My son and I stayed here last week for 3 nights. Hotel has very good location and was very clean. But nothing more good I can say about this place. The room was extremely small. Only because we came with small hand luggage, we can put it under the bed, with bigger luggage it was big problem. There is no place at all to take clothes from the luggage. Even not so easy to pass through the room because all the room space was the bed with few centimeters free space to pass. We really didn’t want some big room, because we came to be outside most of the time but every morning was challenging to dress up. Coffee machine also was out of service. There is paid service to store luggage for 12 hours after check out, and I have not any problem to pay for this service, but I expected there is toilet when we came to get our luggage before we leave to airport. And it’s not.

So happy when we arrived. Everywhere was clean and quiet. The staff are lovely and made sure that we knew everything we needed to know. The spa facilities are great. You can use the steam room, sauna, pool and the jacuzzi which I loved so much, also use rhe gym and pay for spa treatments which is reasonable priced. The shower in the room wow was lovely and hot wnd powerful. I spent so long in there i didnt wanna get out lol. This was a well deserved time for us both. We will defo be coming back in the future. Easy to find as well. There is also a parking g place round the corner which was not far at all a 1 min walk back to the hotel. Weatherspoons was next door also. Thank you all for a wonderful stay. Good value stay in this well-located capsule-style hotel. Right in the centre of Bethnal Green near the tube station, bus stop, museums, York Hall leisure centre, and various restaurants. Felt fairly safe for a lone female traveller. The compact Queen room was small, as expected, but well designed and did not feel too claustrophobic for one person. The bathroom was nicely decorated, clean and warm. Large TV with various apps (login required). Nespresso machine but no kettle or fridge. The room (on the third floor) looked straight out to the railway line and restaurants under the arches, but the soundproofing was excellent and the blackout blind seemed effective so I had a good night's sleep. Staff were helpful (providing me with a knife and fork to eat a takeaway, for example) but the self-check in/out was unnecessarily complicated, which meant the staff felt they had to be on hand to help guide you through it all the time anyway! Breakfast was included in my room rate but was a little disappointing - no decaffeinated coffee or herbal teabags, fairly limited hot food (bacon, scrambled eggs, beans and hash browns). However the pastries, cereals and so on looked good. Would stay again if a good price was available.

Very good stay experience, probably because of the ”bloodline” of Hong Kong, the hotel interior and the room are very detail-oriented. The location is also close to the British Museum, and there are many theaters around. The West End, which is as famous as New York Broadway, is not far away. When checking in, the front desk saw that we were with our children and took the initiative to ask us if we wanted an extra bed. In addition, the breakfast here is also very delicate and delicious, and the restaurant service staff are also good.

I turned up ready to put my legs up and rest before my early morning train. I was not looking for anything special but there is basic and then there is this! I was originally put in LG5 and told to go up the stairs, along the corridor and down the stairs. I followed the instructions but, not only could I not find the room, neither could a member of staff. Another one told me to go back along the corridor, up some stairs and down some stairs. I got to the staircase at the end of the corridor and it was blocked by piles of laundry and laundry bags! I went back to the reception desk and explained that neither myself nor staff could find the room. He agreed to give me a different one (a nicer one he said!) and said to go up the stairs and the room was on the right. He didn’t, however, give me a room number. I then started trying to get into the room on the right, then the next room on the right, then the next room on the right before I came up and went back to reception once again! He told me my room number and off I went again. I opened the room door to find a bed with no pillows or duvet and no bigger than a cupboard. I shut the door and headed back to the reception. I explained that I was not staying in that room and before I could explain why, he asked, “is it not clean?!” I explained that not only was it not clean, there were no facilities. He then snapped, “so, you just want to cancel this booking? Fine!” The carpets in the corridors were filthy, the staff couldn’t care less if they tried and the room was beyond basic. I left and booked the premier inn. Much better!

Had afternoon tea for my birthday with my son, the staff Avataar and Fransseca were wonderful they went out of their day way to serve us. Extra sandwiches were on offer if we wanted more. They were so knowledgeable about the teas and even come round with a birthday card with cake and candle for my birthday. What a wonderful gesture. There was also a pianist playing in the centre of the room which was very delightful. On our way out I managed to get a photo with Sean who we have regularly watched on the Savoy on ITV. What a wonderful friendly chap. What a memorable day.

This is my second time booking The Royal National Hotel. Located a stone’s throw from Russell Square. The room turned out to be smaller than previous booking, though I had booked the Twin Plus room which costs more.

This is a very convenient spot and always very cheap. You do get what you pay for though - I went for a room without windows and it was quite the airlock. However the bar and general feel of the place is nice.

Breakfast is very rich, there are many tricks, but you can speak English, otherwise you can't point it. Now it's very good to make hot bacon omelet, but it is also rich in western food, enough calories, and it is full. The location is also superb, with easy access to a variety of attractions (Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Museum). As for the price/performance ratio, I think it is okay to see what I am pursuing. Equipment is not a hotel problem, it is an old house, and can't expect too much.
