The room was very spacious and well-equipped. The decor and design were fantastic. The renovation of the historic building is quite unique, and the courtyard is breathtaking. The housekeeping service was excellent, and any requests were promptly addressed. The breakfast was also delicious, featuring some unique dishes. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yunnan.

The Dali hotel scene is competitive, but this hotel offers a five-star experience that makes it stand out from the rest. Room: We booked the Yunxiang room. The room is very spacious, and the bed is faced directly towards the window with beautiful sunrise views of Erhai. The bed is the comfiest of any hotel I have slept in, and the pillows are supportive and ergonomic unlike many other hotels. The Grown Alchemist toiletries are top-tier. This room was so relaxing to come back to after a long day of excursions. Food: The hotel restaurant is outstanding. Portions are generous, but you never walk away feeling overly full because the cuisine is delicious, refreshing, and healthy. The set breakfast is made-to-order every morning, and the on-site barista makes a wonderful latte. The staff pay attention to both taste and presentation of the food. Since we stayed for three nights, we got to redeem a package meal at the hotel restaurant. We were blown away by the quality and quantity of the food, and it was definitely the best meal we had in Dali. Service: The service is what really sets this hotel apart from the rest. Staff are attentive and accommodating to your every need. They helped us arrange a birthday cake, made sure our stay was comfortable, and were very responsive. The complimentary transfer service to and from the airport was very convenient.

Staying at the luxury 5-star Muya Oriental Hotel by Erhai Lake was an absolutely perfect experience. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered stunning views of both sunrise and sunset, and the gentle evening breeze of Dali was incredibly soothing. The atmosphere was just fantastic – relaxing, healing, and truly calming. The hotel's high-end facilities were complete and exquisite, and the service was thoughtful and attentive. They even provided a full set of Bvlgari toiletries, showcasing top-tier quality and a luxurious touch throughout. It's truly an exceptional place to stay for a vacation in Dali.

Like Zhuang Zhou dreaming of a butterfly, or Emperor Wang yearning for a cuckoo, the Butterfly Estate greatly enriched my child's trip to Dali. Who would have thought that in Dali, a city with a grand history in southern China, such a fairyland-like paradise could be hidden? It's truly Yunnan's 'Wuzhen'. The environment is elegant, and the service is attentive. Although the room only included one airport/train station pick-up service, they also provided a complimentary drop-off. We received welcome fruits every day and milk every afternoon. The service was even more thoughtful and attentive than many five-star hotels. Next time I come to Yunnan, I will definitely stay at Taoxi Butterfly Secret Manor again!

This hidden gem of a guesthouse in Dali Ancient City truly offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. The room design is simply elegant, and in the afternoon, I loved sitting by the window with a cup of coffee, enjoying the lush greenery outside – it was so peaceful and perfectly unwound me from my travels. The entire guesthouse was immaculately clean, the bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The host was thoughtful and kind, and the location is super convenient, being very close to the ancient city's streets and alleys, making it easy to explore and find places to eat. This is definitely my top choice for accommodation in Dali, highly recommended!

We booked this duplex family room for our vacation in Dali, and our whole family absolutely loved it. The room is on the fourth floor, with two spacious levels. The kids had a blast running up and down, and it was convenient for the elders to stay downstairs. The cleanliness was excellent; the bedding was spotless and soft, and the bathroom was fresh with no water stains. They even provided disposable disinfectant wipes for the tea set and cups. The room had a natural woody scent, making our stay very reassuring. The smart home system allowed us to turn off lights and close curtains just by voice command. The mattress was just right, not too soft nor too hard, ensuring a good night's sleep for the elders and no fuss from the kids. The butler service was just perfect; they were always available when needed and even helped us book a yoga class, which left us feeling refreshed and relaxed. During the day, we visited the Sanyue Street, which was only a few minutes' drive away – lively and great for browsing. In the evening, we ordered a medicinal hot pot (Yaoshan Yaoshi Tongyuan Gu), and the staff thoroughly explained the benefits of each herb. The broth was fresh and flavorful, and it felt warm and comforting in our stomachs. It's about a twenty-minute walk to the ancient city, and breakfast is included. Our whole family, young and old, had a comfortable and great value stay.

You can watch the sunrise, sunset, and birds from the bed, and the views are absolutely stunning. It's not as noisy as other popular tourist spots. The suite has two bathrooms, and there's also a bathtub with a disposable liner for soaking. The mattress is super comfortable too. The only minor drawback is that the toilet is a bit basic and occasionally has drainage issues. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

I initially thought this would just be a simple one-night stay, but it turned out to be a huge and pleasant surprise! The complimentary airport pick-up service was really great. Master Wang was so enthusiastic and professional, and he provided a very thorough explanation during the short ride. For just two adults and one child, they sent a business van, which was very clean and completely odor-free. The hotel room was spacious. I booked a king-size room with a terrace on the third floor, and the view was absolutely stunning. I spent time just sitting on the terrace, daydreaming both in the morning and evening – I absolutely loved that feeling. There were many green plants and unknown flowers in the small courtyard outside the room and on the terrace. The hotel breakfast offered a rich variety and tasted excellent. The hotel's location is also convenient; it's very close to the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple, and a taxi ride to the ancient city or the Gantong cableway only costs around 20-30 RMB. If I ever get the chance to visit Dali again, I will definitely choose Yiyun.

Highly recommended, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Dali!
