"The biggest surprise of this trip was staying at this old Pipa Inn, which felt like a private museum. From the moment I stepped through the door, everything I saw was exquisite collections and memorabilia related to Zhaojun. Every decoration showcased the owner's aesthetic and ingenuity, making me feel as if I had traveled through time and was conversing with history. The location is simply impeccable. Huayan Temple is right outside the door, and the joy of walking everywhere is something truly special! The nearest taxi stand, Huayan Hotel, is only a three-minute walk away. Right at the doorstep is a food paradise, with famous local eateries like Xijindao, Fenglinge, Longjuxiang, and Zini 369 all within walking distance. Finding food was absolutely effortless, perfect for lazy people like us who don't want to plan. The inn also provides breakfast, and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of the meals, with a perfect blend of Chinese and Western options. Even more remarkable is the atmosphere here. All the guests were polite, and I even met some foreign friends. My biggest thanks go to the owner. When we had an urgent work matter and needed assistance, the owner not only didn't find it troublesome but went out of their way to enthusiastically help us coordinate resources, solving our immediate problem. This is no longer just an inn; it's the warmest support system on a journey. Highly recommended!"

"The B&B is right in the ancient city, very close to the city wall entrance. Climbing it at night offers great views. The room was clean and comfortable. All the bath towels and towels were disposable. The breakfast area is a bit of a walk from the B&B, but it's acceptable. The lady at the front desk provided excellent, warm, and thoughtful service."

"The hotel is conveniently located close to the ancient city, and you can enjoy a beautiful night view of it right from your room. The guest room is spacious; although it's an older property, the environment is well-maintained. There is a parking lot available, the room is fully equipped, and cleanliness is top-notch. What stands out the most is the exceptionally warm and attentive service—from the front desk and security guards to the housekeeping, logistics, and kitchen staff, every single employee we met deserves praise. All our requests were handled promptly. In addition to complimentary welcome fruits, they even delivered freshly made pear soup to our room in the evening, which was a very heartwarming touch. The breakfast buffet also offered a good variety of options. We had a pleasant 3-night stay here during the National Day holiday, visiting the Yungang Grottoes and taking a night tour of the ancient city, which left us with wonderful impressions of Datong. Highly recommended! Perhaps due to the season, the central air conditioning was turned off, making the high-floor rooms rather warm. It is suggested that a more efficient or scientific approach could be considered."

"The family room is spacious and perfect for family trips. The hotel's location is also very convenient, and the services and facilities are excellent. They even provide disposable facial cleansers and makeup remover wipes, which is super thoughtful. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful; I accidentally left my camera behind, and they found it for me very quickly. Highly recommend! The recommendations from the front desk were also absolutely delicious!"

They helped carry our luggage upstairs, the front desk was incredibly responsive to almost every request and proactively asked if we needed anything. They even prepared a parting gift for us when we left – truly deserving of a big thumbs up! 👍🏻 Facilities: They have a laundry room and a gym, but we were too busy exploring the sights to use them. Environment: It's located right inside Datong Ancient City. You can practically walk to all the eating and entertainment spots within the ancient city, which is super convenient. Cleanliness: Being a new hotel, the cleanliness was excellent. Breakfast: The variety was rich. They had knife-cut noodles that tasted almost as good as those from specialty shops, and the shaomai and brown sugar steamed buns were also very good."

"The hotel facilities are quite new, and the service is also good. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options for a 4-star hotel, so I'd give it a good review. The hotel is located east of Datong Ancient City, making it very convenient to get into the ancient city whether by taxi or renting an electric scooter. It's also not far from the airport and Datong South Station. Highly recommended!"
