This hotel stay left a deep impression on me. The staff's attitude was beyond my expectations – incredibly warm and friendly. Everyone I encountered, from floor attendants to lobby staff, was genuinely welcoming, which truly speaks to the hotel's strong corporate culture. It made us feel happy and secure while traveling. When we were heading out, a cleaning staff member on the 16th floor even asked if we wanted some bottled water for the road – how thoughtful!

We brought our child to POPland this time, and this hotel, with its excellent location and convenient transportation, turned out to be an unexpected gem. I've stayed at the Ritz-Carlton and Hilton before but never a Kempinski. Now I'm eager to try Kempinskis in other cities to see if they're all equally perfect. Overall, this was a memorable stay. During check-in, Daisy Liu at the front desk was so enthusiastic and helpful. She gave us a detailed introduction to all the hotel's restaurants and mentioned that by prepaying, we could get discounts on our dining. What's more, I once attended a Christmas tree lighting ceremony at a Kempinski in Jinan, and their log cake was incredibly rich and delicious – honestly the best chocolate cake I've ever had. Coincidentally, Daisy mentioned how famous this very cake was. I had thought there might be some differences in ingredients due to the regional variations, but thanks to her recommendation, I got to savor that wonderful chocolate cake again. At checkout, I serendipitously met Daisy again. She asked if we enjoyed our stay and even gave us a lovely souvenir comb as a parting gift. She definitely deserves a thumbs-up for her warm and attentive service!

After all that, I must also highlight the brilliance of the Kempinski rooms, especially how friendly they are for those who enjoy baths or families with children. The bathtub and shower are in the same room, so you don't have to worry about the bathwater getting cold and inconvenient to change, or your child splashing water everywhere and creating slippery hazards. The faucet on the washbasin can rotate, which is another thoughtful touch. The grouting on the tiles is exceptionally well done, leaving no dead corners for dirt, and everything was sparkling clean. The electronic shower curtain is convenient to use, making the stay both cozy and technologically advanced. It was a fantastic experience, and this is a genuine review, not an advertisement. I'll definitely choose Kempinski first next time.

This is the best hotel my wife and I have stayed at in Beijing! We spent the Chinese New Year holiday exploring the outskirts of Beijing, and the pool here is fantastic – a 25-meter heated pool. The gym is well-equipped, and what truly stands out is the extensive movie selection in the suite. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offer incredible natural light! We spent our days hiking, afternoons swimming and working out, and evenings enjoying the night view of Huairou before settling in for a great movie. It felt like a true vacation! The hotel's location is also excellent, with no tall buildings obstructing the view, giving you a commanding panorama of the surrounding mountains. The hotel itself is beautiful, the lobby is lovely, and the breakfast is superb. Highly recommended! I hope everyone takes good care of such a wonderful hotel.

This was my second visit to Yanqi Lake, and I came to Yanqi Island specifically for its lush greenery. The hotel's concept is excellent, with 80% of the island covered in vegetation, making for truly picturesque scenery. The hotel facilities are also good; even the washbasins are Villeroy & Boch. The food at Guanlan Xuan was delicious, even a simple bowl of tomato noodle soup was fantastic.

However, the hotel's cleanliness was just average, and the room wasn't very clean. The worst part was the hotel's service level. At the breakfast noodle station, there was no queuing system, and noodles I ordered were taken by someone else, leading to complete disorder. During meals, cleaning staff constantly approached us, asking if they could clear our plates. And then there's the concierge. They wanted to charge 100 RMB per person for an electric cart tour around the island, and initially even told me my child would be charged! Thankfully, someone who seemed like a supervisor nearby intervened and said young children wouldn't be charged. When we went to visit the APEC conference center and Yanqi Pagoda, the security guard downstairs at Yanqi Pagoda, Xiaolong Yo, provided terrible service. The elevator in the pagoda couldn't accommodate so many people, and coincidentally, my child was a bit fussy, so we played downstairs for a while. When we tried to take the elevator again, they told us we weren't allowed up! They even blamed the concierge guide! For a hotel that caters to government receptions, if this is their service standard, it definitely needs improvement. They should hire a manager from a big chain like Marriott to thoroughly streamline their processes.

This hotel is located on Yanqi Island, and it's the only one there (the Yanqi Hotel and Yanqi Villa are essentially the same entity). It sits right next to the Yanqi Pagoda, while the villas are scattered across the island. All dining and entertainment facilities are within the main hotel building. We booked three rooms this time, and each one was spacious, luxurious, and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent; the braised pork ribs were a rare and delightful find for breakfast! Also, next to the indoor pool, there's a hot tub, which is wonderfully relaxing in winter. The island has many trees and walking paths, but unfortunately, it was too cold to explore much, so we only walked for a short while. Highly recommended!

The location of Kempinski Boulevard Dubai is excellent—right in the heart of Downtown and very convenient for getting around. The staff are truly wonderful: friendly, professional, and consistently attentive. Service throughout the hotel was great, and cleanliness was also very well maintained.

That said, the rooms feel quite dated and are in need of renovation. While they are clean, the furnishings and overall condition do not meet expectations for a 5-star hotel, especially given the price point. For what is being charged, the rooms should be more modern and better maintained.

Overall, it’s a comfortable stay with fantastic staff and location, but room upgrades would significantly improve the experience and better justify the 5-star rating.

The location is absolutely fantastic. You can access Dubai Mall directly from the hotel. It's super close to both the Burj Khalifa and the Underwater Zoo. The breakfast meets the standard of an international five-star hotel. Just a heads up, the taxi stand is a bit different from what you might be used to in some countries. Free parking is a huge plus; you can just park right at the entrance and pick up your car when you leave. It's incredibly convenient for those on a road trip. If I get the chance, I'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed for one night as a group of four and enjoyed close rooms on request the staff was helpful and when we told them we were celebrating my sisters graduation they didn’t hesitate to bring us a complimentary cake. The rooms are clean and the location is perfect it took us 6 minutes from our room to the mall.

Loved every bit, breakfast was awesome. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Anastasia was our host for the first day and her smile made us start our everyday there very beautifully. She was exceptionally lovely. 

Simply awesome - an architectural masterpiece. Very attentive staff, a gorgeous room. Excellent restaurants nearby at reasonable prices.
What could be improved: Sauna access should be free for guests, and the temperature inside needs to be raised to at least 90 degrees, otherwise it's hotter outside.

The room were spacious though we don’t think the lounge was worth it as it lacked dining options. Morning breakfast at the lobby can be quite crowded and chaotic. The restaurant manager were cold and indifferent though most servers were friendly. The fried eggs and omelette were a big disappointments as they tasted soggy and bad.  Quality of the food is average. 


While most of the front line staff are friendly, the golf cart driver left us alone several times outside of the hotel, leaving us in the dark. The room were refurbished but some minor issues include uneven wooden floors which you can see the floors in the room are quite dated and rotten. The bathroom facilities were a major disappointment as the shower head and shower tap fall down twice, which could pose eminent  safety hazards to guests. Beddings are okay but the delivery of services are quite slow.
