Nisha, our butler, provided excellent and responsive service, catering to all our needs. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The room environment was generally fine, but there was a musty smell in the hallway, which is a significant drawback that can't really be helped. However, we happened to check in at the same time as a senior citizen tour group, and it felt quite noisy. We hope the breakfast area arrangements can be further improved.

The InterContinental Shanghai Jing'an is definitely my first choice when I travel to Shanghai for business. It's just a block away from Shanghai Railway Station, the breakfast is plentiful, the rooms are clean and tidy, and both the Chinese and Japanese restaurants are excellent. I also really like the gym, swimming pool, and steam room. Bella at the front desk is super nice and provides great service. I'll keep choosing this hotel!

Great location with convenient transportation. This is an older, well-established five-star hotel in the Pudong area that has been very well-maintained. The service is professional and attentive to detail. The surrounding area has a full range of commercial amenities, making it very convenient for meetings and business discussions.

I came to Hongkan for a concert, and staying at this hotel was very convenient. I compared a couple of platforms, and Trip.com had the best price, so I booked it. The room was probably the most basic in the hotel, but the size was decent. It was cleaned well, and I even received complimentary welcome fruit and a small cake upon check-in. The staff at the entrance were enthusiastic about helping with my luggage, and the front desk ladies were warm and attentive. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options suitable for all ages. It's very close to the subway station, and only one or two stops away from both the airport and high-speed rail station.

Even before checking in, I was looking forward to its location. The hotel is situated on Ruijin 2nd Road, right next to the Huaihai Road commercial area, within walking distance of Tianzifang, and very close to Shaanxi South Road Metro Station. Its convenience in a bustling city is simply unbeatable. However, it wasn't until I truly stepped through its gates that I understood what 'hidden gem in the city' truly means. A 55,000 square meter English garden embraces century-old red-brick villas, with a large lawn, ancient trees, fountains, and old Western-style houses creating a picturesque scene. Just beyond the walls lies the bustling city, yet within the garden, it's a serene and tranquil world of its own.

The hotel's overall sense of luxury isn't about superficial glitz; rather, it's a refined and unhurried elegance that has settled over time. The lobby is elegant and grand, and every brick and tile within the historic buildings exudes the charm of old Shanghai. Every snap of a photo captures a beautiful scene. The guest rooms are clean and comfortable, with soft and skin-friendly bedding, and the meticulous service in every detail ensures a good night's sleep.

The breakfast truly deserves special mention. It's rich in variety and exquisite, offering a full spread of Chinese and Western pastries, made-to-order noodles, fresh fruits, and desserts. The presentation is refined, and the taste is well above average. Dining with a view of the garden is an absolute treat. This was a stay that offered both historical depth and modern comfort, making it worth revisiting.

My family came to Shanghai for a trip, and we looked at many hotels. Hotel prices in Shanghai have gone up quite a bit during the summer vacation, but this hotel's price-performance ratio is still quite good. InterContinental quality is always guaranteed. It's located right by the Huangpu River; just go downstairs, turn right, and cross the street, and you're on the riverside promenade. It's about a ten-minute drive to the 'Three Piece Suit' (Lujiazui skyscrapers), the Science and Technology Museum, and the East Pavilion of the Shanghai Museum, which is very convenient. We were upgraded to a river view room on the 30th floor. As soon as we entered, we saw the cleaning staff cleaning the glass curtain wall from the outside – they work so hard in the scorching summer heat. The breakfast was good, with a variety of Chinese and Western dishes, and the gym facilities were comprehensive. Overall, it was great, and we'll definitely come again.

The InterContinental Dishui Lake is one of the larger and best-located hotels among the cluster of lakeside properties. Occupying the entire South Island, it's widely recognized as the prime spot for viewing fireworks and drone shows.

While many people choose popular spots like the Twin Towers or the Singing White Clouds to watch the night view and performances, the InterContinental offers a quieter and more upscale vantage point. The drone show circles along the lake, and the hotel directly faces the entire lake view, with no obstructions or crowds. Whether from the balcony or the lakeside lawn, you can easily enjoy the complete light trajectory and reflections on the lake, making for a very comfortable viewing experience.

This time, I stayed in an executive suite, and the overall experience was very satisfying. The room was spacious and airy, with clearly defined functional areas. The layout was well-designed and stylish, balancing aesthetics with practicality. The overall flow was intuitive, and the living atmosphere was quiet and comfortable, making it suitable for both short breaks and relaxing vacations. The room comfort far exceeded many other hotels in the same area.

A major plus was the executive lounge privileges. Afternoon tea is served daily from 2:30 PM for two hours, and an evening light meal is available from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The food was delicate and light, not greasy, and the portions were just right. This was very friendly for me, as I'm on a diet; I could easily get full without needing to order extra meals, which was both convenient and stress-free regarding my diet. It offered great value for a vacation.

Regarding family-friendly amenities, the hotel has a small children's playground with gentle and safe facilities, more suitable for preschool children under eight years old to simply let off some steam. The children's splash pool is relatively basic, without slides. It's said that this design decision was made to preserve the unobstructed lake view for fireworks reflections at night, thus simplifying the water facilities. Older children might find it less engaging.

The hotel's breakfast area is very large, with an open and airy environment, but objectively speaking, the variety of dishes isn't extensive. While basic categories are complete, clean, and orderly, there aren't many unique options, making the overall experience average without many surprises.

