I booked this place for two nights. I saw other reviews saying the accommodation was clean, but for me, the bathroom was quite dirty, as if the housekeeper hadn't cleaned it at all. There were stain marks on the walls and the sink was also stained. However, the duvet and bedsheets were quite clean. On the second night, the housekeeper forgot to provide towels, so I called reception to request some. But after a long wait, no one brought them up, so my partner had to go down to get them himself. The towels for the second night also had a musty smell. The swimming pool and gym were pretty decent for the price. I booked a room with breakfast, and the breakfast was fine. The staff at the restaurant provided excellent service; they were very cheerful, especially a female staff member who took great care of us, and the male staff member who drove us to the main road was also very helpful. Overall, it was quite okay, but I have to deduct points for the cleanliness of the bathroom, as it seemed the housekeeper hadn't cleaned the walls at all.

My stay at Citrus Sukhumvit 13 Nana Bangkok by Compass Hospitality was overall average—there were some positives, but also several noticeable downsides.

On the positive side, the room lighting was bright, and the cleanliness was acceptable. It was decent enough for a comfortable stay, though there is still room for improvement. The soundproofing was better than expected—we stayed in a room near the elevator, but it was not too noisy at night. Only the room abit small for 2 of us. The location is also convenient in terms of nearby amenities, with two 7-Eleven stores and a McDonald's nearby, making it easy to buy essentials or find food.

In terms of transportation, the hotel is not extremely close to the BTS. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the main road, around 8 minutes to Nana BTS Station, and about 10 minutes to Asok BTS Station. Walking can feel tiring, especially in Bangkok’s heat. The hotel does offer a free tuk-tuk shuttle service to the BTS station on weekends, which is a nice bonus. However, we only managed to use it once during our stay and only saw it once, so the schedule did not seem very consistent. It’s better to check with the front desk in advance.

On the downside, we noticed cockroaches outside the hotel entrance, possibly because the drain covers have open holes. This definitely affected the overall impression of cleanliness. The bathroom water temperature was also unstable—the water would suddenly turn hot or cold while showering, and the water pressure was not very strong.

In addition, this hotel is located in the Nana area, which has many bars and a busy nightlife scene. The area can feel crowded and a bit chaotic at night. For solo female travelers or those who prioritize safety and a quieter environment, I would personally recommend considering others.

Overall, this hotel may suit budget travelers looking for a short stay with basic necessities. However, if cleanliness, safety, and overall comfort are high priorities, there may be better options available.

Staffs were very helpful and welcoming. 
However,  i was surprised the hotel allows guests to pack their purchase goods into boxes for delivery right outside my room along the corridor. There were a few people packing with their masking tapes at night until I had to confront them asking what time will they complete. It was until 10.00pm plus when the irritating masking tape sound stopped.
I thought the goods lying along the corridor were posing a fire hazard in terms of catching a fire as well as preventing a quick escape for the hotel guests.
I will avoid staying in Pratunam hotels in future.

I have extended my stay in this hotel multiple times. Everything waa fine apart from there is some issues with water drainage in the hotel shower. It feels like a common issue in Thailand, I have asked to fix. The matter came immediately try to fix but unfortunately next day it got even worth. Staff came immediately to clean after I requested. This is something case by case

Overall a good experience. Clean, friendly service. My flight arrived super early in the morning and they let me check in at 11 for no extra charge. Hotel is right in the thick of it in Nana which while interesting was also a bit annoying, as many people will approach you with varyingly shady propositions.

The room is quite spacious, but some cleanliness issues most notably the glass wall to the bathroom appears to be growing mold of some sort like a petri dish as it is made of double glass which is open at the top into the shower, and is therefore impossible to clean without taking out the whole panel.

They have a bar which seemed mostly occupied by middle age and up white men. They also have a pool, but I was unable to use it during my stay due to the jet lag.

If I was in Sukhumvit again, I’d probably stay again for the price.

It was an extension stay so my previous review remains the same. Checkout was smooth and without hassle, the service counter staffs were courteous 

Please improve the amenities such as toilet door unable to close, bathroom door is missing, and have more power points in the room.

