"The hotel is expeptionaly clean and locatedin in a very quiet location. There are only 2 issues with this hotel, first the walls are papper thin so you can hear your neigbor quiet clearly. Second, in order to get to the hotel you need to walk past a sleazy night bar with the usual middle aged bar workers yelling out, specially ;if you are a male walking alone to the hotel at 10 pm. First time this happens the heckling is cute but it wears off pretty quick. Over all, i do recomend the hotel due to it’s quiet location and only 2 minutes walk to the Nana BTS."

"Overall, I had a very good experience staying at the Ramada Grand Swiss. The room was great, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a really good night's sleep. The only downside to the stay was the shower. The water pressure and the water heater were quite inconsistent—the pressure would fluctuate between strong and weak, and the water heater kept turning on and off during use. Despite the plumbing inconsistency, it is overall a very good place to stay, and the comfort of the room makes it worth it. I would definitely stay here again, but I hope engineering can look into the water pressure balancing. Feel free to tweak any part of it before posting!"

"For the price, it is fine. I wasn't expecting much. I did start to see more small cockroaches/ bugs in my bathroom on my second last day, but it really wasn't because the staff did not keep it clean enough (maybe). I was on the 7th floor and at times you could hear some outside noise, but for the most part the only noise that really bothered me was the slamming of doors (that weren't really being slammed, but they are just built that way that they don't close quietly. All that said, I would stay again. The price is good."

"I cannot recommend the Ambassador Hotel enough. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—friendly, efficient, and genuinely warm. The hotel itself strikes that perfect balance between vintage character and modern amenities. The lobby is stunning, and our room was spotless, spacious, and surprisingly quiet. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the blackout curtains ensured a great night's sleep. The location is ideal, close to great restaurants and attractions, yet peaceful enough to feel like a retreat. We also loved the complimentary coffee in the morning and the cozy bar area for an evening drink."

"I had a wonderful stay at lyf Sukhumvit 8 Bangkok! As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe, comfortable, and welcomed throughout my time here. I really wish I could have stayed longer! All the staff members were extremely friendly and always eager to help. Once again, a huge special thanks to Ben, who was incredibly helpful when my luggage got lost—her support meant the world to me! Thank you so much for everything! The hotel’s location is perfect. It is quiet and peaceful with no disturbing noise, yet just under a 2-minute walk to Nana BTS station (which I used the most) and a pleasant 10–12 minute walk to the Sukhumvit line. Another big plus was the bathroom: contrary to what I had heard about weak water pressure in Bangkok, the water pressure here was super strong, with perfect hot and cold temperatures. Plus, when the bathroom door is closed, no water leaks into the bedroom at all. Everything was perfect. If I visit Bangkok again, I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended, especially for solo travelers! Best of all, there is a 7-Eleven right across the street—literally just 3 seconds to walk from the hotel! I already miss Thai tea so much! 🥹"

"The hotel has a great environment, a convenient location, and reasonable prices. However, the major downside is the lack of Wi-Fi. As a traveler without a Thai SIM card, I rely entirely on the hotel's internet for my phone and laptop. The hotel claimed there was a network failure and that it would take several days to fix. I believe this is a minor and easily solvable issue, yet the hotel did not take it seriously. When I was checking out at noon, I couldn't book a ride to the airport due to the lack of internet. I asked the front desk for help. Although the ride-hailing app showed a fare of 200 THB, I was charged nearly 400 THB upon arrival. If the driver was going to charge by meter anyway, what was the point of using a ride-hailing app? I was also charged extra for highway tolls. None of this would have happened if the hotel had provided a working internet connection. Overall, this hotel gave me a very unpleasant experience.

