I flew ANA from Chicago, transiting through Tokyo on my way back home, and decided to stay for three days in Tokyo. My flight back to Shanghai was from T2, so I chose this hotel. After landing at T3, I took the airport bus to T2. The hotel is located on the second floor of the terminal, near the ANA domestic check-in area. The room was indeed quite small, but perfectly fine for a single traveler. It only had standard amenities; no makeup remover, lotion, or body cream. The room was well-maintained and clean, and you could choose your cleaning preference daily.

When booking, I requested a high-floor, good-view, and quiet room. The front desk gave me the highest floor, the 7th. Upon checking in at night, I noticed the room faced Terminals T1 & T3, with a construction site below. Thankfully, the soundproofing was excellent, so my rest wasn't disturbed. To my surprise, on a clear morning the next day, I could clearly see Mount Fuji from my room window!

Getting to the city center from the hotel was also very convenient. You can take the Tokyu Line from T2 to near Tokyo Station in about 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can transfer to the JR line at Shinagawa to reach Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, and other areas. On my second day, I even left at 7 AM to take the Tobu Nikko Limited Express from Tobu Asakusa Station for a day trip to Nikko.

I didn't book breakfast beforehand but purchased a buffet breakfast at the front desk (original price 3300 JPY, guest discount price 2800 JPY). The breakfast was quite good, offering both Japanese and Western options. The ingredients were fresh and high quality, and items were replenished promptly. Breakfast hours are from 5 AM to 10 AM, which is very convenient for those catching early flights. Additionally, right outside the hotel are a row of souvenir shops, where you can get tax-free shopping for purchases over 5000 JPY.

The only minor inconvenience is that to get to the ANA international departures, you have to walk through the domestic check-in area from one end of the terminal to the other, then go up to the 3rd floor. This can take over 10 minutes, especially if you're pulling luggage.

One most convenient hotel strategically located right @ Shibuya Crossing 🚠⛩️🏔️, easy access to anywhere in Tokyo. The room has cosy bed 🛌 for great beauty sleep. Best thing, the hotel offers Airport Limo bus 🚌 transfers right @ the Level 5 Lobby carpark area. There are countless oishi eateries, great retail shopping 🛍️ & spa nearby for relaxing massage. Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Location is great, few minutes walk to JR and subway station, and airport limousine bus stop too. There are lots of restaurants, small shops, big shopping center nearby. What makes it even better is the huge park where you can see Sakura in Spring and Red leaves in Autumn. Kichijoji is an alternative to Central Tokyo where you get less touristy stuff and more local vibe. Yet, only 1 hour from Haneda airport, 30 mins to Shinjuku and Shibuya. You can even explore more to the west too. Things are cheaper here.
The hotel is decent and reasonably priced. Breakfast with great variety. I'd say a nice choice with good value for money.

The location is unbeatable — it’s directly connected to Shibuya Station, which was incredibly helpful since Tokyo’s train system can feel overwhelming at first. Being able to walk straight into the hotel after a long day of exploring was a huge plus.

The area is lively but safe, with plenty of restaurants, shopping, and convenience stores nearby. I never felt lost or unsure about getting around.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a modern design. Staff were polite and helpful, and communication in English was smooth, which made check-in simple and reassuring.

Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for first-time travelers to Tokyo who want convenience, comfort, and peace of mind. I would definitely stay here again.

If you're planning to be out and about all the time, this hotel is perfect. 3-min walk to Shibuya station and major shopping destinations. The room is definitely a shoebox but if you're only looking for a clean place to rest after a long stroll in the city, this could be one of your options. Check-in process is seamless. Just be aware that the hotel doesn't accept credit card payments without the physical card - contactless from phone or smart watch is not possible. The hotel provides skin and hair care at the lobby that you can take anytime during your stay and they're great! They also provide water dispenser (both hot and cold temp) on each floor which is handy when you need to fill up your water bottle.  Will definitely return!

This hotel is excellent! The location is superb, the rooms are spotless, and the surrounding area has a fantastic vibe with plenty of shopping and attractions. Although they initially gave me a small room when I booked a medium one, they apologized and switched my room the next morning, even compensating me with a meal. While the hotel itself is small, there are tons of restaurants nearby, offering a wide variety of cuisines. I'd definitely want to stay here again!

Wonderful hotel that goes above and beyond for families traveling with children. From the child amenity kits and pajamas for our toddler to the crib and diaper pail for our infant we felt that every need was met which made for a really comfortable trip. The 7eleven in the hotel was the icing on the cake! We also were able to utilize the Poppins onsite daycare although this is run independently and you should book well in advance of your trip as only 1 day that we requested was available for booking. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

The room is nice but there is no bathtub in the room which is not convenient for us because we have small children with us. The hangers in the entrance right side were covered with dust. There were coffee and water in the room since we have children we hope to have juice for the kids too.
The breakfast was very good, the cook and servers are very polite. The bread and miso soup was very good.

I come to Tokyo several times a year, staying a fortnight or more each time. This time I spent seven nights at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu.

The room faced Hie Shrine. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows I could see the shrine's copper roof and half of Tokyo's skyline. The décor was modern without excess; the layout flowed easily, Bose speakers hidden in the walls, another set in the bathroom ceiling, connected by a 3.5mm jack. The curtains were motorized, though you hardly needed to close them.

The turndown service. I would leave in the evening and return late to find the room changed: only the hallway light and bedside lamp left on, a bottle of water and a glass on the nightstand, two chocolates beside them. The evening tea and teacup, previously stored in the cabinet, had been moved next to the coffee machine. These changes were so slight you had to think back carefully to confirm they had happened at all. The temperature and humidity had been adjusted. As if the room itself remembered your habits.

