Its best feature is its location, steps from the beach. However, it's a hotel that has been downgraded; some rooms and hallways are in dire need of maintenance. I didn't realise the pool area no longer belonged to the hotel, which was a disappointment. I feel the price is high compared to other places with more amenities and more modern facilities. Breakfast was average as well.

The rooms are not big, but the layout is good, considering it’s all open plan with no separate bedroom. There is a TV opposite the bed on the wall so you can watch movies if you like in bed. 

The balcony is a good size and the views are very good from the apartment.

The Mantra Circle on Cavill is a great place to stay while visiting Surfers, the apartments are large with floor to ceiling windows from the bedroom and lounge,

This apartment was on level 30 on the city river side, great views and this is the side with sunset. 

I’ve also stayed on the Seaview side with a sunrise in the morning. 
I think the Seaview side is slightly better with the views 

It has a full kitchen everything is modern and comfortable 

It’s like staying at someone’s home

The

It's difficult to review the Mantra Sun City. It's a story of highs and lows. 
The property is well designed, and well equipped with excellent pools and fun things to do onsite. Then - on the other hand - the coffee shop and bar is barely open which I suspect might be fuelling a downward sprial of lower patronage ＞ fewer hours ＞ lower patronage. 
We were very surprised to be asked on arrival to pay an additional $20 per day for parking. Several other recent reviews also state surprise at the unexpected parking charge - so beware!  I believe Mantra needs to sort this out with the platform who took my accommodation on their behalf. 
Our one bedroom seaveiw apartment is similarly difficult to review. It was spacious, fabulous ocean views, well designed, comfy bed, quality body wash and moisturiser. So most of the important stuff done very nicely and absolutely enjoyable. But there were a number of easily avoidable shortfalls that made it umfortable like there being only 4 of everything crockery and cutlery, only 1 champagne flute, and not enough to keep things clean in a self-catering apartment. 
None of the shortfalls were enough to not recommend Mantra Sun City as a place to stay. Just come a little bit prepared.

Had a mini break for the weekend on surfers and absolutely cannot fault the location of this hotel!! Free parking too made it easy to park and forget about the car got the weekend!! Staff were friendly and although the room was a bit outdated, it did the job for family of 4 (2bed) Room needed a clean as there were still crumbs in the couch cracks and bathroom had a few hairs left. But I’d definitely return. Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow for use of the pool and facilities, but there were lots of people in the indoor pool and gym!! Loved this place!!!

The apartment hotel does not provide much service. The picture shows that there is a kitchen for children. The outdoor swimming pool and the small play ground for children are not bad. You can use the poolside BBQ, but you have to use it to clean the stove plate or something. Think about giving up. . The biggest highlight is that you can take the elevator from the pool side to the supermarket downstairs and some small shops and restaurants. There is nothing to buy in the shops downstairs. If you do n’t cook, the Papa restaurant downstairs in Malaysia is suitable for kids to eat fried rice and pho. You can walk to the beach from there and walk for about 20 minutes. The location is good for this price. Anyway, nothing luxurious, but practical and clean, suitable for family travel.

The hotel is beautiful, pool, grounds and spotlessly clean. The staff were really helpful (especially the English girl), not far to walk from town and harbour. Bedding and towels immaculate, they even supplied beach/pool towels. Our only concern was that there was a bit of maintenance work going on as end of season which was noisy and the pool bar wasn’t well stocked, and we’d have loved some eggs at breakfast as sourdough and guacamole was provided!! We were offered a reasonably priced upgrade and allowd to keep our room a couple hours longer that 10am on departure. Overall we loved relaxing by the pool, and think the price reflected the very minor issues.

We stayed as a couple in late December, just after Christmas. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the shared swimming pool area on the ground floor. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the lovely reception staff, who showed us the room details. The room featured a spa tub on the balcony, which we enjoyed. However, the hotel itself felt a bit outdated and old-fashioned. While the room was reasonably comfortable, we noticed some wear and tear, like chipped and scratched surfaces in the bathroom amenities and signs of overall poor maintenance. Also, the spa tub was not well-cleaned, with visible dirt and mould in the crevices, which was disappointing. Overall, while the staff were welcoming and the room had its enjoyable aspects, the lack of upkeep in the facilities detracted from our experience.