"We stayed at Maison Hotel Bangkok in the Natee Deluxe King room from June 18–23, and honestly, we wish we had booked a few more nights! It was also our wedding anniversary during our stay, and the hotel surprised us with a bottle of champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries. It was such a thoughtful and sweet gesture that made our celebration even more special. We truly appreciated the extra effort. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. Everyone was genuinely friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality really made our stay extra special. We'd also like to give a special shoutout to the cleaning lady on the 10th floor. She was always so warm and cheerful, greeting us with a big smile every time we saw her. It's little interactions like that that made us feel even more at home during our stay. One of the things we loved most was the location. You get the best of both worlds—it's just a short walk to the lively Nana area with its vibrant nightlife, restaurants, and BTS Nana Station, but once you're back at the hotel, it's surprisingly peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed exploring the neighborhood on foot, but on hot and humid days, the complimentary tuk-tuk ride to Nana Station was such a thoughtful perk. If I could suggest one small improvement, it would be to either make the tuk-tuk service available with a bit more flexibility or provide guests with a copy of the shuttle schedule in each room. We only found out about some of the time slots later during our stay, and having the schedule readily available would be really helpful. The breakfast buffet deserves a special mention—it was AMAZING! There was a great variety of food every morning, and everything we tried was delicious. The restaurant staff were just as warm, welcoming, and attentive as everyone else in the hotel. We also tried the Somtum restaurant right across the lobby, and wow... the food was incredible! I was never really a fan of som tam before, but after eating there, I completely changed my mind. Everything we ordered was so flavorful and authentic. Overall, our stay was everything we hoped for—comfortable, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing. Maison Hotel truly felt like a little oasis in the middle of Bangkok, and it's definitely one of the highlights of our trip. We left wishing we had stayed longer, and we'll absolutely be back on our next visit. Kudos to the entire management and staff for creating such a wonderful experience. Thank you for making our wedding anniversary and our Bangkok trip so memorable. We can't wait to come back! ❤️"

"The subway, both elevated and underground, is right nearby. Your friend in this city, a taxi, can let you down; instead of 20 minutes, you might end up driving for 1.5 hours. It's located on a street that's 'bursting with life' – everything you need is there: 7-Eleven, bars, cafes for every taste. The room was tidy and clean. Towels were changed, and cleaning was done regularly. The hotel provides complimentary items (water and tea), while everything else costs money, as is typical everywhere."

"The room was spacious, and the location was very convenient. There's a 7-Eleven downstairs, and it seemed quite close to the BTS Skytrain, though we ended up taking motorbike taxis everywhere and didn't use it. The service was excellent. Just be aware that you'll need to prepare 1000 Thai Baht in cash for the deposit."

"This hotel is about a 15-minute walk from Nana BTS station. There's a fairly large 7-Eleven just 100 meters from the hotel entrance, and it's pretty well-stocked. Overall, the hotel is quite good. I found the bed very comfortable, and they provide three pillows (high, medium, and low) to suit different preferences. A mini-fridge and a safe are standard amenities, which is convenient. The hotel isn't on the main street, so the constant drone of motorcycles that fills Bangkok barely affects it. There can be some noise from nearby bars at night, but for someone with decent sleep habits like me, it's not loud enough to need earplugs. The air conditioning works really well, cooling down the room quickly when you come in from outside. The hotel also has a shuttle service to Nana station at set times, which is very handy for getting around. However, there were a couple of minor issues during my stay. Firstly, the water quality is indeed quite poor. I compared it to my shower filter's PP cotton, and it looked like it had been used for four showers, and there were even small black particles that hadn't been filtered out. I'd recommend bringing your own filtering showerhead if you stay here. Secondly, there's the hotel's location. Walking back to the hotel from the BTS station at night, I was approached by twenty to thirty sex workers who would tap my shoulder, touch my arm, and say hello. For someone who isn't looking for that kind of interaction and is simply staying at the hotel, it's really not a pleasant experience. Overall, the hotel itself offers above-average environment and service, but given how complex the Nana area is, I probably won't choose to stay in this neighborhood again in the future."

GGuest UserGood as always! Though no shopping mall near the hotel, there’s 2 restaurants and 7-11 nearby. It’s only one stop from T21, and a few stops from Dusit Central Park and One Bangkok. It is also very quick to get to the airport via the airport line. I personally find it a good choice to stay in bkk with such a budget price yet enjoying a good service.

AAnonymous UserMy overall experience at this hotel was excellent. The check-in process was quick and efficient, handled by friendly front desk staff who provided great service. The room was clean and comfortable with a well-designed layout. The bed was soft and provided a good night's sleep, and the bathroom was spotless and bright with a full set of amenities. The overall environment was very relaxing. All in-room facilities, including the air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and TV, worked perfectly, and I encountered no issues during my stay. The hotel's public facilities were also very well-maintained. Whether it was the restaurant, gym, or lounge areas, you could tell they put a lot of effort into their operations. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh food, catering to different guests' needs. Moreover, the hotel boasts a convenient location, close to transport links and commercial areas, making it ideal for sightseeing, shopping, or business trips. All in all, this stay left me with a wonderful impression. Not only was the accommodation comfortable, but the staff were also professional and enthusiastic, making for a very pleasant experience. If I have the chance to visit this area again in the future, I would definitely choose this hotel again and recommend it to my friends and family.

