgrounds for the doors. I had a corner room which was spacious and clean. Bed and pillow were a little softer than I would like but that's just personal preference. Basic amenities are provided and I love the open wardrobe concept too.
The staff here are amazing. So helpful, so friendly. I'm particularly impressed by the location map they've put together to share with guests on recommended food to try in the vicinity and mostly on point! For this price, it's super value for money.
LLoy T YHotel is near to Yilan Railway Station. The night market is just nearby. There are plenty of eateries around the hotel. Great beef noodle shop operated just beside the hotel. The price of accommodation is good. Big room.
GGuest UserThe location is convenient, about a 10-minute walk to Luodong Night Market. There's a *** across from the hotel, and nearby are some delicious stinky tofu and noodle restaurants. The room facilities are cozy and simply furnished, which is great for light travelers and offers good value for money. There's also a self check-in machine on the ground floor, which is quite convenient.
