Thank you for for good service, I am putting 5 stars for that. But in comments adding a few things that would be great to add:
1) Temperature in the elevators and hall is freezing. As a girl coming from outside summer hot weather in the dress with a kid , it’s really uncomfortable . I was shivering all the way till I got my keys for 20 minutes of all the journey to 38floor for check in and further
2) please buy proper hair dryer, current one is super old and cheap. It’s 3 star cheap Chinese hotel experience. Proper professional hairdryer costs n china 120-190 rmb, but would improve experience of guest with long hair A LOT.
3) thank you for Modern and good coffee machine, please add zero calories sweeteners in the room (equal or similar). You have it at the breakfast, but we can’t run to breakfast in Panama as we wake up and have cup of coffee.

I was very satisfied with my stay this time. The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. The room was spacious and bright, with impeccable cleanliness. The bedding was just right in terms of softness and firmness, ensuring a good night's sleep. The guest relations and front desk staff were friendly and responsive to requests, especially Dannie, who was very enthusiastic. Overall, everything was great, and I'll definitely prioritize this hotel for my next visit.

I chose JW Marriott after a thorough search for a hotel with kids' facilities for a relaxing weekend getaway with my child, and it truly exceeded my expectations! The hotel is located in the heart of Shanghai Fish, with ample parking and incredibly enthusiastic staff who helped with luggage and directions. Check-in was quick, and the front desk even upgraded us to a lake-view king room for free, which was a pleasant surprise! The lobby is very spacious, and there's a magnificent thousand-year-old ancient tree in the center.

The hotel has a pink indoor sandbox for kids, outdoor slides and play equipment, outdoor and indoor pools, and a small kids' club (suitable for toddlers). Unexpectedly, there were many families with children over the weekend, but it never felt crowded, making for an excellent and comfortable experience.

The outdoor pool was a lot of fun; the weather was perfect for it, and there's a water slide that kept my child entertained. Plus, there are free flamingo floats for photos!

The room was spacious with a corner sofa, perfect for enjoying the lake view with a coffee. There were also 4 complimentary coffee capsules in the room; if you like lattes, you'll need to bring your own milk. The bathtub was huge, and my child loved taking a bath in the evening!

We had the hotel's buffet dinner that night, featuring crayfish, oysters, foie gras, steak, sashimi, and BBQ. The quality was good, though the variety was a bit limited. The garlic crayfish was delicious! However, the sweet shrimp at the sashimi station was always gone every time I went to get some... (｡•ˇ‸ˇ•｡) I don't understand why they can't replenish it like the salmon and tuna. Towards the end, I witnessed a shocking scene: a child used a spoon they had licked to scoop chocolate sauce from the chocolate fountain in the fruit area... and their parents were standing right there. It was unbelievable. I hope the hotel can have a staff member supervise that area. I had planned to take my child there, but it immediately put me off...

Also, I'd like to suggest that the hotel promptly maintain the children's arcade facilities. Some of the shooting games were out of order. Additionally, the game tokens are a bit expensive; 20 yuan for 21 tokens is odd – I don't understand the single leftover token. And the games themselves are a bit pricey •ᴗ•💧

Even though we only stayed for one night, it felt very fulfilling. There are also many attractions near the hotel, such as the Fengxian Museum, a lake park, and a science fiction museum. My child didn't want to leave, so we'll definitely be back next time!

I was incredibly fortunate to choose this Marriott hotel for my recent short trip to Shenzhen. The hotel's overall ambiance is quiet and grand, with a clean and fresh lobby. The rooms are meticulously maintained, with perfect lighting and comfortable bedding. All facilities are well-preserved, allowing me to completely unwind after a tiring day of travel.

What truly surprised me was the thoughtful care provided by the Guest Relations team. The staff member I interacted with was warm and considerate. Being unfamiliar with the local area, I asked her for directions and she provided detailed guidance on unique and authentic places to visit and eat. She also efficiently arranged for my luggage to be stored temporarily, making the communication easy and comfortable without any awkward distance.

Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes and consistent quality, and staff throughout the dining area were polite and attentive. While standardized hardware is readily available everywhere, this kind of meticulous and heartfelt service is truly rare. On my next visit to Shenzhen, I will prioritize staying here again and will gladly recommend it to friends and family traveling to the city.

The front desk staff lacked enthusiasm throughout my stay, leading to a significant drop in my experience.

For this stay at JW Marriott Shenzhen Bao'an, let me start with the positives: The executive room itself was excellent, with relatively new facilities. The pool was also very new, the water quality was good, and there were very few people. The executive lounge staff provided attentive and thoughtful service, making the entire experience there very pleasant, and it was the highlight of this stay. However, multiple interactions with the front desk from check-in to check-out, coupled with an unexpected issue in the room, significantly reduced my overall satisfaction.

During my shower, the showerhead suddenly fell off, making it impossible to bathe properly. After reporting it, a technician came to fix it, which took nearly half an hour. For a double occupancy room, only one toothbrush set was provided, requiring me to contact the front desk for additional amenities. During my stay, I also inquired with the front desk about various things, including the executive lounge's operating hours and breakfast arrangements. Throughout these inquiries and the handling of the room issue, I was assisted by the evening front desk staff. Their attitude was cold, slightly impatient, and their communication was unclear, leaving me bewildered. I understand that working the night shift can be tough, but such service attitude is simply unacceptable. They consistently failed to consider things from the guest's perspective, lacked service enthusiasm and a personal touch, and did not proactively offer solutions. Furthermore, packages were haphazardly piled up in the front desk area, making the environment messy and completely inconsistent with the standard of a high-end JW Marriott hotel.

The executive room's hardware and the lounge service are commendable. However, the evening front desk staff's lack of service awareness and the messy front desk area, compounded by oversight in room inspection, severely impacted my overall experience. I hope the hotel strengthens service training for front desk staff, particularly focusing on the quality of service during night shifts, emphasizes room inspections, and improves environmental management in the front desk area.

Of all the hotels I've stayed at, from Tianya Town to Haitang Bay, this one had the best service. Days before check-in, they called to inform me I'd have a butler, which really put my mind at ease. Then, Jill🥒 turned out to be an absolute gem! She always replied instantly to messages and solved any problem immediately. She's truly a reason I'd happily return to this hotel.

Now, about the facilities. We got a room upgrade during the off-season. The floors were a bit old, but after staying at several hotels, I've noticed that hotels in Sanya with good locations aren't usually brand new. I was initially worried about bugs, but there were none at all. The kids' club is huge, with plenty of indoor activities, more than enough for kids under 6. I'd even say it's better than Regent. It's not far from the beach either; you just walk through a small path from the hotel and you're pretty much there. Breakfast was decent, not exceptional but definitely not bad. And the water quality at Dadonghai was much better than Haitang Bay this time. I'd probably choose this Dadonghai hotel again on my next trip.

Having stayed at many JW Marriotts before, I often found them to have a formulaic design and service that left little lasting impression. However, the JW Marriott Haitang Bay completely shattered that stereotype. Check-in was conducted privately in a separate room, and the hotel offers butler service. There's also a nightly ritual held at the hotel.

The hotel's architecture and landscaping are in the style of a Spanish hacienda, making it highly distinctive among the many hotels in Sanya. The villas have been renovated and show no signs of age, equipped with Dyson hair dryers, electric curtains, smart toilets, and Bose sound systems – everything you could wish for. Breakfast is semi-buffet style with an à la carte menu; both the taste and presentation are excellent.

Our butler, Peppermint (Mint) Harry 🍬, was incredibly proactive, enthusiastic, and attentive, providing a much better and more comprehensive service than many butlers at other Sanya hotels. Overall, the stay far exceeded my expectations and is comparable to the St. Regis and Ritz-Carlton within the same group.
