EEddy MeisterI stayed at Asiatic Hotel Melaka and booked the Family Suite with jacuzzi. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a living area, balcony, and in-room spa bath. While it’s not a true duplex layout, the suite still felt roomy and comfortable for families or groups.
The jacuzzi was definitely the highlight – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. Amenities such as WiFi, smart TV, minibar, and toiletries were all provided, making the stay convenient.
Parking is available in front of the hotel, free but limited on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you arrive during peak hours, you might need to circle around to find a spot.
Location is excellent – close to major attractions like Jonker Street, A Famosa, and shopping malls (Dataran Pahlawan, Mahkota Parade). There are plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby, so dining is not an issue even though the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant.
One small downside is the soundproofing; you can sometimes hear noise from the hallway. The lift is also on the smaller side, so it can get busy during peak times.
Overall, Asiatic Hotel Melaka is a great choice if you want a spacious suite with jacuzzi, free parking, and a central location. It’s comfortable and good value, especially for families or friends traveling together.

AAnonymous UserVery good location, walkable to Jonker street but at the same time slightly away with quiet and peace to rest. However parking and location can be quite tricky to find if it is your first time visiting. Toilet can be slightly small and door is slightly see through if close. Had to figure out how to on the shower. Would be better if there is an added dressing area/ table.
It is a cute and safe traditional house. Overall comfortable stay.

GGuest UserHad a great stay at Grand Flora Hotel Melaka! Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were super friendly. The room was clean, comfy, and had everything I needed. Location is really convenient — close to attractions and good food. Breakfast was tasty with a nice variety. Overall, a cosy and pleasant place to stay in Melaka.

ZZhongyang～NioThe room is small and has few facilities. Fortunately, I made a plan in advance and brought my own washing supplies.
The surrounding environment is indeed very simple. If you want to go to a more lively place, you should consider staying close to the central area. Eating is not convenient.
The rooftop open-air restaurant opens at 7pm and closes at 12pm. It has hamburger-like food and some drinks. The decoration is retro and a little rock. You can enjoy the night view and a moment of peace.
The most regrettable thing is that it is close to the sea, but you can't see the sea.

NNadiah H IshakHotel is strategically located. Room was nice except there were spots on the duvet. There was a soap dispenser in the shower which we assume it was all in one soap (hair and body) since there was no label or shampoo provided in the bathroom. Didn't interact much with the hotel staffs as we were out all day but the receptionist was kind enough to explain a out the Tourism Tax to us👍

GGuest UserLocated in an alley behind Hatten Hotel with Bus/coach bay (1 way traffic direction). Parking is chargable. Nearby Shopping mall - Mahkota Parade, Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall. walking distance to Jonker Street. Room was spacious (living room, 2 bedrooms 2 toilets) comfortable beds (2 single & 1 queen size). Bathroom was clean. No Face / hand towel provided. TV reception was weak. the chair cushions were abit worn off and dust can been seen on beams of the table. Some wood lamination has peel off and chips near the window panel. The spread of the morning breakfast was plain and simple with 1 ”live” egg cooking section. hence did not opt or it.

GGuest UserThe hotel has provided the facilities as committed in their booking-page in the acceptable condition to their customer, i.e. me. Despite it is a budget hotel only and the overall appearance is slightly vintage :D, the room, the bed/mattress/blanket, bathroom, showering water heater, etc. are still clean and in acceptable condition. Besides, if communicated/spoken to the hotel, it has self check-in option for the check-in after business operation hour, i.e. mid night. Travelers can acquire the room key/card by themselves from a locker with a provided pin code. These enable me to have a good rest after making an urgent booking in night time, travel over 100km then reach the hotel at 1.30 a.m. mid night. The attached photos show the self check-in/out facility, public drinking-water-dispenser and fire extinguisher.
Although I can't expect much from a budget, I would like to suggest that the air-con in the room to have service/maintenance so that it won't produce much noise. By the way, the noise only distract us slightly from having rest.
After all, based on the offered/discounted price, the room is satisfactory and recommended.
