"Had a fantastic stay! Originally wanted to book for two nights but it was fully booked. It's a great stopover point if you're heading to Kamakura. The breakfast was good, and they provided toiletries, tea bags, and even face masks at the front desk – a really nice touch. The location is excellent too; you can reach a shopping mall in just a few minutes, and the nearby ”Uofuku” restaurant is fantastic, full of locals."

"Overall, it was pretty good. Pros: 1. Just a 5-minute walk from the station, which is very convenient. 2. The price is quite reasonable for this area. 3. The staff's service attitude was excellent. Cons: 1. The room was a bit small. 2. Smoking is allowed in the rooms here, so there was a smell of smoke as soon as I entered. 3. Mineral water is not provided in the room. 4. Check-in time is 3:00 PM, which is a bit later compared to other hotels, but you can store your luggage."

"Fantastic location with incredibly high value for money. It's a 5-minute walk from the Ofuna station, and you can even see the Shonan Monorail from the window. There are plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby, including an excellent dessert shop right across the street. Plus, there's a large 24-hour supermarket just a 10-minute walk away."

"The hotel locates very close to Fujisawa station (2 minutes on foot; with escalator so no worry if you are carrying heavy bags), next to a Bic Camera (a big Bic Camera), 7-11, Lawson. It also means that you will have easy access to those department stores and shopping mall next to the station. Single room is super small, but for me it is big enough since I spent most of my time outside. It is kinda cosy actually. Breakfast was not bad. The restsurant only serves breakfast but they allow guests to use the dining area and the beverage machine outside breakfast time. I gave a 3 our of 5 for facility because it is a small hotel so there isn't many facilities plus small room. But hear me out it is good enough for the price you pay. Staffs were very nice and kind. I will stay in this hotel again if I am going to visit Fujisawa again."

"Appreciated the drinks bar area and the self-service amenities. Room key is heavy and traditional and a bit of a hassle to have to talk to the front desk everytime coming in and out of the hotel but overall everyone was nice."

"There aren't many hotels near Kamakura Station suitable for three people, so after some deliberation, I booked the Metropolitan. The value for money was a bit low, with a very tiny room costing over 1800 yen per night, but I have to say, the location is super convenient. It's just two turns after exiting the JR station. The Muji Diner on the first floor is a huge plus; I ate there twice in two days. Right next to the hotel is a Family Mart convenience store, and across the street, there's a supermarket, a drugstore, and several restaurants – basically everything you could need. The Komachi Street shopping area to the right of the JR station is easily worth three hours of browsing. One place to avoid is a BBQ restaurant on the second floor, to the right across the street; it was the worst meat I've ever had in Japan, so tough it was impossible to chew."

"The hotel's exterior and the breakfast area on the first floor are absolutely stunning. The staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast was incredibly exquisite and delicious. The location is also superb, less than a 5-minute walk from the station. The only minor downside is that the room was a bit dim, but the room design was quite beautiful, with a very artistic aesthetic."

"The room was clean and tidy, with enough space to open two 28-inch suitcases. The staff were incredibly patient and polite, and the breakfast was excellent – great value for money! Toiletries are available at the front desk as needed. Room cleaning is done every four days, but you can place used towels and full trash bins in the black storage box outside your door for replacement by staff. Just remember to put them out before 11 AM. Check-out is at 10 AM!"

"The hotel is within 10 min walk from the station but a bit difficult to find it as this hotel is in a residential area. Welcome drinks are well served and I had it for every night I stayed in the hotel. Room is so clean that you can feel relaxed."
