The hotel is in a great location, in the city center, easy to get a taxi, and a ten-minute walk to Cuihu Park. Opposite the hotel is a treasure temple with an exotic environment, which is worth visiting.
The hotel service is good, the reception is friendly, and the hygiene is normal. Compared with Kunming hotels, the room rate is slightly higher, but it wins in terms of location and the Atour brand. It is estimated that the room is fully booked, and the floor attendants have no time to clean the room. We stayed in the room at 4 pm, but the room was not cleaned up. We were outside all the time, so it didn't affect us much.

A bit hard to find location. Recommend to contact the hotel prior to arrival to avoid getting lost. Have to enter through a store front, turn left and then will spot the hotel. Name is not shown on the outside buildings.
Otherwise, service was amazing here from the receptionist. Only downside was that despite booking a nonsmoking room, a nearby resident was smoking within their room which permeated into my adjacent room.

I originally chose other hotels when I arrived in Kunming, but for various reasons I didn't stay there. Instead, I chose the nearby Xiqiao Hotel. Although the facilities of this hotel are not particularly new, it has a superior location. It is very close to bus stops and subway entrances, and there are residential areas next to it. Life is very convenient and you can buy everything.

The hotel is in a great location, right in the city center, not far from Nanping Pedestrian Street and Cuihu Park, which is very convenient for my travel. The boss's service attitude is also very good, kind and gentle to others. Great! The bed is also very comfortable to sleep on, and the decoration style is also the type I like. There is a North Railway Station next to it, and there are three subways, which is convenient to go anywhere. I will come to this hotel next time.

The hotel looks OK. You can buy Bawang Cha Ji and Cha Bai Dao across the street. The hotel room walls are not very beautiful but it is still ok to stay. There is a washing machine for washing clothes. The breakfast is still good. If you want to go to the scenic spots, it is recommended to take a car, after all, it is still a distance to Kunming Old Street.

Excellent budget hotel in a great location just to the north of the city center. Good staff who will try their best to accommodate your needs. Great value for money. My only complaint is that the room cleaners will enter your room to try to ”clean” your room even if the door is locked from the inside, and not once did they bother to clean the drinking cups or replace the mosquito tablet.

It was my first time to take my family to Yunnan. I saw this B&B online and liked it very much. I stayed there for two nights. We only knew from the name of the store that there are 26 ethnic minorities in Yunnan. The service of the front desk lady was very good, and the store manager was also very nice. He invited us to drink coffee, and the child opened a box of flower cakes immediately when he asked for them. He also upgraded us to the best patriarch suite. You can take pictures with ethnic minority costumes for free, and the photos taken in the store are very good. There are also small gifts to receive, and the experience is very good! The breakfast is also good. It is very close to Kunming Old Street, and there are many foods downstairs. Well, recommended.

WwilliewengMy definition of luxury, this brand new hotel strikes the perfect balance of elegance and simplicity as art deco style. Bath Rooms are tastefully decorated with all the high quality amenities. You'd come to expect from a 5+ star hotel including automatic black out curtains and one touch lighting control.
The restaurant/breakfast area was outstanding. The breakfast was one of the best I experienced with a selection not found in any other 5 star hotel.
Staff was super friendly and helpful. From the moment we booked the room we were greeted with the most friendly staff. Emily and Wan (in the Front desk/Concierge ) gave us a smooth check in, and provided us with a great dining guide that we wanted to explore. They are exceptional!
I would highly recommend and will definitely go back for these stellar services and amenities.

Zzh3usI think we have to keep in consideration that this is probably one of the more luxurious hotels in the city, also you get the prestige of staying within the skyscraper compound, the only skyscraper compound in the city. The hotel is literally next to a food street with LOCAL pricing and a large shopping mall with electrical appliances, a supermarket and lots of other local shoe and clothing brands within it. Not to mention there is an IMAX cinema!
The room is large and the bed is super big (larger than king). The entire room is decorated with marble slabs, MBS level materials. Highly recommend you book the breakfast if you do not like or aren't that good with Chinese Breakie. The breakfast spread is pretty good, international and Chinese selection, canned drinks, bottled water. Try the yogurt machine's yogurt, pretty good.
Special thanks to Receptionist Anna Ke for the special care during our stay and ultra special thanks to Lester for making the effort to help me receive my Taobao Shipments as I did not have a Chinese Number to facilitate the transaction process. Lester really went out of his way to help us out.
Protip: If you are visiting and are looking for cheap souvenirs, tea, clothes, luggages and other essentials, I recommend you Visit Shuang Long Shopping center 双龙商城 (closes at 5pm) The souvenir prices at the old street are pretty much extortion levels after you visit Shuang Long.