GGuest Userit was an AWESOME STAY but location is a little hard to find at first. overall place was clean and people were friendly! toilet was CLEAAAAN. there is also a communal hairdryer it works pretty well. at night there is a fish auction i think. therefore, walking to 711 at 3am is pretty safe. personally as there is more people there late at night i feel it is safer. it is located beside the fish market so if you're sensitive to smells it might not be suited for you. there is also an ATM nearby. The BTS and pier is also near the hostel therefore transportation is prettty solid. lots of common areas to do your work! rooms are pretty soundproof as well! i did NOT encounter much mosquitos surprisingly! i had a mosquito bite like 5 times throughout my stay. i did not wear insect repellent at all! able to put your own food in the common fridge. shoe locker is also provided! there is also a locker to put all your stuff. there is luggage space but it is in the common area and the door is easily accessible. please do buy a lock for your luggage bedding is GOOD, mattress is GOOD, pillow can get uncomfortable though, not much neck support. a really good seafood buffet located beside the hostel! overall, i would DEFINITELY COME BACK! loved my stay there. if you're not bothered by fish smells this is probably the place for you!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is conveniently located near Ramkhamhaeng (A5) Station on Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport Rail Link. Although it is about 2 km from the station, transportation is still very convenient. Guests can use the hotel’s complimentary shuttle service, take a tuk-tuk, or use a motorcycle taxi to reach the station. During Bangkok’s heavy traffic, taking the Airport Rail Link and then transferring to the BTS Skytrain or MRT is often much faster and more convenient than traveling by car. The hotel is newly opened, and the overall design is modern and attractive. It is a high-rise building with beautiful views, and both the guest rooms and public areas look stylish and new. The surrounding area is also very convenient, with shopping malls, restaurants, and supermarkets such as Big C within easy reach. However, I feel that the hotel is currently focusing more on expanding its business than on maintaining service quality. The hardware is impressive, but the housekeeping and overall management still need significant improvement. From the very first day of my stay, I noticed fingerprints and stains on the windows that had not been cleaned. There was also hair, dust, and dirt under the desk, around the bed, on the bed sheets, and in the bathroom. I requested housekeeping to clean the room more thoroughly, but unfortunately the same problems remained even after the room had been serviced. It seemed that my feedback was not taken seriously, which was disappointing and affected my overall experience. I believe this hotel has great potential because of its excellent location, modern facilities, and competitive pricing. However, a good hotel needs more than just beautiful hardware. The quality of housekeeping, staff training, attention to detail, and guest service should improve to match the excellent facilities.

WWufawutiandexionghaiziThe hotel's location is pretty good. There's a convenience store downstairs, and about 500 meters south, you'll find a large shopping mall and a night market. To the north, there are all Chinese restaurants. The room itself is quite spacious. Compared to hotels in China, the decor is a bit dated, but it's very clean and the bed is large and comfortable. The front desk staff can provide basic Chinese service, so checking in was easy. The breakfast spread is also quite rich. It might be a little far from the main attractions, though.

GGuest UserThe hotel service is excellent, with a complimentary shuttle boat to the Sathorn pier. If you want to go to ICONSIAM, it's only 12 baht, with round trips every hour, which is very convenient. There's a Ferris wheel night market nearby that's great for strolling around. The hotel provides tuk-tuks to take you to the night market anytime, allowing you to enjoy it as much as you like. The hotel's location is superb, making it easy to get anywhere. They offer airport pick-up and drop-off services; booking these in advance yourself is much cheaper than booking a taxi online. The hotel staff are very welcoming, and I had a very comfortable stay. If it's your birthday, the hotel even provides a small complimentary birthday cake. Exploring the night market and taking a cruise on the Chao Phraya River at night was a wonderful travel experience.

