"The environment: The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. The breakfast had a rich variety. We were upgraded to a room type that offered stunning and impressive night views of Datong Ancient City. Single bath ticket: The room included complimentary double bath tickets each night. My child came back wanting to give it a five-star rating! It was clean, hygienic, and the service was attentive, with complimentary drinks. The best part is that by staying at Datong Yungang Jianguo Hotel, you can also reserve a table at Fenglincourt at the front desk. With the black card, you can make a phone reservation and skip the long queue, which is a huge plus!"

"Coming to Haohai International Hotel is the most satisfying hotel I have ever stayed in. 1. First of all, I booked a windowless room. The front desk sister Ping took the initiative to upgrade the south street view room (see Figure 6), and offered earplugs and tea. The service was extremely enthusiastic. 2. Zhang Chundi of the housekeeping department took the initiative to provide snacks, foot bath buckets and foot bath medicine bags, and took the initiative to help wash nearly 10 pieces of clothing (see Figures 3, 4). I was very touched. I lived in various hotels across the country. I have never had such a pleasant experience. It is flattering! 3. Zhang Sufang, the housekeeping department, was extremely responsible. She didn't let the bed be cleaned, but she still sorted the whole house, including the bed, and the new one. 4. I met Dong Yueying in the elevator, took the initiative to ask for warmth, and offered a fruit plate (Figure 5), so that guests felt at home. 5. The room Liu Jianhong, learned that we love the snacks sent by the hotel, took the initiative to apply, sent nearly ten bags, very heart, let us be very touched. In short, this stay, let us know that the ceiling of the hotel service is not a five-star brand hotel, but Haohai International Hotel. Although we paid a low room rate, every staff member did his best to take the initiative to care for us, so that we had a feeling of being surrounded and caring, really touched! I sincerely hope that all guests who come to Datong can come to try Haohai International Hotel! Next time if you have the opportunity to come to Datong again, you will definitely stay at Haohai International Hotel!"

"Located inside the Datong old city, the inn itself is a historic building and has a history of its own. There are many interesting decors to look at in the property. The location is excellent and nearby some very good restaurants. It has a laundry room with 2 washers and 1 dryer which are very important in my opinion.The room was very nice, the cleanliness was very good and kept in very good condition. Although there was no rotating menu for the buffet breakfast each morning, the food is good and there's also beef/lamb offal rice noodles on request. The best parts about the hotel are the staff and service. They were extremely welcoming and friendly. I usually get disappointed by restaurant recommendations by hotel staff but all the restaurants recommended were excellent and not overly expensive. They could help you make a reservation (those restaurants get super busy on weekends and holidays) as well if you don't speak Chinese. We had to check out really early on the last day and the staff promptly packed us some eggs and bread for breakfast even though we didn't request it the night prior. I'm sure if you request it the day/night before, they'll be able to pack you something more substantial. I don't normally leave reviews but this property was worth my time."

"Meijing Heyang Hotel is conveniently located right next to Datong Ancient City, just a 6-7 minute walk away. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive and clean, and the rooms are quiet, exactly as described. The staff, from the front desk receptionists and restaurant servers to the housekeeping team, are all friendly and provide excellent service. The lady at the front desk even gave us a free room upgrade, and their recommendations for local food were truly outstanding. Meijing Heyang Hotel offers great value for money and is highly recommended!"

"Free parking and convenient charging right in the underground garage. There's a market not too far away where I bought lots of fruit… I originally planned to stay for just one day, but ended up extending for another two! The hotel front desk service was incredibly thoughtful, and the staff were warm and attentive. Check-in was fast, and they resolved any issues promptly. They really cater to guests' needs, making you feel warm and comfortable. The bed was cozy, the environment was great, and there was plenty of natural light! It even had a desk, was very quiet, and close to the commercial street, making it easy to get around. A really excellent hotel 🏨"

"The hotel's location is excellent. Bus route 59 right outside the door takes you to various tourist spots in the ancient city, including Fahua Temple, Nine Dragon Wall, and Huayan Temple. The hotel offers five-star service; although it's an older five-star hotel, the facilities are very well-maintained, and both the bathroom and guest rooms are extremely clean! I originally booked for two nights, but I was so satisfied with my stay that I extended it for another night. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Datong."

"A very good home stay/hotel that I highly recommend for anyone who travel to Datong. It’s at the entrance of the Datong Ancient City, very convenient to walk around for shops and restaurants. The hotel staffs and owner are very friendly to accommodate our needs. Lift is available and good for family with elderly. The pick up and drop off service to stations are the best! There are some problems on the bed sizes when we checked in but the owner resolve in a friendly way. Highly recommended for a special stay!"
