The sea-view room offered an unbeatable, breathtaking view. I didn't even need to leave the room; I could just relax on the sofa or lie in bed and enjoy the ocean. It was a shame it was cloudy, so I missed the sunset. The hotel is very close to Badaguan Scenic Area, so we could walk there and avoid the hassle of finding parking. The front desk staff, as well as the restaurant and housekeeping ladies, were all very helpful. The hotel's location is superb, directly across from the beach and with a bathing beach right to its right.

Facilities: This is an older hotel. The facilities are a bit dated, but the hot water supply is excellent. The room layout is quite interesting and would be perfect for families with older children. Each room comes with a balcony overlooking Qingdao.
Service: Huge thanks to the two floor attendants, Ms. 5127 and Ms. 5055, who were incredibly helpful. We stayed for two days, and as we had a large group, we needed extra chairs. Attendant 5127 went out of her way to find us more chairs and mineral water. Attendant 5055 was also very enthusiastic, providing us with mineral water and great sightseeing tips. We really appreciate the hotel's warm hospitality.
Environment: The hotel is located right across the street from the beach. The lobby entrance offers foot-washing facilities, clean towels, and slippers. The lobby hygiene is well-maintained, and the transportation is very convenient. Several attractions are within walking distance. Definitely worth staying here.

Service: Traveling with a child, the front desk attendant kindly upgraded our room. All the staff were polite and greeted us warmly.

Facilities: The TV remote control was missing, so we couldn't use it at all. The washing machine was also broken. Then, the water supply was cut off at night, and the power went out again after 1 AM. We had no water or electricity all night, which was extremely inconvenient. We couldn't even wash up in the morning.
Service: When checking out, I reported the all-night power and water outage to the hotel, but received no response whatsoever. They just ignored my messages, and their attitude was extremely poor.

A German-style building in Badaguan, every time I strolled around the nearby city walk, I lived here for the first time.
Advantages:
1. The environment is really good, from the appearance, it is the small western-style building of the villa. There are also stairs inside, and the second floor is basically a loft apartment.
2. The rooms have been refurbished and refurbished, using the current popular round arc design. The color matching also makes people feel bright.
3. Outside is green trees and forests. At night, there are small insects calling, as if camping in the forest.

Stayed here for two days, it was a great experience. After playing outside all day, returning to the courtyard felt like home. Because 960 fell in love with Badaguan and the sea of Qingdao, he would go to watch the sunrise at his doorstep in the sleepy morning. It only takes six minutes to walk there, or three minutes if you run a little faster! The enthusiastic yet reserved boss and his wife don’t seem to be ordinary people, hahaha! The location of the hotel is very good, diagonally opposite the Navy Museum, directly opposite Lu Xun Park, next to the underwater world, it is also super convenient to go to the trestle bridge and Badaguan. The room was very clean and large. The room with a sea view was facing the sea. You could see the sea in the room. There is also a terrace where you can sit and blow the sea breeze. The facilities are quite complete, the wifi signal is easy to use, the front desk lady is super enthusiastic, there is a parking space at the door, and there are crowds outside. I have a quiet time in the hotel. There is coffee on the first floor and it is delicious! The picture below is a photo taken along the street.

I was very satisfied with my stay this time. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The young ladies and gentlemen at the front desk always greeted us with a warm smile and even offered to help with our luggage. Their professionalism and approachability in every action left a deep impression. The hotel's location is also very convenient, with easy access to transportation, making getting around stress-free. The room facilities were excellent, clean and tidy, and all the daily necessities were provided. Plus, there's free parking. Breakfast was plentiful and very filling. I'm being very serious with this review. The B&B is a whole building located within a villa complex. There's no elevator, but the staff at the front desk were incredibly enthusiastic about helping me carry my luggage up and down. I kept mentioning how heavy my suitcase was, but they were so warm and didn't let me lift a finger. If I messaged them about replenishing supplies or taking out the trash, they'd reply instantly, even at 3 AM. The floor-to-ceiling windows on the third floor offer a direct view of the sea. Although another building and some trees block a bit of it, the view is truly breathtaking, no words can do it justice. However, I need to point out the downsides, and these are very important. The soundproofing is terrible. I stayed in the hotel for three days without leaving because I genuinely couldn't sleep well in the mornings or evenings. I ended up dozing off and napping throughout the day. You can see in pictures 2, 3, and 4 that right at the top of the stairs, three room doors are directly next to each other. I could hear every word of what my neighbors were saying. One morning, a woman knocked on my door, and when I asked who it was, she actually told me to open it. I messaged the front desk, and after checking the surveillance, they found it was someone from next door. The conversation was so clear that I thought she was knocking on my door. During the day, there are a lot of people coming and going downstairs – residents walking their dogs, strolling around the complex, and people heading to the beach. I could hear all their conversations clearly from upstairs. It was hard to even open the curtains during the day because the buildings are close together, and people talking on the street below could just look up and see right into the room with the large floor-to-ceiling windows. This review is completely genuine, without any exaggeration or malice. The location is excellent, and the service is great. But the soundproofing and privacy issues are truly not guaranteed.