A hotel searched on the Internet, the facilities are complete, the rooms are spacious, the price is good, the quality is good, the port is very close to the port of Douglas, the surrounding food and beverage supermarkets are all available, the whole is value-for-money, satisfactory. However, as a high-scoring hotel, there is still a gap in service. I haven't cleaned the room for two nights. Indeed, I have come back for a day, and I haven't moved in the room. I wonder if there is a rule to live without having to clean it? It doesn't matter, it's okay to clean up. I just told the front desk in advance that I had to leave the store at 7.30 in the morning of the second day, but the next morning at 7.30, the front door and window of the reception hall were closed, no staff on duty could be found, no one answered the phone... The luggage was taken down, and It is inconvenient to throw it and then send the room card to the room. In desperation, the room card is stuffed from the door seam, and the reservation customer service is sent to inform the check-out email...  The result is unknown. Fortunately, I only brushed a 10-knife credit guarantee when I checked in. It doesn't matter if I can't retreat...

Spacious, perfectly appointed down to an excellent tea box. No cable but tv offered large choice of music. The Jazz was right on. Quality furniture and bed. Comfy pillows of choice. Lovely tub. And next door to Mocky's. Best pie shop in town.
Couldn't have picked a better spot. Oh pool looked a bit small? Too busy to use.

The location was really good, but the facilities weren't. For a room advertised for four people, there was only one chair and no extra chairs available. We couldn't move the table, so we ended up using our suitcase as a makeshift dining table. We couldn't open the windows at all, so there was no ventilation. I wouldn't choose this accommodation again if I planned on cooking meals.

It's about a 15-minute walk from the domestic terminal, and the route isn't very easy to find. The airport shuttle costs extra. The soundproofing isn't great; even though Sydney Airport has a curfew, the hotel is next to a road, so you can still hear traffic noise at night.

Great for a family trip! The rooms are a bit dated, but not in a worn-out way. It has an old-money vibe with new-money amenities, haha! The breakfast definitely deserves a special mention; it's excellent. I much prefer it to the breakfasts at many other 'star-rated' hotels. The front desk staff are also very friendly and helpful. It’s perfect for family travel, and it’s convenient to walk to many places. The only downside is that it can be noisy at night. The first night, there were police sirens wailing, and on weekends, there's noise from the bars… Aside from the noise, everything else is perfect! If you're exhausted from exploring all day, you'll probably fall right asleep, so it's still a good option.

.I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The location was convenient, and the overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming. I really appreciated the quick service and attention to detail. I would happily recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again.

My experienced wasn’t bad. Location is very close to the train station, for the price it’s okay. Shout out to the reception a guy who served me when I arrived. He offered me a can of drink because it was sunny and I was walking from station to the accomodation. Great customer service. One thing that I don’t like was the mini bar fridge it was damaged. One night I arrived into my room, I nearly slipped, there was water everywhere from the fridge all the way to the door. 
I rang up to discuss the issue no one answered. I decided to put all the towels in the floor to stop the water. My issue was HEALTH & SAFETY of the guest. 
Aside from that issue everything was good.

Clean, good servicehad a pleasant stay at Mantra Chatswood. The location is definitely the highlight — right in the heart of Chatswood with easy access to shops, restaurants, cafes, and public transport. It’s very convenient whether you’re visiting for work or leisure.
The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with good amenities and a practical layout. 

Staff were friendly and helpful during check-in and throughout the stay. 
Overall, Mantra Chatswood is a reliable option for anyone wanting a comfortable stay in a central North Shore location. Would happily stay again.

The location is super convenient; I could walk to Darling Harbour, QVB, Chinatown, and the Fish Market. Public transportation is also readily available. The room was spacious and comfortable. I'll definitely book again next time! Plus, booking flights and hotels together was a convenient and good deal. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my stay.
