My stay at the JW Marriott was absolutely perfect, truly living up to its reputation as a benchmark five-star hotel. The lobby is grand and elegant, creating a wonderful ambiance. The guest room was spotlessly clean, with soft and comfortable bedding that ensured a fantastic night's sleep. The bathroom had a convenient wet/dry separation and was fully stocked with amenities. The staff were consistently polite and attentive, responding to requests promptly and thoroughly. The swimming pool and gym facilities were well-maintained. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the convenient location made getting around a breeze. Overall, it's a luxurious yet understated experience, incredibly comfortable, and my top choice for travel. I'll definitely be staying here again.

I had a great stay as always. I arrived early and I wasn’t sure if the room would be ready, but in fact, the room was already prepared for me according to my preferences. Jackson at the reception welcome me and the check-in went very smooth. He assured me that they have arranged a room to my liking and in fact, I was very happy with the room and the beautiful view. Highly recommend this hotel and many thanks for the warm and professional service.

Extremely satisfied with this trip! We had a wonderful Dragon Boat Festival!

Facilities: The hotel has been open for five or six years but is very well maintained, large and modern. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a good layout. The pool, gym, and other facilities are excellent. Both the Chinese restaurant and the breakfast/dinner buffets were delicious. My only disappointment was that I'd bought a group deal for the Lobby Lounge's chestnut cake, but it wasn't available at all during the Dragon Boat Festival, and this wasn't stated on the review site.

Cleanliness: Very good, spotless.

Environment: It's centrally located in Shanghai Fish, within walking distance of the museum, and the lake views are lovely. It's not far in a straight line from Jiukeshu Bubble Park, but walking there would be too far. There's no direct water access, so you'd have to take a taxi roundabout route, which we didn't do because of the rain. We took a 20-minute taxi ride to Qingxi Old Street, which was fun. It wasn't crowded or overly commercialized, making it very pleasant to explore.

Service: Impeccable. A doorman helped with luggage upon arrival, the front desk was efficient, and staff even escorted us to our room after check-in. Housekeeping was incredibly responsive, and service at the various restaurants was also excellent. Turndown service even included a Dragon Boat Festival sachet.

A couple of issues:
① After rain, the toilet had a foul smell that permeated the entire bathroom. The drainage system definitely needs maintenance.
② One morning, I smelled cigarette smoke in the shower! I initially thought something was burning, but then realized it was cigarette smoke, likely from next door, coming through the drain. It lasted for fifteen minutes and completely shocked me – I can't believe someone would be so inconsiderate.

Everything else was great, and I'd definitely consider returning.

I booked a two-night stay at the 金茂JW Marriott from July 15th to 17th. I am very grateful to the Guest Relations Executive, Xana (Jasmine), for her assistance with a room upgrade. The TV in our originally assigned room had no signal, and even after the engineers tried to fix it, the connection remained unstable. The engineers did notify the front desk on our behalf, and thanks to the prompt help from Xana and the front desk staff, we were immediately moved to another room. Xana even went out of her way to help us move our luggage. We also troubled Xana and another Guest Relations Executive to help deliver our medication to our room. Thank you, Xana, for your thoughtful service and care!

I would also like to thank the housekeeping lady for keeping the room impeccably clean and well-organized.

As for breakfast, true to the JW Marriott style, there was an excellent variety of food choices. However, I was a bit disappointed that the congee and oatmeal were not hot this time. What deserves praise, though, is that all the staff at the breakfast cafe were incredibly friendly and provided wonderful service. They all had smiles on their faces, which put us in a great mood while enjoying our morning meal.

The 金茂 JW Marriott Hotel in Shenzhen has a very convenient location and comfortable rooms. Highly recommend!

This was my first stay at the Marriott, and I was really impressed. The hotel is just a short walk across a small road to the Bay Glory Ferris Wheel and a seaside park. Even though we were in the annex building, it wasn't an issue at all. The hotel was very clean, and parking was super convenient and free. What really stood out were the afternoon tea and breakfast – both incredibly generous and delicious. The executive lounge also had a great selection of beverages. And of course, from the lobby to the lounge to the breakfast area, every single staff member was incredibly polite and welcoming. Definitely a big thumbs up!

Stayed at the JW Marriott Hotel Beijing during the Dragon Boat Festival. The location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient to get around to all the attractions by subway. The hotel environment is upscale and elegant, the rooms are clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the facilities are comprehensive. My stay was quiet and relaxing. A special shout-out to Rain at the front desk, who made check-in quick and efficient. She was warm and gentle, patiently answered all our travel and sightseeing questions, and proactively offered thoughtful suggestions. Her service was meticulous and attentive, making the entire experience comfortable and heartwarming. Both the service and the environment exceeded my expectations, making for a fantastic travel experience. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Beijing. Highly recommended!

Located right in the heart of the CBD, getting around is incredibly convenient. Even though it's an older five-star hotel, it's very well-maintained and clean. The rooms are spacious, the soundproofing is good, and the bedding is really comfortable. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the service was polite and proper. The breakfast spread offers a wide variety. It's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, making for an excellent business stay. A very reliable choice for a business trip to Beijing.
