Hotels near Baiyoke II Tower in Bangkok

I recently stayed at Baiyoke Sky Hotel Bangkok, and while the hotel offers some notable advantages, there were also a few aspects that affected the overall experience. The hotel's greatest strength is its iconic status and central location, with easy access to shopping areas, transportation, and some of Bangkok's most vibrant districts. The views from the upper floors are impressive, especially at night, and the rooms are generally spacious and comfortable. However, guests should be prepared for the very busy environment surrounding the hotel. The area outside is often crowded due to the nearby market, street vendors, and constant flow of tourists and shoppers. While some visitors may enjoy the lively atmosphere, it can feel chaotic and overwhelming, particularly during peak hours. Another area for improvement is the breakfast buffet. Although there is a wide variety of food available, the menu remains largely unchanged from day to day. For guests staying multiple nights, the repetitive selection can become monotonous and takes away from what could otherwise be a more enjoyable dining experience. Overall, Baiyoke Sky remains a convenient option for travelers who want to be in the heart of Bangkok's action, but there is room to enhance the guest experience, particularly in terms of breakfast variety and the overall arrival environment.

The room's huge and clean. The city view and sunset from the room's window was awesome. I will definitely book here again. I just hope, they have a long curtain to cover all the window including the one beside the AC.

My stay was fine, but nothing spectacular. The hotel is a bit dated, though everything was functional and clean enough. The best part was the location, which made it easy to explore the area. However, the room felt a little cramped, and the AC was a bit loud at night. It’s a perfectly fine place if you just need a spot to sleep, but don't expect many ”extras.” It gets the job done for a budget stay.

The lo location of Hotel was super convenient and hot area. You can eat , shop and got 7-11 within 100m. Opposite got Thai Dee massage as well that provide good massage with reasonable price . Only minus point is the road very narrow , ypu may need carry your luggage a bit outside to get grab or bolt .

The beds and rooms were clean, but after closing the doors, the signal and 5G reception were very poor, and the Wi-Fi was weak. We had to open the doors to use the internet. The host was friendly and could speak English. The hot water sometimes didn't work, but overall it was fine. The location is near the train station and Pratunam Market, so booking a car might lead to traffic jams; it's better to go to the main road or take a motorbike.

The location is just perfect for first-timers. A 7-11 nearby, a few miles to Pratunam market and Platinum mall. Not busy at night and very peaceful. However, the do get a lot of rules such as no smoking etc which of course is why the room are cleaned. Running water and shower is a bit low. The breakfast didn’t meet my expectation at all. There are a few options but I’d rather buy from 7-11. Other than that, it’s quite a good catch for Bangkok.

Location is quite good, there is a local street market just foot steps away from hotel and you can get really good dishes all within 15 minutes, but it closes around 8 p.m. You can easily hire a grab bike nearby, to get to the other spots in town. Many complained that the showering room was too tiny and could barely move but I felt it was fine, I am 5 inch 10 feet and weigh 170 lbs for reference. The room and the hallways have lots of design that I feel the vibe for hotels in Southern Europe, a good plus. Pity that there's no indoor gym or pool but a bit of search could find a match nearby.

The hotel room is quite spacious and the bed is very comfortable, we slept very well. The hotel staff are also very friendly! The only downside is that the air conditioner can be a bit noisy, possibly because it’s rather old. Another thing to be mentioned is the hotel is located at the end of an alley, with Indian restaurants and hotels on both sides. When walking through the alley, you may occasionally notice some Indian men staring at you, which can feel a bit scary if you’re alone. Overall, it’s good value for money with a great location, close to various shopping malls.

The hotel is right next to the Baiyoke Sky Hotel; it took a while to find, but then it was easy. There was a kettle in the room, and water was provided daily. The soundproofing was very loud, but we only stayed overnight. It was fine for us. There weren't many options at the time, so we chose this one. When we left in the morning, we saw people having breakfast in the restaurant.

Positive: The location in Pratunam Market is fantastic for food and shopping every day. The room was cleaned daily, and coffee was refilled. It had a mini-fridge, hairdryer, hot water kettle, and a TV. The hot water worked perfectly. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Don't be surprised by the narrow alleyway leading to the hotel, which has many Indian businesses. Negative: The soundproofing in the rooms is poor; you can clearly hear the next-door neighbors, which is very disruptive when trying to sleep at night. It sounds like the walls are made of plywood. Also, my niece got bed bug bites from sleeping on the bed in the corner near the bathroom wall. Conclusion: Is it comfortable? Yes, it's a very good hotel to stay in. If only the walls were soundproof and there were no bed bugs.
