The location is good. Right in front of the night market.
The shower head in the room is totally broken and cannot be adjusted.
Another thing is that someone opened my door with a card key at 1 am !!! He claims he went to wrong room. Told the front office the next day and they re-program the card. Scary.

Overall, this stay offered decent value for money, but the hotel definitely has its pros and cons. 👍
The biggest advantage is the excellent location, right next to Phu Quoc Night Market, just a 1-minute walk away. It's incredibly convenient for grabbing food and shopping in the evenings. There are also plenty of massage parlors and restaurants nearby, making it a very convenient spot.
Regarding the room:
It was generally simple and clean. The air conditioning was powerful enough, and the bed was comfortable. It met basic accommodation needs, and it's fine for a short stay.
However, the downsides were also quite noticeable:
* The room felt a bit dated overall, and the furnishings showed signs of wear and tear.
* The space was small; it would feel cramped with a lot of luggage.
* The cleanliness in some rooms was inconsistent.
* The bathroom drainage wasn't very good, and there was occasionally a slight odor (this was a significant drawback).
* Because it's close to the night market, it could get a bit noisy at night.

We loved our stay at Rosa Hotel. It was in a great location, easy to walk to everything. The beach is just 5 minutes walk away. The staff were really friendly and attentive and the room was spotless and really comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

Pros: There is bellman service available to help us take care of our luggages when we arrived before check-in time, so we could go for lunch without our heavy baggages. Even though we rejected the enthusiastic bellman who offer to bring our luggages to our rooms, as we were not used to it, he continued to serve us graciously when we were lost (since the room numbers all starts with 1 followed by the storey). Located next to the sea with a shallow beach, Seashells is a prime location for beach swimming and kayaking. Safety signs were in placed and blow dryers were installed to prevent slipping at the ground floor. Restaurant serves delicious breakfast.
Cons: We didn't receive a welcome drink that was supposed to be part of the hotel's check-in experience. The check-in timing is 3pm, unlike most other hotels that offers early check-in, this hotel doesn't.
Generally, Seashells is a great stay and deserves its 5 stars rating for its location, cleanliness and facilities. Safety is a bonus point, given that lift access requires a room card. Although we did not have the opportunity to experience the sauna and steam bath, there were many options in the vicinity.

We had booked for 8 rooms in total. We were quite worried after finding out some not so good reviews online however everything turned out fine. The check in was very fast and efficient despite only one lady was in the reception during Tet New Year. The check out was smooth as well and as opposed to what other guests claimed, they didnt inspect the room again and charge us for ”alleged damages”. There was a room with ants and opened bottle in the drawer left by previous guests. Overall we were satisfied with the cleaniness and the size of the rooms was spacious.
We had to admit that the sound proof was really not good and you can constantly hear the sound of the doors closing from other floors and also the sound of the road opposite the hotel, but we didnt get affected much as it got lot quieter at night.
The location was good but central to everywhere. There were lot of massage shops around the hotel and only less than 10minutes walk to the night market (only seafood restaurants mainly).

Great hotel, I recommend it. Honestly, everything was perfect – it's close to everything, quiet, and there's a delicious cafe right under the windows. The market is just a 5-minute walk away. The rooms are clean, tidy, comfortable, and cozy. Room service washed my t-shirts and brought them back in 2 hours. Thumbs up!

I transited in Phu Quoc and chose to stay at this guesthouse. As a solo female traveller, I felt that I made the right choice. Arriving around 5pm was perfect, as it gave me enough time to explore the night market, which is conveniently located just downstairs. King Kong Market is also just around the corner.
The guesthouse has a lift, which is a big plus if you’re travelling with large or heavy luggage. One small downside was noticing ants during my stay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend this guesthouse.

