"Excellent facilities and beautiful decor. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. The bathroom is also well-appointed with amenities, towels, shower gel, shampoo, and lotion. The breakfast was quite comprehensive and varied, with plenty to choose from. For me, the only thing missing was dairy products like yogurt. The staff were very kind, attentive, and looked after the guests, helping with everything they could. Special thanks to Gio who was very attentive to me, and to Yesika who made sure my stay was very pleasant – and they succeeded! Many thanks to them."

"The reception n security staff are very helpful. The lobby is nice, smells good. The property is clean. Elevator only fit 2 adults n luggage (ours are backpacks) But the layout of the room is very weird & ineffective. It’s clearly not designed properly. The wardrobe is gigantic it takes up the whole entry. The desk & tv are too big. The bed is very small I don’t think it’s queen size (160cm wide). The chair of the desk is almost not usable bcs there’s no space to put it out. The AC hits your head directly it’s ridiculous. We have to turn around, put our head on the feet side. The bedside corner next to the window is such a waste of space. The bathroom is quite spacey. Amenities is nice, American Standard. But the hot water in the shower doesn’t work. Only the one in the sink does. The floor is slippery. Both of our towels are torn. The walls are paper thin all kinds of sounds n volume goes through. It’s non smoking bedroom but our sheet has cigarette burn marks. Too bad. The location is perfect n staffs are nice. But the building n interior contractor seems lacking of competence."

"I stayed for two nights to explore Jakarta. The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate and comfortable for a solo traveler. The overall design of the hotel and the guest rooms was lovely and stylish; just being in such a chic space really uplifted my mood. The breakfast didn't boast the extensive variety of a five-star hotel, but there was a good enough selection, and it was delicious. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the staff were attentive and polite; I didn't encounter any issues during my stay. The location was also excellent, with easy access to attractions like Monas and Istiqlal Grand Mosque, which was a major plus. It served as a convenient base for sightseeing."

"Loved this small hotel and the location is nice too. Near Sarina and Sabang but not exactly on the front of it so the traffic not in you face 😛 They provided you with nice laundry room w detergent and fabric softener ready. Def a a nice treat for its guests. The breakfast buffet even tho not a lot but full dish and v tasty and i loved the provided the “kerupuk & sambel corner too” 🥰🙏🏽❤️🌶️ Keep up a good work Ashley group I will try your other location too. I tried Ashley Sabang already but thus one is much better imo. Orig i booked their standard room but since my family visit me during my stays here in jtown so I upgraded to the executive room which more spacious and offered Netflix and YT (need to use ur acct). Unfortunately the lack of sitting area upset like sofa it a bit disappointed. Also the sink wont drained properly and the shower needs to be fix. Overall 9 ratings but could it be better. 🥰"

"I had a wonderful stay at Ashley Tanah Abang! The hotel is clean, modern, and very comfortable. The location is excellent—close to Tanah Abang Market, shopping areas, and public transportation, making it very convenient to get around Jakarta. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, and the bathroom was clean with good amenities. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. Breakfast had a good variety of food, and everything I tried was fresh and delicious. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money with excellent service and facilities. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Ashley Tanah Abang to anyone visiting Jakarta for business or leisure."

"I've stayed here many times. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though they no longer provide disposable toiletries, which I assume is for environmental reasons. There are lots of food options nearby, including coffee shops. This past weekend, I visited a 150-year-old coffee shop and a jazz bar. The hotel staff, from the front desk to the restaurant servers and cleaning crew, are all fantastic and provide excellent service."

"The facilities are a bit old, and it's about 600 meters from the metro station. Breakfast was quite limited, just milk, bread, and fried rice. However, the room rate was affordable and included breakfast."

"The hotel is absolutely fantastic! The lobby was already wonderfully cool and had a pleasant aromatherapy scent as soon as I walked in. 👍🏻 Every corner is adorned with Chinese-themed decorations, making you feel like you're in Shanghai itself. 🥰 My mom loved it and kept taking photos everywhere, haha. The room was clean, The bathroom was clean, The AC in the room was cool, Everything was excellent. The only downside I can think of is that there wasn't a chair or sofa with a backrest in the room. This was a slight inconvenience since I was traveling with my elderly parents, haha. Other than that, everything was perfectly fine!"

The location is excellent—conveniently close to many attractions and business areas while still being peaceful and quiet. The facilities, including the swimming pool and gym, were clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was also delicious, with a good variety of options to choose from. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend Fraser Residence Menteng to anyone visiting Jakarta. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip!"
