The place is FANTASTIC! So many facilities and it's huge....
The cabin was very far and a very long walk to get to, it had much to be desired as far as up to date and cleanliness but was okay.
It's a bit far to get to from train station (how we came this time).
Overall, we loved it mainly for it's atmosphere and facilities. Two pools were fantastic, easy access to the river was great and kids all over the place was just lovely!

My family enjoyed our 1 night stay at Discovery Park Moama West. Warm and friendly staff greeted us on arrival. Our cabin was clean and comfortable with everything we needed, including a spa which the kids enjoyed after dinner. Our cabin was close to the pool and the playground, the jumping pillow was fun for the kids. The pool was a bit cold for the adults but this didn't stop the kids who are a lot tougher than their parents. Great location, a short drive to the RSL where we had dinner with 10% off everything when we showed our cabin key tag.

Was a great Place but we didn't know if you put your Towels out of your cabin on your front Porch for change over you don't get new ones ,ours were just taken and not replaced and to late at night when we got back from a function to get new ones that night .And also we had very bad Phone and internet connection/service , even with using 2 of the major Telcos , apparently according to Town locals we spoke to, Phone Service is Bad way out there .
Other parks I have stayed in, even small Parks have installed really good wifi set ups in their Parks , would of been good for this Park to put that in , others staying in this Park had said the same to us .

Whole apartment including toilets are equipped with heater, we feel comfortable with the chilly cold weather outside, especially up in high attitude Cradle Mountain.
It was equipped with complete set of pots & pans, stove, microwave, fridge to cook our own meals.
We managed to send message (via Trip.com) to alert on our late checkin, special arrangement for self-checkin after their work hours. Biggest problem we have problem figuring out where to collect the apartment key as it was raining & sky turning dark.
Although we only stayed for a night, we do feel like staying home, so comfortable.
Our dislike is we had to check out before 10am in which we don’t have much time to explore in early morning since it was raining since night before until morning, it’s like we just booked in for a night sleep that’s it.

The place was lovely although the service level js left to be desired. On trip it said that reception is open until 6pm. However when i arrived there at 5.30pm , it was already shut. And there was somebody at reception who refused to open the door , despite it snowing quite a bit. The person just spoke through the close door and said “oh you booked through a 3rdparty website and so its got nothing to do with us!” She wasnt the least bit helpful. Thankfully there was another guy who arrived at the same time and he opened the mail box next to the closed door, and there were envelopes with our keys there. This was not communicated at all. Firstly, the opening times of the reception was wrong. The really unhelpful staff from Discovery Resorts completely washed her hands off and blamed Trip.Com for not publishing the right opening times.

Staff were friendly. Location is perfect. I suggest that you should stopover at your closest grocery store because there's no coles or woolies nearby. Closest is a 40 mins drive. Overall, it was very peaceful. Love that they don't have lightpost, you could visibly see the stars at night.

In a campsite, the surrounding area is very convenient, with shops and supermarkets. The kitchen in the cabin is fully equipped and the sanitary conditions are OK. There were many kangaroos and parrots flying around. It's basically a self-service model with no service. The check-in time marked by Ctrip is wrong, and the staff gets off work at 17:00. But I left the key, so it's very convenient to check in by yourself.