I booked in advance and was supposed to stay 4 nights here, the room was with the sea view, beware it is the only seaview room in the hotel, located on floor 3.
1) Elevator doesn't lift up there i was explained, so you go to floor 2 by elevator and then up the stairs on foot.
2) Rooms are out of date, i was ready for not so new renovation if it is clean and decent. But this one is too old for my taste and reflexes. Mattress is uncomfortable for sleeping.
3) The worst part and the reason i stayed there for 1 night only and cancelled my other 3 nights- there is 1 more door on floor 3 and the smells of fried meat and gasoline and whatever else were coming from there right to my room. I was so confused, rooms here are not supposed to have kitchens.
Turns out elevator actually does go up to floor 3, just not for guests, as most of the floor is an apartment of the owners . Smells were just too much for me to bear.
Floor 2 doesnt smell but the room offered to me as a change didn't have a single window . No thanks.
We managed to work out cancellation policies after numerous calls with trip.com and me having to go and talk to hotel representative myself because trip.com couldn't reach them.It worked out somehow.
But i lost 1 day of my time in the resort, had to pack suitcases twice etc. Don't repeat my mistakes.

Everything was great. There was hot water in the shower. The location is interesting, a little off the main road. The service was excellent. The room wasn't brand new, but it had everything I needed, and I was perfectly satisfied. Breakfast was standard, nothing special really. I'd recommend the place; there's a pool and billiards.

GGuest UserWe went as a 3 generational family and it was a perfect vacation for us! The villa was nicely maintained and decorated, and the food at the restaurant offered a good selection. We loved the pho bar and bahn mi in the morning, and being able to order a full barista menu at breakfast.
Some points of improvement:
- training for staff. Many of them didn’t speak English or wasn’t eager to help. Jenny at the restaurant was great, and housekeeping was on time and helpful.
- the beach was incredibly dirty. Filled with cigarette butts and general plastic littering. It was something that was overlooked and I didn’t feel comfortable going back with my children after the first day.
- some healthier choices for the kids table at breakfast would be appreciated. It was all sugar: donuts, marshmallows, chocolate eggs and muffins with chocolate sauce and jam.
- the kids club was pretty sad and even though we had two children with us (6 and 4 years old), we didn’t even visit it once. It just seemed like a completely overlooked part of the hotel, and didn’t even feel clean.
The new playground was lovely (when the sun went down) and it’s obvious that they are trying to continuously improve the resort (with the building of the new kid-friendly pool, and the landscaping).
However, we don’t think we will return unless there are more activities geared for children. We ended up staying mostly in our own pool and brought our own games to play in the villa.

AAnonymous UserThe location of the resort is the USP. They have a wonderful swimming pool, there is a decent indoor kids play area. The breakfast spread is good, overall dining experience in the two restaurants in this property was fantastic. The front desk handling of customers is something which is the laggard. They can do a lot better in terms of customer service and timeliness in terms of responding to the guests. The private beach is also good. They have a e rickshaw service to Grand world which is no where to be seen in case you are looking to board it to return to the hotel.

✈✈️keaidexiaolinlinerI was a bit hesitant before booking, seeing all the bad reviews online. But when we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing this sea-view villa was! It was very spacious for our group of two adults and three children. The hotel service was also great. Although there was no Chinese-speaking staff, the front desk's English accent wasn't too strong.
The only drawback was the lack of cutlery in the kitchen. We bought some snacks back and had nothing to eat them with!
There were quite a few Koreans and Westerners around. The iced coffee at breakfast was so good, I drank it for four days straight. It was truly excellent.
We booked the Sheraton villa next door for the following four days. Honestly, even though both hotels are operated by the same owner, the Peach Hotel is noticeably much better in terms of service and facilities, and it's also more conveniently located. The breakfast there was very similar to Peach, with many of the same dishes. But there were too many Indians, if you know what I mean...
I personally found the pool to be very clean. It was just a few steps from the villa to the beach. The best part was having trees by the pool, so it wasn't too sunny.

