"The front desk staff were very welcoming, and the location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the metro. There's a beautiful hospital right next door, which is worth visiting. To be honest, the breakfast was pretty average. The price isn't super low, but the place is very clean."

"The hotel has a great location, just a 5-6 minute walk from the subway station and very close to the Sagrada Familia, a 10-12 minute walk away! The hotel is also very clean. The only drawback is that the soundproofing isn't very good; the door next door closes very loudly!"

"This hotel boasts an excellent location, very close to Sagrada Familia and the metro station. Although I didn't try the hotel breakfast, there's a cheap and delicious breakfast spot just a two-minute walk away that opens at 7 AM. The front desk staff were all very friendly, and check-in was a breeze. The downside is that the rooms are generally a bit old and small, and the walls are not well soundproofed. In my room, there was only a duvet cover and no duvet, which the front desk said they couldn't provide, so it was a bit cold at night. There were also no mouthwash cups in the room."

"The room was very clean, with a duvet and extra sheets. You'll need to bring your own eye mask, as roommates have different schedules and the light can really disturb sleep. Oh, and Europe uses round-hole outlets, so charging was convenient; there's a bedside area for charging and keeping small items. The shared facilities include separate shower stalls and toilets. The service was excellent; even though I left very early to see the sunrise, someone was there to handle my checkout. I only discovered the large common room on my way out, which had a fridge, microwave, and a lounge area. It's also a good distance from the Sagrada Familia, and right across the street is a fruit stand with loquats – I didn't realize Spain had them! There's a city tax and a deposit. Overall, I was satisfied."

"All the staff were very sweet and friendly. It's a 20-minute walk to Lasagrada Familia or the city center, Plaça Catalunya, but if you prefer, the 24 bus passes right in front of the hotel and you can go directly to the center. The location is great, close to everything. If you want to go to The Style Outlets Barcelona or La Roca Village, there are buses and trains from Plaça Catalunya. It was a pleasant experience. "It's really good! Every day downstairs, there's complimentary lemon-infused water. If it runs out, the front desk staff are kind enough to offer bottled water, which is greatly appreciated! Also, the hotel provides a canned drink for each guest daily, placed in the fridge – super, super grateful for that! We didn't have to go out and buy any ourselves, which is fantastic! Breakfast is quite rich and caters well to Chinese tastes! The ham (especially a spicy kind) was incredibly fragrant! There were also hot dishes like fried rice! I took so many photos; if it weren't for the 20-picture limit, I'd have posted every single dish, haha! Seriously, everyone, you MUST try the breakfast!!! Having a delicious, hot breakfast every morning is just pure bliss!!!"

"Back in Barcelona, I chose this hotel again without hesitation. There are tons of restaurants and cafes nearby, a large shopping center is just a 10-minute walk away, and Sagrada Familia is a 20-minute walk. The surrounding area is residential and feels very safe, even at night. The only minor issue is that housekeeping always seems to come during my nap time, and you have to ask for slippers at the front desk."

"The room was super spacious and well-designed. The shower had great water pressure, and there was a complimentary kettle and water available. However, after we put up the 'please clean' sign, the cleaning staff entered our room and used the hotel's bottled water, but didn't actually clean the room or refill the tissues. They even swapped our 'please clean' sign for a 'do not disturb' sign, which made it feel like they were cutting corners."

"Some very strange hotel. The refrigerator is missing, the teapot is missing, the bathroom is sized by the room. There is no even a cooler with drinking water, but there is a steep terrace almost in every room. The key from the room is to be given when you leave. Several dust, are cleaned not perfect. Maybe in Spain value minimalism, but I will not come anymore."

"Hotel Catalonia Sagrada Familia, Barcelona This hotel is well-situated for visiting the best places of interest in Barcelona - it is only a fifteen minute walk to the famous Sagrada Familia church. It is also very close to a metro station that will take you anywhere in the city, including the old city, the rail station and the airport. The reception staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful, the cleaning staff very efficient and all the amenities in the room all work well. The room is not large but perfectly adequate for a stay of a few days, the bed is comfortable with soft pillows and there is an outdoor terrace with table and chairs for a cocktail after a hard day’s sightseeing! There is also a bar and restaurant, gym and pool in the hotel so, in summary, this is a much better 3-star hotel compared against most others in Spain."
