GGuest UserI like the hotel a lot and have great experience. First of all the hotel is on a very good location. 5 minutes walk to the Wall (城墙 - 文昌门)and 书院门步行街 for shopping. Second, the breakfast is very good - that’s what I was looking for as I travel with two young kids. The breakfast has a lot of choice and also special food of Xi’an (肉夹馍,凉皮 and so on) My kids love the food so much. Third, the service is very warm and friendly and a special thanks to 秋,丹,梦,丽and I forgot couple of their names). They are very responsible and take action very quickly on all my requests. BTW, they will help the customer for laundry everyday, and serve sweet soup at night. One free cocktail and one free coffee while you stay. 还有伴手礼while we check out. 😊👍 I would definitely want to stay here again next time.

SSuibianguangguangH123Exceeded my expectations! The hotel staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, fulfilling all our requests promptly. The location is excellent, right within the scenic area, allowing us to re-enter Changqing Palace daily. It's also very close to the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance, and the hotel can even help with booking tickets. On our first day, the staff disinfected the room right in front of us. They even filled the hot spring bath for us around 7 PM and drained it after we finished. Plus, they served a delicious white fungus soup in the evening. My child absolutely loved our two nights here and found it very comfortable. I'll definitely return when my child is a bit older, perhaps in winter, to experience Changqing Palace in a different light. By then, my child should also be able to appreciate the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow.' (Attached is a photo of the small cake my child made with the hotel staff's guidance).

GGuest UserWhile the hotel is undeniably a bit old, it's incredibly well-maintained. The French-style decor is subtly luxurious, and the gardens are beautiful. Breakfast offers a good blend of local flavors; though not extensive, the quality of the dishes is quite decent. I particularly want to praise the hotel's desserts – they are truly exquisite French pastries. The afternoon tea is freshly made, and you can still smell the warm buttery aroma when it's served. Both the sweet and savory items are perfectly balanced, which was truly amazing. My low rating is for the service. The staff seemed very green, almost like interns. Upon arrival, there was no doorman to open the car door or help with luggage. During check-in, no one bothered to introduce the hotel's functional facilities until I specifically asked, as if they only remembered my entitlements then. The restaurant staff couldn't even distinguish table numbers when serving (which was the most laughable part). After a guest stated a request, a staff member actually just turned around and walked away. Lobby staff were loudly chatting among themselves during working hours; the guests in the lobby were quiet, but the staff were quite noisy. At check-out, the front desk staff were completely unresponsive – they didn't take the room card or say anything, just stood far away, watching me put the card on the table myself, with their hands behind their backs throughout. Ultimately, the hotel's location, its rich historical and cultural heritage, and its status as one of only six Accor Legendary hotels worldwide are all reasons guests choose to stay here. However, for a brand's sustainability and stable profitability, long-term meticulous operation and professional staff training are crucial.

JJohnTingThis is more than a hotel. It is a sanctuary in the middle of bustling Xi'an. We were always welcomed with a warm smile by the staff daily. The hotel was tastefully designed and exuded warmth and calmness. The clever use of earthly colours and heavy accent on the usage of timber created an inviting atmosphere. The usage of lightings to highlight certain objects while casting shadows around said objects created an impression of an art gallery. One word to describe this hotel.... LOVELY!!! The butler service in servicing breakfast, afternoon tea and supper was highly appreciated. One added bonus for me was that I was able to photograph Bell Tower in peace and luxury at the top open deck. Highly recommended this hotel for relaxation and also photographing Bell Tower