Room service fell short of the ryokan in Hakone or Lake Toya, but well above the ordinary hotel. Each day I made two or three cups of complimentary coffee, played music, read, wrote. In seven days I finished three books. The research ahead began to take shape.

There were drawbacks. No washing machine, but a decent laundromat ten minutes' walk away—a chance to wander the streets of Akasaka. The room provided HDMI and ethernet ports but no cables; for those who came to rest, perhaps a mercy. The minibar fridge was mostly occupied by drinks for purchase, same as the Imperial, though there was still room for my sparkling water.

The day I left it was half past five and fully dark. I could barely make out the faces of the bellhop and the taxi driver. Together they loaded my luggage into the boot. I wished the bellhop a happy new year in Japanese and told her I liked her hat. She smiled and returned the greeting. As the taxi pulled out of the underground drive, I thought of the inns Kawabata once wrote about: what had to be sought in the mountains of snow country can now be reached by elevator from the B2 exit of a metro station.

I have watched the Shinagawa Prince Hotel loosen quietly over time, slip a little. That kind of decline is rarely one great error. It begins the day someone forgets to leave a glass of water, neglects to move a packet of tea, omits a newspaper. As for The Capitol Hotel Tokyu: in Japanese, what I experienced over these seven days is called ちょうどいい.

The basics of all city hotels - location, location, location..... !!! And Hotel Stream is smacked in the heart of everything Sapporo has to offer unless you prefer a quieter and calmer spot then this hotel is NOT for you.

Rooms are pretty standard in terms of size and amenities, it's, quiet, and great for city strolling. If your intention is to use this hotel as your base to do day trips to Furano & Biei, The Hill of the Buddha Moai, or the renowned Otaru (which unfortunately isn't that muchl unless you're a die hard music box & glass making fan) this is your BEST CHOICE until Hyatt House opens in Oct 2026 (a bird told me - for those Globalist out there) . 

Oh... a BIG tip by the way (if you've been reading till this point: request for a room with a direct view of the Sapporo's ferries wheel (not that I am a fan lol) or the view of the Nikka advertisement on my attached photo - they are worth it. It's amazing to sleep with such stunning view and wake up to one..... (check out my photos taken from my room) 

In case you wonder if that pic of me by the glass overlooking thr Nikka ad sign - that's the main breakfast restaurant where you will be having your daily breakfast but u have to get there early to book that seat, otherwise sit through breakfast till they close and then u get to take this photo for as long as you please......

Ok ok ok... i know I'm a little long winded. 

But hey... oh yeah... u need to know that you can take a limousine bus from CTS (Chitose International Airport) to Susukino which takes about 50mins on way for JPY1500 per person. Easy weasy and the from the bus stop in susukino where most will disembark  - it's only a 5min walk to Hotel Stream which ISN'T that obvious as the hotel sign is NOT exactly on the building. You have to look out for a building that reads ”Coco-something” (ops forgotten the name of the building) and the hotel lobby is located on the 7th floor of that building which also house a shopping center, movie theater and numerous restaurants.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The meeting point for the day tour I booked was right here at the hotel, which saved me a lot of travel time and hassle.
The room was a bit small; I could barely open my 24-inch suitcase, but it was well-equipped with everything I needed.
My room type included complimentary breakfast, and the hotel's breakfast was delicious!
My main requirements for a hotel are a convenient location, cleanliness, and safety. Overall, I was quite satisfied and would consider staying here again if I have the chance.

I stayed here for an ARASHI concert. When I booked, there weren't many hotels left. This one had a decent location, and at the time, the price was relatively affordable, even though it was still just under 2100 yen for one night.

Facilities: The hotel is 30 years old, but I found the facilities to be perfectly adequate. Plus, there's a nice vanity area outside the bathroom where you can sit and get ready. The room itself was also quite spacious.

Service: The service was very good. When I booked, there were no non-smoking rooms available, but I emailed the hotel, and they said they could prepare the room for me with a smoke-free treatment. Indeed, there was no cigarette smell when I checked in.

Facilities: All the basics are covered, and they even provide a small stool in the bathroom, which is a thoughtful touch.  
Hygiene: Extremely clean and tidy. The wet and dry areas in the bathroom are well-separated. 
Environment: Right outside is Universal Studios and the JR station, making it super convenient to get around. 
Service: Warm and patient. Even with a language barrier, communication was effortless. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.

The hotel enjoys an excellent location, conveniently situated close to the main shopping street and many of the city’s key attractions, making it ideal for both leisure and business travelers. 

Public transportation is very accessible, with the metro station just a short walk away. From there, it takes only two stops to reach the JR line that connects directly to the Airport Express, which is extremely convenient for arrivals and departures.

The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist, creating a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere throughout the stay. 

The breakfast offers a good variety of options and provides a satisfying start to the day. 

The hotel amenities are well-maintained and thoughtfully provided, ensuring guests have everything they need.

The room itself was clean, well-kept, and comfortable. One of the highlights was the excellent shower facility, which was modern, spacious, and very enjoyable to use after a long day of exploring. 

Overall, the hotel delivers a high standard of comfort and convenience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The hotel is a little old but it’s still well maintained and clean, which made the stay comfortable overall. While it’s a bit of a walk from Osaka Station, it’s easy to get there via the underground passageways and connected shopping malls, allowing you to avoid traffic and bad weather. The surrounding area is very convenient, with plenty of dining options and convenience stores nearby.

The room size is on the smaller side, so if you’re travelling with two large suitcases, it might be a bit of a struggle to fully open them in the room. However, it offers good value for money given its location.
