"The room was incredibly clean, even after just a short time away, which was wonderful. The location was also excellent, and I felt at ease during my stay because they used easy-to-understand English for me, who doesn't speak much English, and even spoke in Japanese sometimes."

"For our honeymoon, we chose Rimba due to budget constraints. Honestly, for a standard room, it didn't quite live up to the 1600 price tag, but the excellent service and expansive resort environment made up for a lot. 1. The bathroom in the room was tiny. The shower and bathtub were combined, meaning you had to stand in the tub to shower, which is unusual for hotels of this caliber. 2. The overall resort environment was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is enormous, divided into four smaller hotels, offering choices from Rimba to resort villas depending on your budget. Every photo taken within the resort turned out beautifully; it's truly stunning! 3. Getting around was a bit inconvenient. Getting a taxi from the hotel to go sightseeing took a long time, and sometimes the price was even double what it should be. If you're catching a flight, I recommend ordering a taxi well in advance. The Ayana complex is huge, and there aren't many shops or services around the perimeter, so taxis are scarce. 4. The food was just okay. We ate at Sami Sami, and the taste was indeed average – edible, but nothing special. The prices weren't too expensive for a hotel restaurant. We ordered three dishes, one dessert, and two drinks for 500. 5. The service was absolutely impeccable. Every staff member we encountered greeted us with a smile, especially the fresh flower welcome ceremony when we first arrived – it was incredibly thoughtful! We had informed the hotel in advance via email that it was our honeymoon, and they decorated our room and even gave us chocolates, flowers, and small souvenirs, which made us very happy. If your plan is to stay within the hotel and not venture out, Ayana is a great choice. If you have a larger budget, go straight for the villas."

"An excellent hotel for a comfortable stay! Cleanliness: The rooms and common areas are spotless, and cleaning is thorough and timely. Food: Breakfasts are beyond praise – everything is delicious and varied. A special bonus for the delightful ”chocolate hour”! Atmosphere: Every evening we enjoyed magnificent sunsets. We will definitely be back again!"

"Great hotel! We were very satisfied. Spacious rooms, a wonderful swimming pool and a fantastic level of service! Such responsive and friendly staff has never been seen anywhere before. I really liked the location, a little away from the city, lots of greenery, but at the same time you can quickly get to everything by taxi. I also liked the restaurant, everything was very tasty. Huge variety of food on breakfast, so everyone one of us was satisfied! We were leaving at night, and the hotel had prepared breakfast for us. Thank you very much!We will definitely come back again."

"Unfortunately, the bathroom was not clean at all, and there were quite a few flies. I informed the reception about the issue, but nothing was done to resolve it during my stay. Since I was only staying for one night, it wasn’t a major problem for me, but I wouldn’t have wanted to stay any longer under those conditions. Another downside was the noise level: there were very loud guests in the corridor until around 4 a.m., making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, it was manageable for a short stay, but I would not choose this accommodation for a longer visit."

"The room had two levels, similar to a loft apartment back home. The common areas were decent, but ride-sharing apps couldn't drop us directly at the hotel entrance. The hotel has its own private beach, which isn't huge and has some rocks. However, at low tide, not many rocks are exposed. You can find some seashells on the beach, and there are fish near some of the rocks. You'll also spot small crabs on the sand, and bigger ones near the rocks. Now for the very, very important downside: if you're staying in my room type, it's one of six rooms arranged in a circle, almost like a pillar. You share an entrance staircase with the unit next door, and the soundproofing is absolutely terrible!!! The people next door were talking loudly until 2 AM, and I couldn't take it anymore, so I asked the front desk to speak to them. But they were still noisy until 3 AM. I even got woken up after I'd already fallen asleep. So, you really need to consider if you can accept this drawback."

"Our stay at La Joya Balangan Resort was absolutely stunning. We were warmly welcomed by Loly, who personally took us to our breathtaking three-bedroom villa. The moment we walked in, we were blown away by the cliffside ocean views. Our private pool and villa space felt just as spacious as the main pool, making it perfect for relaxing with the family. The rooms were comfortable, and the open living area in the three-bedroom villa added to the unique experience—we didn’t mind it at all and actually enjoyed the open-air feel. Breakfast offered a good selection, and the staff throughout the resort were friendly and helpful, especially with arranging massages and motorbike hire. One of the highlights for our family was that the kids had daily surfing lessons with local instructors, which they absolutely loved. During our stay, we visited Sunday Beach Club, where we spent a fun-filled day with the kids. We also dined at Honditis, which lived up to its Instagram-famous reputation—the food was very good. Another highlight was visiting The Malini, where we were greeted with incredible cliffside views, fresh seafood, and a truly memorable dining experience. La Joya Balangan Resort is perfect for families looking for comfort, great service, and unforgettable views. We would happily stay again."

"The cleanliness of this hotel is absolutely top-notch, truly the best out of all the 5-star hotels I stayed at during my Bali trip. The mini-bar was also incredibly well-stocked with a great variety of drinks and fruits, really impressive. The pool is heated and offers excellent privacy, highly recommend it. There isn't much commercial activity around, which is pretty common in Bali outside of the Ubud area, where commercial districts are generally sparse. However, it's quite close to Kuta and Uluwatu, and getting a taxi is easy. One thing to avoid though is the BBQ at Jimbaran beach – not good! On the other hand, the hotel's oxtail soup is fantastic!"

"Although it was just a one-night stay, we thoroughly enjoyed the sophisticated ambiance. We heard it's a popular choice for honeymoons, and we did see several Japanese couples on their romantic getaways. The pools and restaurants were also very refined, making it a great experience for families too. I highly recommend visiting the famous 'Rock Bar' if you're staying at Ayana Resort. It's one of Bali's premier luxury spots."

"Pros: This hotel truly values its members, I was directly upgraded to an Executive Suite. Two butlers escorted me to my room, and they even remembered my name. The welcome fruit was also incredibly generous – you deserve all the success! I witnessed a breathtaking sunset that I'll remember for a lifetime. I highly recommend the pancakes and pork chop rice at the Clay Craft restaurant; they were absolutely delicious. Cons: The water quality was poor; I used three filter cartridges in two nights. My hair became tangled after washing, and I had to pay for a treatment when I got home. Bottled water was sold for 40 (while it's only 3 at convenience stores outside) – that's highway robbery!"
