5-Star Hotels in Macau

This time, I brought my mother to City of Dreams - Morpheus Macau for her birthday, and we had a truly unforgettable experience. Many thanks to the thoughtful front desk team, who prepared a birthday cake, flowers, fruits, and snacks in the room beforehand. This pleasant surprise deeply touched us. The 37th-floor room they arranged offered a superb view. The room's design featured soft lines, gentle lighting, and comfortable bedding. The hotel's calming essential oils and spray were also a thoughtful touch. In the evening, we could see drone performances outside the window, which was a fantastic experience. Both the hotel's architecture and interior design are avant-garde and modern, offering a visually stunning experience. It's conveniently located next to The House of Dancing Water, making it very easy to catch a show. From design to service, City of Dreams - Morpheus Macau truly sets a benchmark for modern hotels. We had a wonderful birthday trip and highly recommend it.

This time, I stayed at Hotel Okura Macau with my child, and I'd like to extend a special thank you to Loki, the lobby manager. He was warm and friendly throughout, communicated patiently and meticulously, and went above and beyond to coordinate and fulfill all our requests. His service was truly exceptional. He fully understood the various needs of families traveling with children, responded promptly, and was both thoughtful and professional, making us feel incredibly welcomed during our trip. Our overall stay exceeded expectations, and I sincerely commend Loki. Next time I'm in Macau, Hotel Okura will be my top choice!

We took the ferry from Hong Kong to Macau and arrived via the shuttle in about 10 minutes, but it took us around 30 minutes to find Nüwa at first. The layout is so difficult and complicated... we finally managed to get there by asking around. When checking in at Nüwa, they prepared a nice view, fruit, and red wine for our honeymoon, walked us to the room, and the room condition was truly top-notch. The view was surreal, the bed was amazing, and the staff were friendly. Even though we said we'd let them know when we wanted housekeeping, they kept double-checking, asking in both the morning and afternoon. When we didn't need cleaning, they thoughtfully provided room spray and warm eye compresses—we were so touched by their attention to detail. The facilities are relatively new and well-maintained, which was great. The only slight downside was a rather unpleasant scent that seems to permeate the City of Dreams (COD) complex. They checked in on us to see if we had any discomfort or how our stay was all the way until checkout, which we appreciated. I will definitely be staying at Nüwa again!!

I chose Altira Hotel based on a friend's recommendation and its location. It was my first stay, and it was a great experience. The room had a fantastic sea view, very open and bright. When we checked in, the room wasn't ready, so we went out for a stroll. By the time we returned, it was already late at night. The front desk staff, Alissa (I hope I spelled that right), was incredibly friendly. Seeing that we returned so late, she specially extended our late check-out until 1 PM. Much appreciated! Upon entering the room, I saw that turn-down service had already been done. They even included a hydrating face cream as a turn-down gift! What a pleasant surprise! I had just forgotten to bring my own face cream! The round bathtub was bigger than I expected, feeling similar in size to the one at Morpheus. The sodas and sparkling water in the minibar were complimentary; other items with a small tag were chargeable. Although the gym isn't open 24 hours, the environment is excellent, also facing the sea. Working out here felt very relaxing. The swimming pool wasn't open this time, apparently for maintenance. I hope to be able to use it on my next visit!

My experience at The St. Regis Macao was fantastic, with service that exceeded my expectations! From the moment I stepped out of the car, someone guided me through the check-in process. The front desk staff even upgraded me to a room with a view free of charge, carefully asking whether I preferred a non-smoking or smoking room, and diligently noting down all my requests. Every detail was meticulously taken care of. The butler spoke with a kind and gentle tone, communicated patiently throughout my stay, and was never perfunctory. The service was incredibly thoughtful and professional, always resolving any needs I had. The hotel environment is absolutely beautiful, and the view from my room with a view was stunning. It was a truly enjoyable stay!

