Hotels near Remnant of coastal defense, Hong Kong

Temporary stay for work, newly opened a few months better than nearby hotels, spacious place, nearby food markets, are local cuisine, but the toilet is a bit damp, next time, will go in to stay, warm reminder: air conditioning is very sufficient, I was afraid of the cold and had to go to the front desk and tell my little brother. He was very nice. The owner of this hotel employs good employees and raises his salary.

Stayed at this hotel multiple times for business and leisure trips and it has always been great. The room is spacious compared to other city hotels in Hong Kong. The hotel offers nice breakfast as well. The proximity to the metro and APM mall is a definitely a plus. Would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Convenient location and good for a short stay. Close to Causeway Bay and the tram station is a short walk. It is not convenient to walk to the hotel from the MTR station if you have heavy luggage. Room is small but well laid out. The double bed is a bit misleading as it was two single beds put together with a thin pad covering. The washroom is small but excellent water pressure in the shower and lots of hot water. There is a convenient sitting out area on the 4th floor with what seems to be laundry facilities for guests, though not sure if there is a charge. A few areas for improvement that seem to be issues with training: 1. The shower had some surface mold. This is always a challenge for hotels in HK but was disappointed it was not cleaned after my first night. 2. The television menu of channels did not correspond with the available channels. 3. While the service was good when checking in, I was not happy with a different attendant when leaving. I asked about the location to get a taxi because of the need to take the flyover. Rather than listen to my request, the attendant just said the taxi will stop in front of the hotel. This resulted in driving around the block to get to the flyover, which takes time due to traffic. It would be better to walk around the corner to get a taxi.

Hotel location is ok I saw the hotel has good prices for long term stays , at the room I read a letter from the hotel about renovations on some of the hotel upper floors but we didn’t notice anything ( we stay on the 12 floor )

A good standard for a couple of knights, clean, neat, I especially appreciated bright decor and huge window with a view (through the houses) at the HK CEC. For Hong Kong, a spacious room with shower and toilet separated. Location is convenient to the MTR, trams, buses (incl. the airport bus though the trip is, logically, longer than from the west side of the island). 7eleven at the heel, Victoria Harbour promenade a few steps away, walkable to Lee Gardens / Time Square.

Excellent stay at the Lanson. Am moving to HK and stayed here during my first visit to HK. The staff was exceptionally friendly and really went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Kevin went above and beyond meeting me close to midnight when I arrived at the hotel and just making sure I felt welcomed. He also gave me suggestions on where to eat, how to ask for traditional milk tea in Cantonese, etc. Hotel is beautifully designed and exceptionally clean as they recently went through a renovation. Food was amazing and breakfast buffet was a particular favorite. I was even able to do laundry at their self service laundry room free of charge to guests. I will not hesitate recommending Lanson to anyone visiting. Location was also great - close to MTR, high end shops, and restaurants. I will be back !

Excellent location, close to many things. Can take bus A11 from the airport with the stop opposite of the hotel. On the way back to the airport, you’ll need to cross back to the street where you alight, but turn right to continue on Gloucester Rd till you hit Kingston and the bus stop is on Gloucester Rd. Our room was booked with 2 twins and a sofa bed but we had to wait till 3pm for this room, so the hotel offered us a king bed with a sofa bed and we said ok and could check in right away at 11ish am. Our shower drain was stuck and they fixed it right away. Our TV control wasn’t working and they changed a new one right away and even came back to ask us if both things function well. They care!

One of the best hotel in Hong Kong. The view in room is astonishing and perfect where I can see clearly the Victoria harbor daytime and nighttime, especially at night.

Renaissance was a great stay only marred by a slight confusions on check in with the booking having been entered for July rather than June, but swiftly dealt with. Great location, especially for anyone traveling down from Shenzhen, fantastic breakfast, and extremely friendly staff. Harbour view is absolutely worth it!

It’s my usual choice after working late in Wan Chai district and have a restful night. Comfortable place to stay.