The room was clean, tidy, and very new. There's a small supermarket downstairs, and the surrounding area is great with a bustling street full of bars and shops. It's not far from major hotels and shopping districts, making it an ideal place to stay. There's also an elevator.

This hotel doesn't live up to its 4-star rating. Everything was broken. The faucet kept falling off, and the water was barely warm. In the pool area bathroom, the toilet wouldn't flush. During our stay, they decided to do a major renovation in the hallway right in the middle of the day, making it impossible to get to our room. There were wires everywhere, and the hallways were dark and full of tripping hazards. The hotel spa was also a disappointment.

The guests are primarily Indian, followed by Europeans, and then Russians, in that order.

This hotel badly needs a renovation. On the bright side, the breakfast was good and reasonably priced. The staff were also very kind. I have no desire to return and wouldn't recommend it, especially for families with children.

My friend and I stayed two nights in Pattaya, and overall, it was an experience with 'very distinct pros and cons.' It's suitable for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize convenience, but those with high expectations for quality should probably look elsewhere.

First, the location is absolutely fantastic! The hotel is in the heart of South Pattaya, just a few minutes' walk from Pattaya Beach. Songthaews (public pickup trucks) are readily available right outside, and there are 7-Elevens, restaurants, and massage parlors everywhere. It's super convenient for getting to Walking Street and the Pattaya Princess cruise. Coming back from a night out, you don't have to go out of your way, which I, as someone who loves exploring, really appreciated. Plus, there's free parking, which is a thoughtful touch for those driving, as there's no stress about finding a spot.

The breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The variety was better than expected, with Thai fried noodles, curry, bread, and fruit, as well as some Indian-inspired dishes. The taste was decent, nothing spectacular, but it filled us up and offered good value for money. Some of the front desk staff were quite helpful, answering all our questions and even offering tips for exploring the area, so that experience was pretty good.

However, there were some significant downsides! The room's fixtures and fittings were severely outdated. We booked a room with a balcony, but the walls had mold stains, the towels looked old, and the floor felt a bit wobbly when you walked on it. The worst part was the terrible soundproofing; we could hear noise from the neighboring rooms and the street late at night, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. The cleaning was also quite perfunctory; they only made the bed and emptied the trash daily, without properly wiping down surfaces or the floor. We even found a small bug in a corner, which was a bit off-putting.

The rooftop pool view was mediocre, and the water didn't look particularly clean, so we didn't really dare to swim. Also, the hotel is near the nightlife area, so the music was quite loud at night. I genuinely wouldn't recommend it for families with children.

In summary, for the price of 300-500 baht, the amenities are pretty standard. Its main advantages are the convenient location and ease of getting around, making it suitable for travelers who just need a place to crash and spend most of their day out exploring. If the hotel could improve the cleaning and soundproofing, the experience would be much better.

This is the second time I've stayed in this property but the previous time it was a Dusit  D2 property and I guess this property has changed hands and is now run by HEETON  concept and it's called Hotel Barraquda by HEETON 
It's a very spacious room and a very inviting pool to hang out with fellow travelers. 
Also a great place to do some laps and catch some rays. 

I have stayed in different types of hotels, worldwide, and I have to say that this hotel Barraquda needs a revamp. I think they have neglected in the maintainance part of this hotel, especially in the rooms 

in the room where I was assigned there was ￼a ”mildew or perhaps moldy” smell.
I give it a chance of hopefully that smell dissipating however, after two hours that smell was still looming around 

I then decided to inform them of  the situation citing reasons that this ”smell” could affect my lungs 

I requested for a room change ￼and that request was promptly acceded  to . 

The new room was not all that different as far as the smell was concerned ￼
However, it was not as looming as in the previous room. 
Overall, it was a pleasant day, especially with the very friendly staff all around ￼￼

Nice place amazing views , we’re always interested in trying new places and new bed and breakfast. 
Room was lovely and breakfast was delicious.. would definitely go back. Great value for money

We had a great stay at the Crown Spa Hotel. All the staff were super friendly, nothing was to much trouble. The rooms were clean and fresh, we had a sea view. Meals in the Restaurant were very good value and excellent quality.
We had treatments in the Spa, the Girls were super friendly, welcoming and chatty.
We will certainly be returning.
