Written by: This stay was fantastic! The hotel has a great location, just a 3-minute walk to the shopping area. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable and odor-free. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, quickly checking me in and telling me about nearby restaurants. The facilities were complete and well-maintained, and the WiFi signal was stable. Nowhere near a subway but I didn’t read the map correctly before booking. It was in the middle of nowhere but room was really spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful- initially said I needed to go to police station to register but I refused, and it was fine. Also got a late checkout (2pm) for free, which was great, after finishing half marathon miles away. One thing I found annoying was getting there and finding room rates had gone down to half of what I already paid.

Good location! Close to Zhonglou Street and Food Street, it is very convenient to take a taxi to Shanxi Museum, Shuangta Temple, Beiqi Mural Museum, Taiyuan South Station. There is also a self-service pick-up point for Shenzhou car rental nearby. There is also Taiyuan's largest Guandi Temple next to it.
