AAnonymous UserOverall, we had a great time at Grand Resort Deck, and if you're coming for the water fun, it's a must-visit. However, there are a few details to note:
1. Many people mention that the hotel provides sand toys and water guns. While they do have them, they're in very short supply. I asked several staff members, and they all said they didn't have any. The Macau staff generally have good attitudes, but I'd still recommend bringing your own.
2. The hotel feels a bit 'stingy' compared to expectations. For example, my friend booked with me, and she also had kids, but because she didn't request a tent in advance, they couldn't get one. Also, contrary to what many bloggers said, there were no small gifts for children. For two kids, they only gave one children's bathrobe and wouldn't allow more. We visited after the Qingming Festival, but it still felt like resources were very limited.
3. Breakfast was really subpar. The first time, we went to a cafe for a semi-buffet and thought we'd gone to the wrong place. There wasn't much variety, and the servers kept bringing the wrong dishes, completely mixing up orders. The dining area was small. They called it a semi-buffet, but the à la carte menu only had some Chinese dim sum. Plus, children over 6 were charged extra. My daughter, who is under 1.2 meters, was still questioned. While I understand paying extra for older kids according to policy, the buffet should at least be more abundant. Given the quality, I really regret booking breakfast. Paying over 700 for breakfast for the family in an environment like that in the picture, I'd rather go to the Galaxy mall or order in-room dining.
My advice for Chinese breakfast is either to try another hotel in Galaxy or just skip booking it here.
4. The hotel is very close to the automated light rail, which was a pleasant surprise. It's very convenient for taking the cable car, watching the House of Dancing Water show, and enjoying the night views. The kids also loved the light rail, finding it very high-tech.

YYunheyue9Two tickets to Studio City Water Park: No queues at all! The experience was fantastic, with lots of indoor and outdoor attractions. The water coaster offered a great sense of weightlessness, and the big wave ride was also a lot of fun. The water was exceptionally clean and indeed kept at a constant 30 degrees Celsius, making it perfect for summer splashing.
Cleanliness: The place was spotless, with sparkling clean windows. The room wasn't huge but had everything you needed: a desk, coffee table, and bedside tables – small but perfectly formed.
There's a food court right downstairs, which is super convenient for eating and drinking.

BbohelyLilyThis is an older hotel. Although it was renovated in 2018, some rooms were still undergoing renovations during my stay, and the facilities genuinely show their age. I was given a room on the 19th floor, despite specifically requesting the 31st floor when booking. At check-in, the hotel lobby informed me that the higher floors were under renovation, which was not communicated to me at the time of booking and felt a bit inappropriate.
On a positive note, the housekeeping staff's service-mindedness was excellent and deserves a special mention.

MMelanyyyy04Genuinely, I stayed at quite a number of hotels in Macau but this one was my favorite 🤩, the location is perfect, taxis pass by almost every 10 mins, they have a free shuttle bus, the pool area is beautiful, the gym is 24/7, the rooms are clean and beautiful, the service was good but only for some staff members, some staff members seemed a bit arrogant, I remember I called in to ask for some medicine, I know the hotel doesn’t have medicine but little help would have mattered such as helping the guest purchase and I can Pay for the extra help but the only thing they told me was to go to the pharmacy and I didn’t have strength to even walk, I felt like I was going to faint and I didn’t know anyone within Macau, it was only one of the staff members, that over heard my conversation with the other staff and offered me some medicine and even gave me water and kept checking up on me, I really appreciated that so much because I don’t know how I would have left the place without his help, I wish i remembered his name but the medicine was from Philippines so I assume he is from the Philippines. Away from that I remember Charles too, who also had good customer service, overall the hotel is good but other staff members need to pay more attention to service.

GGuest UserI stayed at Hotel Metropole Macau and unfortunately had a mixed experience. The biggest issue was the condition of the room. It felt quite old, and there was a strong cigarette smell throughout… from the hallway all the way into the room. The odor was persistent and uncomfortable, and it actually triggered my allergies. If you have rhinitis or are sensitive to smoke, I would strongly advise against staying here, as it can really affect your comfort and overall trip. On the positive side, the location is excellent. The hotel is very centrally located, with many major attractions within walking distance, and it’s easy to get around the area.
Breakfast was simple but filling… nothing fancy, but enough to start your day. Overall, the hotel has great potential because of its location, but improvements in cleanliness and eliminating the cigarette smell would make a big difference. Until then, it may not be the best choice for travelers who are sensitive to odors.

The location is super convenient, and the room view is fantastic; you can see the Grand Lisboa building right from the window, offering an amazing panorama. The dining experience is quite unique. The hotel staff are very attentive and thoughtful, and the room is cleaned daily with a fresh set of toiletries replaced, which truly made for a comfortable and worry-free stay. With such great value for money, I'm definitely satisfied!

GGuest UserOur premium sea view room offered a lovely ocean vista – I highly recommend requesting a higher floor. The hygiene was impeccable, making for a very comfortable stay. As for transportation, there are bus stops directly opposite and next to the hotel, covering most of the popular tourist attractions. If you're heading to The Londoner or The Venetian, you can walk just 5 minutes across to Sands Macao to catch their free shuttle bus, which is super convenient. For a hotel on the Macau Peninsula, it offers excellent value for money! Plus, it's only a 3-minute walk straight back from the famous Marco Polo Open Air Plaza.

AAnonymous UserThe location is excellent, right across from Grand Lisboa, just a 2-minute walk. I stayed on the 11th floor; the room was very clean and tidy, with no strange smells. The bathroom was well-equipped with soap, a shower cap, and lotion. The bed was comfortable. There was only one UK-style power outlet near the dressing table, and the one by the bed was a USB charging port. The soundproofing could be a bit better. It's super close to the 21A/26A bus stop and the famous Lao Day Beef Offal, and Senado Square is also very nearby. Overall, it's great.

AAnonymous UserExcellent, excellent, excellent! The room was even bigger than I expected, very clean and tidy. The bedding was super comfortable, and I slept soundly all night. The soundproofing was also good, so it was very quiet in the evening. The shower pressure in the bathroom was strong, and the hot water came quickly, washing away all my fatigue.

GGuest User1. Convenient transportation: There's a direct shuttle from Gongbei Port to Wynn. 2. Although the hotel is a bit old, the interior decoration is excellent. The rooms and especially the bathrooms are incredibly spacious, a rarity these days. 3. While the breakfast selection isn't huge, the quality is good. I highly recommend the cheese tomatoes – I had three! 4. The hotel is super convenient for shopping at Wynn and also very close to the Grand Lisboa. 5. A hotel with excellent value for money.