I've been wanting to stay at Grand Lapa Macau for a long time, and finally, it was time. I used a voucher I bought during the 9.19 sale and paid an extra fee to stay during the National Day holiday. This was our first time in Macau. Getting from Chimelong to Hengqin Port was incredibly convenient – I'm so envious of the people of Zhuhai! Since there wasn't a direct shuttle to Sands on the Peninsula, we took a taxi directly to the hotel, which cost 130 MOP. We checked in at the hotel but couldn't get our room key until after 3 PM. So, we went to the street behind the hotel for lunch. Both Xinghai and Dieji had great food and were very close by. We finally got our room key around 3:30 PM. Children under 12 could get an extra bed for free. My package included a 500 MOP dining voucher. When I checked in, the front desk told me that for two nights, I'd get 1000 MOP in dining vouchers, which could be used at the hotel's restaurants. The next day, we had lunch and bought bread at the hotel, and then the front desk called to say there was only a 500 MOP dining voucher. Later, with the help of Trip.com, the hotel confirmed that they had given incorrect information during check-in but also confirmed the 1000 MOP dining voucher. In short, I'm very grateful for Trip.com's help. Grand Lapa is next to Sands but doesn't have a casino, so it's very quiet. The resort's pool and children's play area are both excellent, and it's very close to the Science Center. We even watched the National Day fireworks show in the pouring rain. Our first impression of Macau: it's not a large place, and it's all about lavish indulgence. We had our child with us, so we didn't get a chance to visit any casinos. The Venetian, Parisian, and Londoner were all packed with people. The Wynn Palace cable car is highly recommended. The shuttle buses are very convenient. Make sure to visit the Ruins of St. Paul's early. Rua da Cunha is tiny. New Yaohan is worth browsing. Next time, I want to experience the City of Dreams Water Park.

I stayed at Studio City W Hotel after carefully considering options for attending a concert at Galaxy. The hotel has a very convenient location with direct shuttle buses from both border ports. If you take the Light Rapid Transit (LRT), just get off at Lotus Station and walk straight there (without having to bake in the sun). It's also super close to the Galaxy Arena—just a 5-minute walk. Plus, there's a Don Don Donki right downstairs, so even if the concert ends late, you can still grab ready-to-eat meals (there are microwaves in the store, and an electric kettle in the hotel room too). The room is really spacious for one person! The bathroom has a wet and dry separation, and there's a huge full-length mirror in the room (which wasn't facing the foot of the bed in my room), making it totally convenient for girls to check their look before heading out 👌. It's worth mentioning that the hotel service is exceptionally good! From the moment I got out of the car, staff proactively took my luggage, guided me through the queue, check-in, and check-out processes. Also, before the show, I had turned on the 'Do Not Disturb' light while resting; instead of knocking, the staff slipped a service note under the door. The whole experience truly made me feel at home 👍. I highly recommend considering Studio City W if you're going to Galaxy for a show too!!!

The room is pretty much the same as a standard room in any ordinary hotel, but the view is absolutely top-notch. It faces The Parisian and The Londoner directly, so you can enjoy the Eiffel Tower light show anytime at night. I'd recommend staying around the 20th floor, specifically near room 108. The lobby has a Broadway vibe. Around noon, checking in and leaving luggage both required a bit of a wait. The shopping area here is a bit more down-to-earth compared to the neighboring hotels—no real luxury brands. However, you can easily walk over to The Parisian and The Londoner, it's quite close. The dining options are inferior to other hotels; none of the restaurants are particularly well-known, giving off more of a food court vibe. As for the iconic Golden Reel (figure-8) Ferris wheel, it's a pity it faces the wrong direction and doesn't offer much of a view. If it faced the Cotai Strip like the room did, it would definitely be a hugely popular photo spot. Didn't visit the famous water park, but it looked quite large. The hotel collaborates with Disney, so the vibe is great for families with kids. There are free shuttle buses to the ferry terminal and the airport.

Upon check in so long time to wait even there’s only 2 guests checking in. No instructions about how to get in our room and no assistance like bell. About the restaurant and the service its excellent the food is tasty and food attendant are helpful and approachable. The amenities and facilities are quite stafisying and we enjoyed it.

The room was spacious, the service was good, and the location was convenient. When booking, pay attention to lunch and breakfast options. I accidentally booked lunch instead of breakfast, and it was a hassle to switch, plus they didn't offer a refund. The hotel doesn't have a shuttle, but the Starworld Hotel across the street does.
