Hotels in Khaosan Road, Bangkok

For this price point, the room is excellent. Many might see that some rooms have a window or a skylight and assume there's no window in the room itself. In reality, the room doesn't have a window, but the bathroom does, along with a small door, which makes the overall ventilation really good, and the room stays very dry. Plus, the bathroom is particularly spacious. For this price, I think it's fantastic. However, one thing to be prepared for is that at night, you can hear music from the bar – it's like a disco sound, especially noticeable when you're in the bathroom. But I actually quite enjoyed it; it's an experience. When I want to sleep, no sound can bother me.

Daily housekeeping is convenient  Bathroom divided into wet, dry and toilet part is interesting but its working WiFi didn’t work so reception gave us another password right away which was nice We worry about noise since its really live street but it was ok and ear plugs are provided (but nothing for light sleepers!) Only minus is for the floor - it was little dirty when we arrived (old hair etc.)

The hotel's location is excellent, right on the corner of the roundabout, making it very easy to find. It's only a 5-minute walk to the pedestrian street. The lobby manager was incredibly kind; after I mentioned my foot injury, they immediately offered assistance! I was really touched. The surrounding amenities are incredibly comprehensive, with restaurants, coffee shops, a 7-Eleven right outside, and a night market! Excellent value for money.

This hotel is accessible to bus stop, not close to MRT or BTS, however, the bus transportation in Thailand is easy to monitor and access, so pretty convenience. Opposite the hotel is a 7/11, really convenience to buy snacks on the go. The cleanliness upon arrival is ok, not spotless but acceptable. Staff are nice and helpful. Will recommend if you spend the whole day out and just need a place to sleep. Has hot water, AC ok, not too noisy from outside. Price is cheap!

The room is pleasant, well-designed, and functional. The shower water pressure is somewhat weak, and the hotel does not offer luggage storage. Since the hotel is close to Khaosan Road, noise from the street can be heard in the rooms. If possible, request a room facing away from the street for a more peaceful stay.

Lovely hotel, but there is massive construction happening on the street in front of the building. If you get a room at the back of the hotel, you won't hear it, but in other parts of the hotel, you can hear the jack hammers inside. It ruins the ambience and enjoyability of the area when there is scaffolding in front of the building and you can only access it by construction walkways, which also make it difficult to walk outside and cross roads. Also, the view from our room was of an air conditioning unit so the outlook was bad, back and front of the building. In terms of tourism, the location is great if your primary focus is temples, but if you want more excitement like shopping, bars and restaurants, I would recommend staying in a different area as it is fairly quiet around the hotel. We wound up taking taxis back and forth to other parts of the city for fun. The hotel is lovely, good value and the staff are friendly so no complaints there. We paid for the breakfast, the hot food was predominantly Asian like curries and meats which are a bit heavy in the morning especially in the heat, there was some Western items like French toast and pancakes, but they were dry and not the best. Again, the hotel was lovely - to be fair, the problems were the construction and the area lacked excitement for us - neither of those issues were the fault of the hotel itself.

The staff was genuinely very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the room itself was very clean upon arrival. The shared bathroom was also clean at first, and overall the accommodation seemed well maintained. Unfortunately, there were several issues that made the stay less comfortable for us. The mini fridge in the room did not cool at all. In addition, the room next to ours was occupied by a couple with a baby, and they often left their door open. Because of this, the baby crying could be heard extremely loudly, especially at night, which made it very difficult to fall asleep. Interestingly, we could hear that other guests were watching TV loudly in the hallway, but inside our room we could barely hear any noise except for the baby crying, which was unfortunately very disruptive. Another unpleasant issue was that diapers were disposed of in the shared bathroom. The smell became very strong and lingered for several hours, and there were also many flies in that bathroom because of it. Thankfully, it was possible to go one floor higher and use the shower and toilet there instead. The location depends a lot on personal preference. We are not party people, and the area had a very strong party atmosphere, which we did not expect. Because of that, it is difficult for me to judge the location fairly. I think for people visiting Bangkok mainly for nightlife and partying, the location could actually be very good. However, it is still relatively far from the city center, although it is possible to walk there. Overall, the biggest positive point was definitely the staff — they were truly kind and made a real effort to help guests feel welcome.

Spending time there during Songkran festival, this hotel is prime location. Everything is perfect. The staff was nice and room was spacious but only thing about amenities is like there were just 1 2in1 shower gel bottle. And nothing else provided .😂😂

Good price, comfortable bed and great balcony looking over the river. Tv did not work and shower had to be held as bracket on wall did not hold it well . Shower gel was rubbish . Overall a good budget room with friendly staff in a good quiet ish location with great views of river .

Very good service ,friendly people , the atmosphere is amazing, the attitude of the staff is amazing, breakfast buffet the best , very friendly people, highly recommended from 1 to 10 i give them 10, definitely i will stay again in my next trip , keep up the good work , very near Khao sand rd and many tourists places, this is one of the best hotels i been in bangkok