SSS05Holiday Inn Bangkok: Perfect Solo Weekend Retreat Near Emsphere I recently spent a relaxed long weekend (just over two nights) solo at Holiday Inn Bangkok, right next to Emsphere mall. As an NRI zipping between Hong Kong and Bangkok for work, I needed a hassle-free spot with easy access to shopping, dining, and BTS— this nailed it. Location (5/5): Smack in Sukhumvit's heart, it's a 1-min walk to Emsphere's trendy shops, cinemas, and food scene. BTS Phrom Phong is 5 mins away, making airport runs and city jaunts effortless. No taxi drama in Bangkok traffic! Room & Comfort (4.5/5): My superior room was spotless, modern, and spacious for solo use— king bed was plush, blackout curtains ensured deep sleep despite city buzz. Huge bathroom with rain shower and amenities felt luxurious. Minor nitpick: AC was a tad noisy at night, but earplugs fixed it. Free Wi-Fi was speedy for my work calls. Service & Facilities (4/5): Staff were warm and efficient—check-in was instant, and they upgraded my view gratis. Gym and pool on the 8th floor offered stunning skyline vistas; poolside was quiet for solo unwinding. Breakfast buffet was solid (fresh Thai/Western options), but could use more variety for repeat stays. Value (4.5/5): At ~THB 4,500/night (booked via app), it's a steal for the location and IHG perks. Quiet for a city hotel, ideal for solo travelers avoiding party vibes. Overall: 4.5/5. Highly recommend for short business-leisure trips. Will return!

GGuest UserAddressed to Jon Warmington, the General Manager I recently stayed at Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium room 842 from 27 May to 1 June and would like to share some feedback regarding my experience. First and foremost, I would like to emphasize that I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The hotel, facilities, and the majority of the team members provided excellent service, and overall I had a pleasant experience. In fact, I am not the type of guest who frequently raises complaints. During my travels, I spend very little time in my hotel room. Most of my day is spent outside the property, and my interaction with the hotel is generally limited to breakfast and sleeping. As such, it takes a significant issue for me to feel compelled to formally raise a concern. The first issue relates to breakfast. During my stay, I invited a Muslim friend to join me for breakfast. He entered the restaurant with me but did not consume any food because he was unable to find suitable options that met his dietary requirements. While I acknowledge that I did not raise this directly with the restaurant team at the time, I was surprised when Reception later informed me that they had verified that my friend had taken breakfast. From my perspective, entering the restaurant should not automatically be considered as consuming breakfast when no food was actually taken. Nevertheless, I have decided to let this matter rest and move on. The second issue is far more serious and is the primary reason for this email. On my final night at the hotel, I was expecting a visitor. However, Reception did not contact me to verify whether I was expecting anyone before allowing my visitor access to the guest floors. Instead, my visitor was simply directed to my room and arrived at my door unannounced. Having worked within the Accor group for approximately 15 years as a Duty Manager in Singapore, I am very familiar with hotel operational procedures, guest privacy standards, and security protocols. It has always been my understanding that when a visitor arrives for an in-house guest, Reception should first contact the guest to obtain authorization before granting access to the room floors. While my visitor was indeed expected on this occasion, Reception had no way of knowing that without contacting me first. Had the visitor not been known to me, this could have resulted in a serious security and privacy issue. In my professional opinion, allowing a visitor direct access to a guest room without prior verification is unacceptable and falls short of the standards expected from an Accor property. What further disappointed me was the handling of the matter after I raised my concern. I wish to be clear that I am not seeking compensation of any kind. My concern is not financial. Rather, I expect an appropriate resolution and acknowledgement of the seriousness of the issue. Simply being told ”sorry” was not sufficient given the nature of the security lapse. The alternatives presented to me by the Night Manager were also, in my view, unreasonable. One option was for me to move to another room on my final night. Considering that I was due to check out the following morning, I found this solution impractical and disruptive. Being asked to pack my belongings and relocate because of an issue that was not caused by me did not seem to be an appropriate resolution. I was also informed that a Reception Manager would speak with me. However, I was unable to wait indefinitely for the manager's arrival. As a guest who was raising a legitimate concern, I do not believe I should have been expected to delay my evening plans or remain available for an uncertain period of time. Furthermore, I was scheduled to leave the hotel at 7:00 AM the next morning in order to arrive at the airport early for my flight. For these reasons, I felt that the issue was not properly addressed during my stay, which is why I am bringing it directly to your attention. I am raising this matter not only as a guest but also

QQusonggaiyanThis is a very quiet place with convenient transportation. You don't have to go through the city center to get to the airport. I recommend the breakfast; it's perfect for brunch because the portions are huge. The swimming pool is usable and often empty. The soundproofing in the hotel could be better, but there wasn't anyone next door anyway. It seems popular with solo travelers, which is a good sign. The shuttle service every 30 minutes to the subway station is really convenient.