We stayed at this hotel as a family. We rented two rooms. The hotel is new. No more than two years after the opening. The description of the hotel and rooms fully corresponds to the website. I must say right away that the hotel can be rated five out of five, everything else is not the fault of the hotel and its service. This is a problem common to the entire island of Phu Quoc. The island is preparing to host a major economic summit in 2027. The whole island is one big construction and reconstruction project. It is not surprising that suddenly reconstruction and equipment for a new tourist facility (hotel, shop, restaurant, etc.) can begin in neighboring buildings, but we must pay tribute to the fact that the silence regime is still observed. This is Saturday and Sunday, a complete ban, repairs are possible only from 8:00 to 11:00 from 13:00 to 17:00. HL Melody in the neighboring block is completing reconstruction for its own apartments, that is, it is expanding its offer. It is said that everything will be finished by March 2026. But I repeat, it's everywhere on the island and on Khem in particular. If you think that hotels such as La Grotta, All Sand, Paralia, ANN and others of this class of hotels will be better, then you are mistaken. Construction and reconstruction are going on everywhere.
Unlike these hotels, the location of HL is much better, far from the noise of the crowd of vacationers, the noise of passing cars and bikes. Khem Beach is a 10-minute slow walk away. The windows of rooms 101, 201, 301, and so on overlook the rainforest. At night, we turned off the air conditioner and slept with the windows open in complete silence. In the morning, we were only bothered by the roosters of the neighboring village and the forest birds. Tips for nearby restaurants - Chinese Fu Lu Kang (excellent work by a professional chef, instant service, full Chinese menu, except for Peking duck, we recommend absolutely everything). Grill Station is a decent menu when you want to switch from Vietnamese cuisine. Com Nha Vietnamese Cuisine is the latest restaurant on the way to the beach. Very affordable prices and excellent food quality. Better than on the beach - Draft Beer Bai Khem. We used the last one when we were at the beach all day. I recommend all the listed restaurants. KingKong has the best currency exchange, while Khem has a 1% worse exchange rate. If you skip the transport to KingKong, then the course is the same. The general advice on Khem's vacation location is if finances allow, then Premier Residence, New Wolrd, JW Marriott. That is, the territories that were closed and completed for reconstruction with half board. The latter is important because Vietnamese cuisine is sparse and monotonous. At the same time, you are guaranteed that you do not have large-scale repairs with the demolition of floors behind your wall. We recommend the Shop-center and farm of sea and river pearls - Ngoc Hien Pearl Farm. You can even book a transfer from the hotel if you really intend to buy something.
HL Melody service: very good. The Ngoan concierge is a very polite and helpful employee. Our respect.
Rooms: new and clean. Cleaning was carried out every day. Towels are changed every day. The linen is all snow-white and dry. Please note that there is an error in the description of one of the rooms. There is only one kitchen for self-catering and breakfast on the ground floor. In the lobby there is a stove, refrigerator, dishes, professional coffee machine, water, drinks, Two bicycles in free use.
Internet - WIFI is fast without freezes.
There's an elevator in the hotel, but you can't hear it at all. In general, the sound insulation is good.
We recommend this hotel. The price is fair and affordable, and the service corresponds to the hotel class.
I repeat that the problems of reconstruction are a problem of Phu Quoc in any new location of tourist clusters - Marina, SunSetTown, Khem, and etc.

BBob Walker MaA really great hotel! They offer a free shuttle service to the airport, which is only a 9-15 minute taxi ride away. The facilities are quite new, and the swimming pool is massive with dining options on both sides, so you can eat right after your swim. The landscaping is beautiful, and you can also have lunch and dinner at the hotel. The service is top-notch; we truly felt at home. We stayed for three nights with our child and it was very comfortable. During the day, we visited the Big World and the zoo in the north. On our third day, we went back home from the hotel, and the journey was smooth sailing all the way. KING KONG MART is also very close by from here.