TTinaMThis is a lovely hotel with kind, welcoming staff. I read some reviews saying the rooms are very old etc, but I don't see how that makes this hotel any less great - the rooms are still clean and well maintained. I arrived in Xi'an after 48 hours of hectic traveling due to a missed train, and the staff at Meihao Hotel were very welcoming, were happy to use translation apps to communicate with me. The room was large, with a view of the neighbourhood outside (mostly just traffic jams haha, but that's Xi'an). The location may not be super ideal for some as it isn't in the city centre, but honestly it was no inconvenience at all, as the nearest subway station is a brisk walk away -- about 5-7 minutes. If you're arriving by train and carrying a lot of heavy luggage, then yes, coming via subway might be a bit of a challenge (but not impossible!) The housekeeping staff especially were very warm and kind. Thank you for always brightening my day when I walked by you all. A few hours after I checked in, a lovely staff member knocked on my door and offered me a small bowl of soup. I was very confused as I hadn't ordered anything, but upon seeing other guests were receiving this too, I gladly accepted. It was such an unexpected, kind gesture -- this hotel truly knows how to make one feel welcome. I fell ill on the second day of my stay, and thankfully the room was so comfortable, I could recuperate well. My only complaint is that the bedsheets, comforter, pillowcases etc -- all the bedding essentially smells of cigarette smoke. I could also smell cigarette smoke from beyond my room's door at night. This was despite there being a clear sign in the room saying smoking was not allowed inside. Though this is certainly not something you can fault hotel staff for (if guests are adamant to smoke inside, what can housekeeping possibly do?), I just thought I would mention this for any other guests who might be very sensitive to the smell, perhaps you could request staff to rewash the bedding until the smoke smell is entirely gone. After checking out, I also noticed there were some freebies that were part of my booking that I unfortunately missed out on :( There was meant to be welcome fruit, afternoon tea for two and a midnight snack, which I would have loved to try. There was no welcome fruit offered, but I did receive some refreshing juice when I arrived to check in -- it was a hot day and I was grateful for the welcome drink. For the other stuff, as I didn't realise it was part of the booking perks, I never asked, and consequently seem to have missed out. I also want to say that aside from the rooms, the lobby area is quite lovely -- very tastefully decorated, peaceful, and I even saw they had some free coffee out for guests! I only noticed this when I was checking out though, and my taxi was already on the way to pick me up, so I could not indulge. Maybe it would be helpful if the reception staff could share all this info with guests when they check in, especially with the foreign guests who are already a bit confused and trying to get their bearings ^-^ Just a suggestion! Thank you for a nice stay. I will definitely be back again soon.

AAilvxingdeYoyoThe hotel's location is truly excellent, right in the city center next to CapitaMall. There's an abundance of dining, entertainment, and shopping options all around. It's also super convenient to get to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and the Grand Tang Everbright City. Plus, they offer free parking if you're driving.

GGuest UserThis was my first stay at an Ibis hotel, and what impressed me most was how clean and tidy everything was. Although the bathroom was a bit small, it was spotless. The room didn't have a shower cap, but you could pick one up at the front desk. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and I slept really well. Hot water came quickly. The shower head and breakfast weren't particularly great, but the overall cleanliness and tidiness more than made up for these minor shortcomings. The front desk staff were also very enthusiastic and friendly, even giving out small gifts.

GGuest UserThis hotel is located right in the heart of the city, on Guangji Street, with a subway entrance just outside and a direct shuttle to the Terracotta Warriors – super convenient for getting around. It’s right next to the Muslim Quarter, offering a fantastic array of snacks, especially the Jia San steamed buns with soup and the Qishan noodles from Ziwu Road – both delicious and great value for money. The hotel rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The front desk staff are incredibly warm and helpful, always ready to assist with anything, and they even provide breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks. The aunties in the dining area are also exceptionally friendly. All the services are delivered with great care, making it absolutely deserving of a five-star rating. Plus, if you're looking for Han-Tang style makeup and costumes, you can find a shop directly across from the hotel. The quality of the clothing and the makeup artistry are both excellent, and the value is unbeatable.

Very Good
SShoumiaoWe were five grown men and had a very comfortable stay. This is a B&B in the residential complex. It's beautifully decorated, quiet, and well-equipped. The floor heating was very warm, even with the windows open, it wasn't cold, and the air conditioning worked flawlessly. The complex is well-managed, and it's right next to Wanda and two snack streets! There's a wide variety of food options, but eating in the room was so comfortable that we deliberately packed up for two nights and played mahjong and poker afterwards...we didn't want to go out. Transportation is very convenient, and the subway station is just a short walk away. Two of the bedrooms are small suites, one with a private bathroom, and the other two share a bathroom. Three bathrooms are definitely enough. In short, living in this large flat is really comfortable!

LLiguaishouThe service was excellent. On my first day, I arrived in the rain, and the front desk staff was incredibly kind. Noticing I was lightly dressed, she quickly checked for an available room and allowed me to check in. I was truly grateful for her thoughtfulness. Cleanliness: Absolutely spotless. The location is also very convenient, with a subway station and a shopping mall nearby.
