Hotels near Ofuna Train Station in Kamakura

We had a great stay here and really enjoyed the experience. Check-in was easy and efficient, either via the self check-in machine or with staff assistance. The lobby has a cozy, MUJI-style ambiance and provides all the basic necessities such as toothbrush, toothpaste, tea bags, lotion, and more. You can also borrow a face steamer or hair dryer near the lobby lifts, which is a nice touch. On the second floor, there are drink vending machines, an ice machine, and two washer–dryer machines. One note: I don’t recommend using the dryer—it took us almost 2 hours to dry our clothes. The room itself is standard but comfortable. A big thank you to the staff for reading and preparing for my special request in advance—I truly appreciate the effort and attention to detail. The toilet is clean and spacious, WiFi connection is good, and everything was well maintained. Breakfast is provided, and you’ll need to bring the voucher with QR code to scan before entering. There’s a good variety of Japanese and Western food, so it’s easy to find something you’ll enjoy. Overall, we really loved our stay here and would definitely come back again on our next trip. Love how convenient the hotel located. We brought our toddler travel to Kamakura using the Shonan Monorail and changed to Enoden Line to have different train ride experience. And return from Kamakura to Ofuna station is just 2 stops by JR. The train station itself have Lumine EST department store and within walking distance with lots of drug stores, DONKI, and eateries. Highly recommended. 2 adults with 1 2 year old toddler. Unexpectedly their bed is big for us yet it is a pullover bed can be extended.

I highly, highly recommend this hotel! First, the location is incredibly convenient. It's just a 5-minute walk, at most, from the main train station. Second, there are so many shops and restaurants nearby. We're talking convenience stores, fast food like Yoshinoya, and even two large supermarkets that have everything you could possibly need! Finally, the front desk service is exceptional. They have a self-service translation device that displays the conversation on a screen, which is fantastic! Plus, it's not far from the Daifune Kannon Temple. And get this, it's only a 50-minute direct train ride to Tokyo, and the price is absolutely worth it. Oh, and if you couldn't find a specific item at Uniqlo in Tokyo, you might just find it at the Uniqlo next to Daifune Station – it's amazing. What's more, it's very convenient to get to Gotemba Premium Outlets, Hakone Shrine, Izu, and Atami. Facilities: Excellent and fully equipped. The room size is normal for a Sotetsu hotel. Cleanliness: Spotless and tidy. Environment: Super convenient surroundings. Service: They have a self-service translation machine, so there are no communication barriers whatsoever.

The hotel is super close to Kamakura Station, just a 2-minute walk, and attractions like Hachimangu Shrine are also within walking distance, which is incredibly convenient. There's a Muji right downstairs, and breakfast is served at the Muji restaurant. The hotel's design and attention to detail are excellent. My only minor gripe this time was that my room faced the parking lot, so there was no view at all. Other than that, everything was perfect.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The public bath was large and relaxing. There is no convenience store nearby - you need to walk towards the station to visit the closest (Family Mart) which takes about 5mins one way. There were 2 things that bothered me: 1. Position of TV. You can’t be on the bed to watch as you cannot turn the TV towards the bed. 2. There were 2 chairs and a table and the height of the table and the part you sit on the chair was same. Therefore I had to bend so much to reach down to eat which was quite frustrating

A 10-minute walk from the subway station, with various restaurants conveniently located nearby. This is an excellent building that makes effective use of its steel frame structure and features superb landscape design. It would be a particularly meaningful stay for architects. The breakfast area is designed like a charming cafe, making everything served there seem delicious. I spent my time reading and gazing at the rainy courtyard until check-out. I was very pleased by the kindness of the female staff member who spoke Korean. While both the room's size and comfort were excellent, there was no charger provided, and I hope the quality of the toothbrushes can be improved. One morning, despite the rain, I opened the window and enjoyed the delightful birdsong for a long while. It was a relief that the windows here were easy to open and close, unlike in many Japanese accommodations. As I personally loved Kamakura City, if I ever return, I'd love to experience both a traditional guesthouse and spend my last night here to enjoy the morning before departing.

The stay at the hotel was extremely comfortable and convenient. It is located close to the train station, making travel very easy. The room was clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with all essential amenities. The staff were helpful, attentive, and provided excellent assistance throughout the stay. There are convenience stores nearby, and the surrounding area is pleasant and easy to explore. From the hotel, it is very convenient to travel to various attractions. You can easily take the train to reach the main landmarks and key sightseeing spots in Kamakura. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

This was the most pleasant stay in Kamakura we had! Glad to have an opportunity to write a review. I went to Japan in beginning of November with my younger brother, the weather was warm. We were intended to stay in Kamakura for 2 days (1 day in beginning and 1 day in the end of our trip). A hotel near both to Enoshima and Kotoku-in. The service was incredible. The room was neat and tidy with AC, TV, balcony and matcha tea set, also we could see a sea from the balcony. Hotel has spacious bathroom with mini onsen. The hostess of the hotel was very polite to us. One time we were late to check in, so we called from reception, and she began to apologize politely and walked down from the top floor to give us the keys to our room. We felt a bit awkward) Then she gave us 2 towels for free, when they cost 200 yen, it was nice bonus. Btw every time we checked out, a hostess was giving to us postcards =) We had lots of positive emotions. So, I highly recommend this place to stay in Kamakura.

The first time I looked at the name, I thought it was Shangri-La, but it was not. We booked it on the last min, so it doesn't matter how much, and some can live. After you arrive, you will find a bit like a guest house, on the third floor. The room meets the basic accommodation requirements, small, but there are some, and clean. Other additional requirements are not demanding, the ~ is just living, we did not want breakfast, anyway, there is no lobby. . About 10 minutes away from the train station, very close to the Shengong, the Shengong Trail in the middle, very hazy. If you like to walk, in fact, get up in the morning and walk to Huguo Temple, the beach, you can walk

Room view is same as photo show, is traditional homestay so didn’t have private toilet. The way to washroom and bathroom will have warmer but after bath will be very cold in winter. Is super nearby to Kailua station and opposite is one of the famous spot, Komachi St.