We liked the villa very much, we rate it 10/10. The house's design is thoughtful. The rooms are well thought out and well equipped. The bathrooms are very nice. The landscaping with tropical trees and flowers is great. Bougainvillea is great. The night lighting of the villa is very impressive. Every three days there is a complete cleaning and replacement of all towels. The linen is new, dry and spotlessly white. There is a washing machine. It helped a lot with rinsing beach clothes, T-shirts, and beach towels. Everything was dry in the morning. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, but I would advise the manager to change one of the pans, add 8 earthenware cups instead of plastic ones and 10 pieces of small teaspoons and add 8 large plates for the main course. In this case, there will be nothing to complain about. Our extended family was comfortable staying in this villa. Everything is completely consistent with the description. The location is in a quiet location in the complex of the same Sun Tropical Village villas. Security with a barrier around the perimeter, video cameras and more. Everything is great, but take into account one very important point. This is a problem common to the entire island of Phu Quoc. The island is preparing to host a major economic summit in 2027. The whole island is one big construction and reconstruction project. And not all the villas in this complex are ready for operation. At the moment, only 30% are involved. The rest are being put into operation very quickly. With us, one of the neighboring villas was fully equipped by about 40 workers, from concrete to complete furniture and landscaping in 12 days. The pace is impressive. So, if your villa is nearby, then you will have noise problems. I talked to one of these residents, who complained that he had a villa for rent for a month, and nearby repairs. Fortunately, during our stay with Evelyn, preparatory work was just beginning.
Tips for nearby restaurants - Chinese Fu Lu Kang (excellent work by a professional chef, instant service, full Chinese menu, except for Peking duck, we recommend absolutely everything). Grill Station is a decent menu when you want to switch from Vietnamese cuisine. Com Nha Vietnamese Cuisine is the latest restaurant on the way to the beach. Very affordable prices and excellent food quality. Better than on the beach - Draft Beer Bai Khem. We used the last one when we were at the beach all day. I recommend all the listed restaurants. KingKong has the best currency exchange, while Khem has a 1% worse exchange rate. If you skip the transport to KingKong, then the course is the same. The general advice on Khem's vacation location is if finances allow, then Premier Residence, New Wolrd, JW Marriott. That is, the territories that were closed and completed for reconstruction with half board. The latter is important because Vietnamese cuisine is sparse and monotonous. At the same time, you are guaranteed that you do not have large-scale repairs with the demolition of floors behind your wall. We recommend the Shop-center and farm of sea and river pearls - Ngoc Hien Pearl Farm. You can even book a transfer from the hotel if you really intend to buy something.

Internet - WIFI is fast without freezes.
I recommend this villa for 10/10, but I advise you to check about possible repairs before renting.

EErickTo summarize ”Chez Carole” failed to impress me. I stayed 6 days early November.
As mentioned by other reviewers there is a lot of potential but...
The beach and the tranquility are definitely a plus. The beach is nothing extraordinary but it is ideal if you just want to relax and enjoy ”farniente”. However there long chairs are far from comfortable. Plain hard and heavy wood (or good imitation) with nothing on top to soften the contact ;-)
There are a couple of ”kayaks” and 2 ”surf” boards to use for free.
What I missed most in the hotel was facing caring and welcoming employees. There was no hello, no good morning (except at the restaurant for breakfast and even there not always) or good day. Mostly no eye contact. With very very few exceptions the staff was distant, not welcoming and, well, not helping really. John the manager does his job professionally but I missed a deeper contact. Chinh in charge of the egg station (very good omelets) and pho was great and fun and helpful. So was Thienh (?) in the kitchen cooking wonderful plates with fish for me every night. A bright smile. A desire to please guests. Genuinely. I loved that ... and of course the food he prepared. Tâm in the restaurant was also very professional and helpful. These guys helped me feel better at the resort. Hospitality throughout Vietnam is absolutely great so my experience ”chez Carole” surprised me quite a bit. Overall the resort feels old and just maintained to survive. Dull in my opinion but, agreed, this is very personal. Also it is obviously in a remote place. It is some 2 or 3 Km walk/drive to the closest village therefore renting a motorbike or using Grab (or just asking the hotel for taxi) can be something to consider. Btw the closest Vinbus (free electric buses throughout the island, running every 15 minutes or so) stop is roughly 4 Km from the resort.
I booked one of the cheapest rooms. Spacious with a desk, a good sized fridge, a locker and an efficient air conditioning system. Weird enough the fridge would only work with the key in the key holder. So taking the key with you would shut down power (electricity) for all devices, including the fridge. Not ideal to keep anything cool in the fridge when leaving for the day...
The breakfast was nothing exceptional I found, especially for guests suffering from food ”incompatibilities” (in my case ”sugary” items because of diabetes due to surgery). For ”normal” people the spread was quite good with a large sweet section (breads, cakes, fruits).
Unless you really want it quiet, secluded, next to a beach and with an affinity for more ”traditional” housing architecture resp. feeling with an interesting pricing, you may want to also consider other options.