Overall, the biggest advantages of the InterContinental Dishui Lake are its **South Island view, excellent night view location, comfortable executive room types, and hassle-free lounge service.** It's highly recommended for those who want to watch fireworks and drone shows, prefer a quiet vacation, or have young children. It's a high-quality hotel well worth choosing for a Dishui Lake getaway.

Everything was great, from the front desk to the service and room cleanliness. One afternoon, I returned to my room just as the cleaning was finished. A few minutes later, a staff member even knocked on the door to check if everything was satisfactory with the cleaning, which I assume is part of their quality control. Very impressive! Hotel guests also get a discount when booking the dinner buffet at the front desk.

I often go to Dubai and choose this hotel for the first time, it didn't disappoint me
Because I have to meet with many partners, I must choose a lobby grade, which is very suitable!
Service is also very thoughtful

This place is so convinience, the location in between dubai marina and jbr beach so you can go everywhere by walk. If u drive it’s easy to park and drive as well. The hotel is clean and the staff as well so friendly.
Got lucky we have dubai wheels view and dubai marina view.

Excellent location 10 minutes from the Dubai Mall and most places of interest.
Super clean variety of foods, excellent service from the staff who attended us.

We stayed at the Intercontinental from August 31st to September 3rd – two adults and children aged 16 and 10. We chose a deluxe room with a garden view (which actually offered views of both the garden and skyscrapers) with two double beds. From the pictures, the beds looked large, but in reality, they were more like 1.5-person beds. The room itself was decent, but upon arrival, we had concerns about the cleanliness. We asked the staff for a cleaner room. They asked us to wait, and given our initial disappointment with the room, the hotel decided to compensate us with an upgraded room. That's when the magic began, as we found ourselves in an apartment! It featured a beautiful living room, a large master bedroom, and another room with two separate beds. There were two bathrooms and three toilets. It was a very spacious and beautiful room; we can't even imagine how much it costs. This upgrade was arranged by a hotel staff member named Dafne. She was so concerned that we were upset and wanted to make our stay more enjoyable. She certainly succeeded, as the room was simply magnificent. Additionally, we were constantly asked if everything was alright and if we were satisfied. The hotel breakfasts were excellent, with everything you could need. Fresh vegetables, fruits, yogurts, omelets, meats – you definitely wouldn't leave hungry. They also served delicious coffee and many fresh juices. The hotel has a fantastic pool and water park; even at 40, you can still enjoy the slides! It was our daughter's birthday, and Dafne helped us order a cake and arrange a lovely presentation during breakfast. Of course, the hotel isn't new, but it has a great atmosphere, is cozy, and the staff tries their absolute best. We really appreciated the attention. A big thank you to Dafne for her care and concern!

I had such a wonderful stay this time, I just have to share! 😁

As soon as I walked in, I was captivated by Amanda at the front desk ≽^⚈⩊⚈^⩼. She was beautiful, had a sweet voice, and was incredibly efficient. She smiled throughout, introducing me to all the hotel facilities and thoughtfully reminding me when breakfast ended and the pool opened. Her attention to detail immediately won me over! Even though I'm just a basic club member, she patiently explained the member benefits and even gave me two drink vouchers to redeem during the day – so nice!!! When I checked in late at night, she thoughtfully asked if I needed a late check-out; truly full of thoughtful details.

The room was 50 square meters, perfect for one person! The large French windows offered an expansive view, and the bed was so soft it felt like sinking into clouds – I didn't want to get up even to turn over. The room's overall style was modern and minimalist, with warm tones and soft lighting. The smart control system allowed me to adjust the curtains and air conditioning with a single touch. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, and the toiletries were premium Byredo products, exuding luxury!!! The hotel lobby's design was full of character; every photo I took looked like a masterpiece.

I absolutely must rave about the breakfast! There were so many options that it was hard to choose. The freshly made wontons were delicious, and there was an endless supply of Western pastries and fresh juices. There were also various egg options to choose from; the Eggs Benedict was the absolute best!!!

The pool was also amazing. The constant water temperature was just right; after a couple of laps, I felt completely refreshed. Lounging on a poolside chair, I felt utterly content with life.

In short, I truly love this hotel. I made sure to write this review before checking out. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shenzhen!!

First off, the check-in time was indeed quite long, but it's understandable given it was peak summer season. They even offered drinks while we waited, which was a nice touch! As an InterContinental member, I also received two complimentary drinks at the bar.

The hotel's facilities are excellent. I went for a spa treatment while my child and husband went swimming – a perfect arrangement. As soon as I finished my spa, the butler notified me that our room key was ready! There was also a welcome fruit platter in the room.

The room's view was absolutely unbeatable! We truly felt at home and enjoyed every moment.

However, I actually found the breakfast to be even better than the dinner buffet. The oil-splashed noodles at breakfast were delicious 😋, and the chef who made them had such character, clearly demonstrating his passion for food. I really admire him! Thumbs up to him! 👍

For dinner, the seafood wasn't very fresh; the oysters and crab meat were quite loose. Plus, on the second night, we wanted to try the Southeast Asian restaurant, but upon arrival, many dishes were unavailable, which was a bit disappointing, so we left to eat elsewhere. Also, the restaurant closes at 9:30 PM.

Overall, having stayed at this hotel over 10 years ago, returning now with my child, I still highly recommend it! The pool and beach are amazing, offering great privacy for guests! We will definitely be back 😊