SShengsheng_This was my first time staying at an Atour Light hotel. The style is really interesting, with a predominantly blue theme, making it feel more geared towards a younger crowd.
The room size was pretty standard, not particularly large, but the cleanliness and service were excellent in every aspect. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and quickly helped with any requests we had.
However, the biggest issue with the room was the poor soundproofing. You could clearly hear people laughing or talking loudly in nearby rooms. This is definitely something that could use improvement.

From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the spotless cleanliness throughout the entire property. The lobby was bright and inviting, the hallways were pristine, and our room was immaculate. It’s clear that the housekeeping team takes great pride in their work, and it made our stay feel both safe and luxurious.
The staff deserves a special mention. Every team member we encountered, from the front desk to the dining area, was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. They greeted us with genuine smiles, were always ready with a local recommendation, and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Their positive attitude really set the tone for our entire trip.
Now, let’s talk about the breakfast – it was excellent! We’ve stayed at many hotels where the complimentary breakfast is a bit of an afterthought, but not here. There was a fantastic variety of selections to choose from. We enjoyed hot items like waffles and scrambled eggs, fresh fruits, pastries, and healthy yogurts. The coffee was always fresh and piping hot, and there was a great selection of teas and chilled juices to start our day right. It’s a real game-changer to begin a day of exploring with such a satisfying and delicious meal.
What truly sealed the deal for us was the incredible value. The price was very reasonable, especially when compared to other hotels in a similar category that we've stayed at in Qingdao. You get so much more for your money here—the excellent breakfast, the modern, clean rooms, and the wonderful service make it a standout choice.
The location was another huge plus for us. The hotel is conveniently located near the metro, making it incredibly easy to get around the city without a car. Furthermore, the surrounding area is vibrant and full of life! We loved being able to step outside and find great restaurants, cafes, and shops within walking distance. It felt like we were in the heart of the action.
Finally, as non-smokers, we greatly appreciated that the entire hotel, including all rooms, was completely smoke-free. It made the environment so much more pleasant.
In summary, our stay at the Hampton by Hilton in Qingdao was practically perfect. It offers incredible value, combining cleanliness, exceptional service, a delicious breakfast, and a prime location. Breakfast is incredibly rich and varied, and the location is fantastic – just a few minutes' walk to May Fourth Square, and right across the street from Qingdao's bustling MixC mall. Winni, the staff member who checked us in, had an exceptional service attitude; seeing that we had elderly family with us, she thoughtfully arranged a non-smoking room on a quiet floor. The hotel gym is also quite good. The only minor issue is that the underground parking is a bit like a maze, but the parking attendant was very kind.

KKelvinTraveling with my child, I booked a king-sized bed room and was worried about the space, but the front desk upgraded us to a family-themed room, which was incredibly thoughtful! The upgraded room was a wonderful surprise, complete with a B.Duck themed tent, a Ludo game rug, and cartoon pillows. My child had a blast as soon as we entered, and all our travel fatigue instantly disappeared. The room had excellent natural light, with warm sunshine streaming through the large French windows. The wooden floor was warm and comfortable, allowing adults to relax and children to play without bothering each other.
The hotel lobby is grand and elegant, and there's also a 'Bird Club' kids' play area with slides and rocking horses, making it super convenient for parents to relax while their kids play. Molly, a staff member, provided smiling service throughout, and check-in was efficient and patient, full of care in every detail. This hotel is my top choice for family trips; the proactive and warm gesture of upgrading our room was a huge plus. I highly recommend it to families visiting Qingdao with children!

GGuest UserThe room's location is pretty good, quite close to Licang District center, Wanda Plaza, and Licun Night Market, and transportation is also very convenient. The front desk service attitude was also good. The downside is that the room isn't very soundproof, and the TV in the room didn't work. I reported the TV issue to the front desk, but it still couldn't be watched properly. Overall, the experience was decent, and the room price wasn't expensive for a National Day holiday trip.