The parking lot is on the third floor below ground, and it is a bit winding to get in and out. After parking, there is a direct elevator next to it, which is very convenient to get things.

The hot springs are very attractive, with 36 private hot spring pools and 72 public hot spring pools, providing a wide variety of hot spring options; the hotel is located in a large area, with lush flowers and leaves, flying butterflies and singing birds everywhere, and sightseeing here is like strolling in a mountain garden; the restaurant is at the highest point of the hotel, with a great view, and an outdoor platform from which you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Dianchi Lake, and the service is also very good; the room is a single-family villa with a large space, complete facilities, and a back garden with a small pool specifically for hot spring bathing, as well as a swing, and good privacy; soaking in the hot springs is really comfortable, and there is also a steam steam room indoors, which is an excellent experience and is suitable for men, women, and children of all ages.

Pplushparadisecomfortable stay for a night stop over before an early flight the next day, it was a comfortable stay. the sheets were nice and soft. the toilet and showers are built such that they are individual cubicles, so the shower cubical doesn’t have any where to hang clothes/ towels, etc. all amenities provided, and there’s a laundry room with washer dryer to get your laundry sorted before continuing your trip.
shuttle bus to airport was 5am for a 7.40am flight, where it’s a “car pool” system, must book at time of check in.
night supper is a bowl of mien xian, basic. it’s a warm bowl to keep you going. there are no food options around outside of the building.

Hotel is located within walking distance to pedestrian streets and shopping malls. GGuest UserWe are Americans from Hong Kong and traveled to Kunming for our Easter holiday. The positives of this hotel: 1. it was beautiful. The design and furnishings were very well done and the room itself was exceptionally clean. 2. The owners were so kind. We arrived way after the tea time hour, but they still provided our family with cappuccinos and fresh fruit, free of charge. Both were delicious and our children were so excited about the gourmet coffee art. 3. The mattress in the main bed area was very comfortable. Not a typical “hard” mattress like many hotels in China. Another bonus: it was actually a KING size, which we rarely see outside the US! 4. The breakfast was Chinese style and the rice noodles were delicious! The hotel also had a beautiful courtyard area to eat outside. A few items to be aware of: 1. although the hotel was in a neighborhood near the lake, the neighborhood itself was a bit strange. We could tell it was meant to be a beautiful, well-to-do neighborhood of modern villas, but more than half the neighborhood was unused and/or under construction so it wasn’t as lively feeling in the evening because it was so dark and desolate seeming. It was beautiful in the daylight though! 2. This is not a big hotel chain, just an independent boutique style hotel operating in one of these villas. 3. There are no optimal eating spots near the hotel. You have to take a 20-30 minute Didi (taxi) ride to the nearest area with a lot of restaurants. However, if you like street food, there is a street food carnival area about 10 minutes away via walking (walk north along boardwalk bordering the lake.)
Overall, because of the kindness of the owners, the cleanliness and modernity, delicious breakfast, and comfortable mattress, we would definitely choose this hotel again for a one-night stopover.

GGuest UserLocation was great that it was a walk away from the Kunming Railway Station where I needed to be to leave the city. I liked how it was near a lot of food places! The volunteer Evens was an interesting person to talk to when I learned about his background in what he does as an occupation and where he is originally from in China. The owner Winni was a nice person as well and I appreciated and enjoy her and some of the other guests that cooked for us the night that we had a big dinner. Thank you for being part of the chef crew Winni. Everybody who stayed at the place was respectful and considered towards one another in the way that they conducted themselves. Was able to go along with the rules of this hostel because it fit my daily habits. Nobody had any habits that bothered me.
Not really into the hostel type of stays, due to lack of privacy. Was just happy to stay at this place since it was pretty much right at the doorstep of the Kunming Railway station where I can catch my train on time where I wouldn't end up getting lost in the city which in turn would end up missing it.
The only negative thing that I didn't like was that the bathroom did not have bath towels and just regular hand towels where I would not be able to dry myself very well after showering. Because of this I didn't want to take a shower at this place and the fact that these towels were used repeatedly from other guests, which made me feel uncomfortable wanting to use it. Would come back to this Hostel again if I happen to have to come back to Kunming again where I needed to be near this train station to catch at train there.
